Reviews of local pros in Troy, Illinois

I am very pleased with Martin Tree Service's work. Gene and April arrived on time to perform the tree trimming and removal of 2 HUGE oak trees. They were skillful, efficient and extremely professional. The cleanup was immaculate, yard was left spotless. I highly recommend Martin Tree Service's for the job, competitive pricing and EXCELLENT service.

I had 2 good-sized trees come down on my garage roof. Gave Gene a call to have them removed. Gene showed up with 2 guys, and all the equipment needed to get the trees cut up and removed from the roof. It took them about 2 and a half hours to remove and cut up the trees. They did everything I asked of them and more. I would recommend Gene and crew to anyone who needs a tree removed. Thanks, Gene!

Gene was great to work with. Removed a large tree that hung over our house and ground the stump. Trimmed an additional tree. Cleaned up nicely. Price was fair. Made sure we were satisfied with everything.

Came out next day and cleaned up some storm damage and hauled everything away , very professional and quick response and outstanding work would highly recommend

Not only did the man show up, when dealing with a less than favorable situation. He did an GREAT JOB clearing the snow. Pushing the wind rows and aided people digging out the their drive ways to the best he could. Also the man is a VET! Would more could you ask for! Shows up, does the job, does the extra attention to detail, helps his community, and has help the country!

Absolutely an upstanding individual!

Gene did a great job on ensuring our dead tree was removed safely and securely from out back yard and removed a dead evergreen and bush. Would highly recommend Gene and April's business and they communicated well and worked hard to find a good time to remove the trees due to severe rain. Vet owned company too!

With the big snow we had this past week we were pretty much snowed-in. I saw Gene's ad on a Facebook post and was familiar with him from some excellent tree work he did for my daughter this summer, so I called him. My drive is 300 ft. long, with some fairly steep slope, and the snow was deep, so he came out with a larger Skid-steer with a big bucket and cleaned my drive no time- in about 10 minutes.
Gene is a good communicator, will tell you what he can and can't do, and when he can provide his service. He's a working man and good guy.

Martin’s Tree Service cut my two dead trees down between my house and lake. These were deadfall trees and without a skilled tree cutter, could’ve landed on my house or my brand new deck and had disastrous results. Through no fault of their own (Heavy spring rains), the project was delayed. Once it dried up, Martin’s Tree Service showed up, and got the trees dropped and bucked into logs (at my request, I wanted the firewood). I then had them come back out to grind my stumps. A few months later and you can’t even tell where the trees were! Very reasonable price compared to other estimates received. I can’t recommend Martin’s Tree Service enough!

We have had them for several months and inconsistent cleaning each time. We tried to make it work this last time but just couldn’t.

They came on short notice and did an excellent job. Our family has been using Linda’s Maid Services for years now and each time they go above and beyond our expectations.

Great cleaning crew! We get 5 ladies and in 45 minutes, our house is back to a spotless home! Call them and get on their schedule. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly discussed the project before and during the process. Never cut corners. Very detail oriented. We threw a couple of additional ideas at Luke & Ben during the process and they were able to adapt on the fly. Kept the work site clean. Always a very positive attitude. Genuinely wanted us to be satisfied—and we are!

Eden did an amazing job of turning my vision of a path/patio though the woods into reality. They have a great eye for design and we're very professional and easy to work with.
