Been dealing with Summit since right after they started the business. I had an old system when I moved into my house in 1996. They still did the maintenance on it so when I remodeled in 2005 I hired them to install a new energy efficient furnace and a/c unit and have been very happy with all their work to date.

Peggy, Glenn, Rose, and Travis, did an amazing job installing a wood stove. As a construction manager, I have a eye out for craftsmanship. Summit did a quality install at my house. I would highly recommend their services.

Vern came out within 2 hours due to a faulty furnace. He diagnosed the issue as a faulty vacuum switch, he did a quick fix and hoped that would take care of the issue but in the meantime he had a new one ordered. 3 days later it started acting up. Call and he advised how to quick fix it again and felt that the new part came in. I got a call the next morning and the part was in and within 10 minutes Vern was there had the part installed and everything is fine now. I would recommend everyone give them a try you’ll be impressed!!!!!!!!!

After our old water heater sprung a leak they worked with us and our home owners warranty to ensure we were educated on the replacement and labor costs. They replaced our unit and identified another potential leak in the water connection line fixing that as well. Peggy in the office is a gem!

Summit Heating & Air Conditioning came to our rescue when we had NO A/C in August due to another person installing a BRAND NEW UNIT for us who did very shoddy, unprofessional work & left us high & dry. I called Summit & explained the situation. I talked to Peggy, the owner, & she didn't hesitate. She said they would help us get everything fixed, which they did! She sent Jesse over. He diagnosed not 1, but 5 things that were wrong with the new a/c unit due to the other person's terrible workmanship! This was on a Friday afternoon. He didn't have time that late in the day to get the job started as it was going to take a good part of the day to get everything fixed. Summit loaned us, free of charge, 2 window unit air conditioners to get us through the weekend so we would at least have some relief from our hot house! What a Godsend! How many businesses do that??? Jesse came back on Monday, right on time, & before the day was out, he had everything back in good working order, & our a/c was working like it should've been from the start of all this mess we had! Jesse is a very nice guy..a very polite, smart, knowledgeable & respectful HVAC technician who knows his job & does it very well! Everyone at Summit Heating & Cooling is extremely nice, respectful, smart & knowledgeable about what they do! They all go the extra mile to help you fix the problem right the 1st time. I will never call another company for any heating or cooling needs in our home & I will recommend them to anyone who needs help with their a/c or heating! You really cannot find a better company or group of people. Peggy runs a quality operation! I cannot thank her or her employees enough for what they did for us. It meant the world to be treated so kindly & with prompt care & genuine concern over our bad situation that another so called "a/c person" created! Thank you again Summit H & C!!!

Called Summit to give an estimate on a new gas fireplace as the old one would not light. Vern came and checked out the existing unit, and found the switch was bad. Replaced the switch and did maintenance on my old unit. Vern was prompt, polite and saved me a lot of money :)

I called for a replacement of a gas ignition pipe in my fireplace and was given an appointment the very next day. Jason did great work-he was able to get the old pipe off and the new one on in 25 minutes! He wore booties on his shoes and placed a cloth down to protect my floor/carpet. I got a $20 off coupon on the website. Happy customer and I can now use my the gas to ignite the wood in my fireplace again. Thanks Jason and Summit!

Alex, did a great job today with our yearly maintenance on our furnace. He also did our yearly fire place cleaning and maintenance. Alex was very helpful with our Nest wiring update, no more worries when the temps go below zero. Summit always takes care of us, even when it’s just a phone call to ask some questions.

Ricardo hands down 10 stars plus very professional fixed what the last people didn't do for our safety. Peggy the owner was helpful to our situation and got it alp worked out in hours I highly recommend this family owned company best prices around full service. Summit Heating and Air Conditioning is so good! I needed someone to look at my furnace and they came the next day. Their prices are very reasonable. The technician was so courteous.

We were very pleased with Summit. The men worked well together, did our installations of air conditioner and furnace in a timely manner, and were ver courteous. Very easy to deal with everyone at the company.

I had Summit install new furnace and AC unit at rental property. I needed the furnace installed quickly and they were able to get it done. I now have them come twice a year to clean and service both units. They are always very professional, courteous, prompt and always clean up when they are done.

We have used Summit a couple times in emergencies and have been very happy with our service! The service men have been very professional and knowledgeable on both occasions. We were very fortunate to have such quick service by Summit to keep our little ones warm. After our service today, we have decided to sign up as preferred customers and have our regular maintenance done by their respectable team. We couldn't be happier with our choice in HVAC team.

I was so impressed with this service. My thermostat (that was not that old) just stopped working. My furnace and central air conditioner continued to run. It was over 86 degrees in the house. Summit came right away. Jason was our tech, and he was very polite. He got it running, but there was a glitch and he came back the same day to make sure it was running properly. I have a disabled son, and I had to go get him from an appointment. He was patiently waiting for me when I got back. What impressed me so much was Peggy. Not to many people that answer the phones are so knowledgeable about their service. She made sure that I tried something before charging me to send someone. Then, she explained other things that may be happening and got Jason back ASAP. She was amazing! I have talked to Julie to set up my maintenance plan I now have with them. I normally wouldn't, but I just love their service. Julie was so sweet on the phone. I highly recommend this company. (I normally don't take the time to write such a review. This company deserves it)!

Called Summit to come look at my furnace (which is over 20 years old) and not working. Within just a few hours they figured out the problem, obtained a replacement part, installed it and had heat flowing through my house again. Thank you Summit for a job well done!

Yesterday (6/29/20) I again had to call Summit, this time for my air conditioning. Julie had me troubleshoot a few things over the phone and then assured me they would be out to help. She was friendly, reassuring and obviously knows her job well! Josh came out, took care of our problem quickly and had us on the road to cool air again. He too, was professional, knowledgeable and incredibly nice! I can't say enough about the helpfulness and friendliness of the people I have encountered when dealing with Summit! They are professional and quick to answer the call when help is needed. They will have all my business from now on and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Summit!!

Ruben is great. Professional and personable. He came out for a furnace inspection and was very thorough inspecting all of the components outlining and showing me what needed to be done and what could wait or should be considered down the line to prepare for and why. He took photos of the before and after, provided an estimate to make informed decisions and got in touch with the project manager to come out to assess plans for future work. I highly recommend them and I'll be sure to ask for Ruben in future appointments. Thank you Ruben for easing my mind of these concerns and for doing an awesome job as a whole.

Ricardo came to work on our furnace and got the work done fast and did extra stuff he gave contacts for other services that are needed and also have great prices. He has great attitudes and show empathy for his customers. Recommend hiring Summit

I’ve been using Summit for at least a year and have loved everything about this business. Peggy is smart, efficient, responsive and accommodating. Laura is excellent on the phone and schedules everything with ease. When I call them, they know who I am (I assume they have a great system that tells them who the caller is and pulls up my account - makes a huge difference). They even know how to pronounce my name, which is weirdly rare! Last time I spoke with Laura I mentioned that I finally got COVID, and when Peggy called me back the next week she knew all about it and asked how I was doing! Smart business, very personable and caring.

Vern, Pat and Jessie are all excellent technicians. I’ve had a couple of others but sadly have forgotten their names so sorry guys - you were awesome!). Jessie installed my ventless gas fireplace and was efficient and a fun guy to be around. Vern had quoted the job and spent time petting my rabbit and dog afterward - so nice! Pat did my annual maintenance on the furnace this season and another great duo came out for my annual AC service this summer. They were both so friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone from Summit is always happy to answer my asinine questions and they are always in a great mood.

If I had a Summit for every professional service need in my life I’d be set.

Pricing is always very fair, scheduling is flawless, they always show up, the work is done with care and expertise. I tell them on the phone how great they are all of the time, but I’m glad I’m finally taking a moment to review them here so that others can feel confident in working with them, too. We recently purchased a home and found out our furnace was no longer working after installing a new thermostat. Summit was quick to set up a visit and even informed us of a sooner available time, which we took. The technician, Vern Newman, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and up front with all costs after reviewing our heating system. We have always been very pleased with Summit for maintenance of our heating & cooling systems along with gas fireplace maintenance. We allow them access to our home while away and they have always left everything very clean and undisturbed. Pricing is fair and service technicians always friendly and correspond by phone with any questions.
