Did not get further than a phone call. Couldn't get to me in the schedule. I fixed my own hot water heater. I know I'm old but I thought he could have been a little bit pleasant. I was stressed as it was.

Tiger told me I had several gas leaks (propane) and quoted $3700. Neil came over and fixed the gas leak for $155. Buyer Beware! Thank you Neil! I truly appreciate your integrity!

Tom knows he's doing. Very experienced did all the work and was done quickly. He had all the parts we needed. Very satisfied and would highly recommend him.
-
Very responsive! Was in & out in less than an hour! I was so worried about the cost, but they did a great job for a great price. & Made recommendations to keep system flowing. Very nice!

Not professional at all, if they fix pipes the way they drive I wouldn’t want them in my home at all. Watched the driver of the company van get into a road rage fit with another car. Then to top it all off the employee was cursing, spitting and using hand jesters at the stop light to said car. What ever happened between the two of them didn’t call for that level of disrespect.

Todd was great, he had my water heater replaced in under 2 hours. The water heater works great now and my family feels more secure knowing the water heater was installed by a true craftsman.

Great service. Prompt professional. Have used Neals for about 15 years, always does good work. Independent, local small business has come within an hour to fix plumbing inbetween other jobs on his lunch time. Highly recommend.

Called multiple plumber's in the area. Tom was the only one that was able to come that day, and his prices was better than other quote's i received. He came with a good attitude and a willingness to get the job done fast.
We will definitely use Neal's Plumbing again in the future. -
Neal's Plumbing came to my house to replace simple Shower Trim and Pressure Valve "I had new kit assembly" Tom charged me for 1 1/2 hours work. He walked about 20 times back and forth out to his truck getting things. The cost was $175.00 for visit. Just as bad as Tiger Plumbing!
Don't Recommend! -
Excellent work. Tom was the exact opposite of the plumber that screwed us over (Davinroy). He was very professional and got the job done in a hurry - and everything was perfect. I highly recommend using Neal's Plumbing.

Outstanding service! Called on a weekend morning for a leak in a copper pipe. Neal's arrived, replaced the pipe and were done within 20 minutes! He gave me a military discount also! Thanks!

I will NEVER be calling them ever again. Our water heater went out on Saturday morning, they could get to us on Monday. No big deal. They showed up, told us we had to call the company and order the parts to fix the thermocouple and left. I called a different company, this new company came to our home, called the tech company, sat on hold, did multiple diagnostic tests to find out it wasn’t even the thermocouple.

If I could leave no stars I would. I am all about using local businesses but will never use them ever again!
1. Tom (no mask entire time) shows up and walks right in without introducing himself
2. (Our water heater was leaking) Tom says yeah idk and starts replacing the water heater. Did not even know what's wrong with or try to see if the water heater needed to be replaced.
3. Does not make sure the pressure is released from the expansion tank (set at 75psi) starts taking it off water is sprayed all over the place and my husband had to ask are you going to clean it up. It sprayed so much water it was on our rafters, walls, all over the floor and items on our shelves.
4. He starts to to remove the water tank. We had worked hard on sealing and painting the concrete in our basement. He did not bring a dolly to help move the heater he drags it across the floor ruining our floor. He empties the water tank into our sump pump 3 ft away so water is all over the floor.
5. As the water heater is being hauled out he does NOT cap it and allows the water to run out all the way up the carpeted stairs and out our wood floor foyer.
6. he Decided to not cut the 12ft pipe and tries to carry down the stairs hitting the walls and then stops, laughs and says " I guess it is too long to make the turn down the stairs. Cuts it outside. he did not cut the pipe enough outside and cuts it over our sump pump Leaving shavings in our sump pump.
7. After he is all done it took my husband and myself 45 minutes to clean the walls, floor and the inside of or sump pump ( lovely calcium build up due to Troy water was all at the bottom along with pipe shavings.)
8. He never even tried to clean up his mess. Did not even bring a wet vacuum with him.
Overall very very unprofessional!!
By the way Tom (as he said) is the owner if that tells you anything! -
We have used Neal’s plumbing two times now and both have been wonderful. We compared prices and they were cheaper than several others. Not the cheapest but like with most things, to an extent you get what you pay for. They even came out a third time just to see if a leak was on our end or the city’s and then reported the leak for us saving me the trouble.

Called Neal’s plumbing to plumb for a shower after I removed our tub and replaced the toilet flange. Todd showed up like I man on a mission, he was a machine, in and out in no time. Price was very fair and will call them on any future needs.

Guys were nice, quick, and courteous. However,, they charged a steep premium for their service. ($440 for less than an hour job with $20 in parts). Additionally when they turned my water back on I wasn't aware I would be slapped with a $50 fine from O'Fallon for tampering with the lines. So came close to $500 when initially over the phone with the guy I was quoted under $250.
Otherwise, water works, all seems fine so can't complain about the actual job itself. -
I had them out before for a sewer issue. Let's call it a river of... One of the bigger named companies took one look and was out the door saying we'll call with an estimate, took 4 days. Tom did more than look and saw a cap had come off. Cleared the line and replaced the cap. Thankfully it want worse. This last time was a simple floor drain clog, but that drain serviced the house. Quick and doesn't mix words. Price was reasonable too.

FIVE STARS, way above and beyond service!!! Professional, nice, and exceptional in every way. Todd was fantastic. He was efficient. He put new parts in and fixed it well. I would definitely recommend him. No games with crazy pricing. Honest and straight forward. Don't think twice because you won't regret it. You will be amazed.

Used them several times. They will come the same day and not overcharge. They do good work.
