June 20, 2024 Jeremy did a great job...found an ailing capacitor and replaced it...very nice young man, and polite!

They came out today to diagnose our heating/cooling system and found the issue right away. Gave a great price for the service. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I would highly recommend Summit for your heating and air conditioning needs. The owner, office staff and all the technicians are great to work. Service is top line. They have only ran late once, and they called to let us know they were behind and what time they would arrive. We were even given the option of changing the appointment is the new arrival time was not going to be convenient for us.
6/18/2024 Jeremy came out today to do the season check on the AC at my main residence and the rental property. He was very friendly, professional and explained everything he was doing. I needed a capacitor, he explained to me why and showed me why. I would HIGHLY recommend Summit Heating and A/C to family and friends and recommend Jeremy. Thank You Peggy and Summit.

Vern came out today 7/11/2025 and did the season check on my rental house and my house. Vern was friendly, professional and explained to me what he found at the rental property and my personal residence. I would highly recommend Summit Heating & Air Conditioning for all your heat and air needs.

Summit is just the best. At a time when getting any kind of service for a home is nearly impossible, they always go above and beyond. All the way from the owners to the service people, they treat you with courtesy and respect. A special shout out to Ricardo, he is a gem.

Summit has been great. We own commercial property throughout the Midwest and they service one of our mobile home parks in Princeton, IL. They've been extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable and they've provided excellent service. They are also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.

I have antique coal burning fireplace in my living room. Vern and Summit came up with a solution to fit a natural gas coal basket in the existing insert to make my fireplace come back to life. Excellent Service, I will use them again for sure.

Connor came through to check our initial issue with my a/c, very informative. We decided to go with a new Rheem unit. The two guys who installed it were great, efficient, and polite. All around great business and great people! A+++

We knew before we purchased our home the HVAC was old but working. So I shopped around on Yelp for a local HVAC company and thankfully found Summit. With it being prime AC season and hot heat they were booked until October so I took it cause like I said they're working. They called me the same day with a cancellation, got me in the same week, scheduled installation for the next week, and got a heater and AC installed within 2 days (the old equipment was big and bulky, not too mention oddly installed-so 2 days for this hot mess was very impressive). I've never bought HVAC before so I can't speak on the pricing but everyone I've told said sounds about right, and they walked me through the financing options. Everyone from the owner, to the office worker, to the technicians were amazing and I can't pay them enough compliments. Aside from the amazing work they did of fixing all the old odd installation, and making our home much more comfortable, every technician was super kind and friendly to not just us but also my nosey dogs who wanted to watch all their hard work!

They provide absolutely great service. Anytime I've had a problem they've been out asap without question. Wouldn't choose anyone else for my hvac service

Vern came by on (9.8.25) and conducted the yearly furnace maintenance. Thank goodness it was still functioning for how old it is.
Received a quote for an upgraded unit & new air conditioning system. He was very professional and knowledgeable as always.

Summit is hands down the best in the Valley any issue i have I call they are here Ricardo is absolutely amazing I love how down to earth he is hes very detailed if your not understanding the office staff and owner are down to earth and great ! 10 stars plus Thank You again Ricardo and Peggy !

Today Ivan came to perform the furnace maintenance he was prompt, polite and professional. Summit has installed and maintained my homes Furnace and AC unit for 31 yrs and I know I can always receive great service with them. Thank you Ivan, and the whole team at Summit Heating and Cooling of Spring Valley.

Summit has been incredible from the beginning till the very end. Peggy was very personable and so was Laura and helped me out a lot and you can tell they very much care about their customers. Ricardo came in and installed everything in a very fast manner and got us up and running again after three months of being without hot water and without a HVAC system I’m extremely grateful to everybody at Summit for their hard work and dedication to the customers. I highly recommend them for any job you need!! Prices are extremely good compared to other competitors in the area and they give top notch customer service!!!

We had a new boiler installed by Vern and Ivan. They did a wonderful job on the install and explaining the basics of the unit. They were very accommodating on the install date. I would recommend them for your heating needs. Thanks Peggy for your help
