My Bosch dishwasher stopped working recently, which was still covered by my product warranty. The company I bought the dishwasher from dispatched service through Appliance-Mend. Michael was prompt, professional and was able to repair my appliance in no time.

Michael was amazing. Very informative. Prompt. Incredibly professional. I will be recommending him to friends and family who have appliance repair needs.

Mike gave me an accurate estimate, was right on time, explained the estimates charges clearly & repaired my washing machine, gave me a few care tips & was in his way. Very polite and I’m getting my laundry caught up as I type this! Thank you!

Michael came to my house after being contacted by my oven manufacturer, Cosmo. He came out to my house for a fee to diagnose what was wrong with my oven. He accepted the job and told Cosmo what parts were needed to fix the oven. After the parts arrived at my house, he attempted to fix my oven on Monday. After he pulled my oven out to the middle of my kitchen, removed the back of my oven, and removed the inside of my oven, he proceeded to tell me he cannot get the oven door off or the top of the stove so he will have to come back as he was not able to get in contact with Cosmo. He left my house leaving everything in the middle of my kitchen (very unprofessional). Wednesday he came back after speaking with Cosmo, he attempted to fix the oven again. Michael then tells me he is not able to fix my oven and the stove top does not work, which worked prior to him touching it. He later proceeds to try to fix the oven and stovetop. After several hours, Michael tells me he is finished and is going to run some things to his van and will be back for payment. The oven was not fixed and now one of my burners were broke. He was very unprofessional and stated he wasted too much time on my oven and lost too much money. He also stated the oven range was better than what it was; which it was not because now my oven knob falls off and 1 of my burners is broken. Then Michael proceeded to say he will no longer work on Cosmo appliances again. Michael then stated to keep the bill and left my house with everything still broken.

Mike was able to get me on his schedule next day and did a great job diagnosing what the problem was. He had the parts with him and did the repair quickly and efficiently! Absolutely recommend!!

We had a temperature regulating issue on one of our stovetop burners. He was very responsive, making us aware that parts needed to be ordered, and as soon as they came in he got us on the schedule to deal with the problem. Took a couple of attempts that were not any fault of his own (thanks, Whirlpool for being complicated), but now the issue is completely fixed! Reasonable prices, timely responses, very professional.

Michael repaired my washer the same day I called him. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Communicated costs upfront. Wow! A breath of fresh in the middle of a stressful situation with a broken appliance in a busy household. Will definitely call him back in the future. Thank you!!!

I'm pretty sure my refrigerator is original to my house making it about 15 years old. When water started leaking out the housing for the water/ice dispenser I thought I'd have to buy a new refrigerator which was not in my budget. I was connected to Michael. I called on a Sunday with the expectation he'd call me Monday. Nope! He called me back Sunday evening. We made arrangements for him to come over.

On Tuesday he confirmed our appointment for later in the day via text. Then later in the afternoon he reached out again because he was able to get me in earlier. Great! He came over and went right to work.

I was impressed he was able to recognize the problem right away (ice maker) and after making a simple adjustment it has been fine since. YEAH!!

Then he asked "While I am here is there anything else you want me to take a look at?" I actually loved this because there were other appliance issues I was having, I just wasn't thinking of them because I thought the fridge was the most important part. So then he figures out a problem I've been having with my gas stove, orders the part, and shows me how to install it myself.

Recap: He returned my phone call quickly. He set a timely appointment and then got me in even quicker. He explained what was wrong with the ice maker as he fixed it and then asked about other appliances so that I wouldn't pay another service fee for having to call him out again. I WILL use his again.

Michael/Appliance-Mend came highly recommended by Harres Appliance in Columbia IL to repair my GE Café dishwasher. He responded within minutes to my inquiry and was able to come out the following week. He arrived on time and diagnosed the problem. He informed me of my choices and talked through them (fix or replace). I chose to fix, so he ordered parts and explained next steps. The parts arrived quicker than he expected, and he was ready to install within a couple of days. He installed the parts, gave me tips on how to take good care of it, and worked cleanly. He asked if I had questions about the dishwasher or any other appliances. I like that he did this both times that he was here; it gave me a chance to ask operational questions about my other appliances. He was patient and took time to help me, even though it wasn't going to result in additional work for him. He really cares, is professional, reasonable, and skillful.

In March 2023, we needed a kitchen range converted from natural gas to propane. He responded quickly to our inquiry. Arrived promptly, completed conversation & installation including checking for leaks & testing each burner & oven. He was professional & friendly, good value for services.

Michael is very professional, quick, and friendly. Answered all of my questions, got our service in a timely manner, arrived on time, and is very knowledgeable in his craft. I will certainly be contacting him for any future appliance repair needs! Highly recommend.

Wanted to give it 5 stars but I couldn't because of the price. I was charged $266 for parts (roller kit) and labor. Add $100 for the service call. $366 for about 35 minutes of work. I almost cried. However, if you don't care about money, this guy is for you. Very professional, nice, on time, informational etc. Very good. Thank you for fixing the dryer..

I highly recommend! Michael was very professional and has fantastic customer service skills. I was mentally prepared to hear that I needed a new dishwasher, and he found the issue within minutes and only charged for a service call. And then asked if he could look at anything else for me while he’s here at no charge! Luckily nothing else is currently broken, but you just don’t see that kind of service these days. Call this guy…you won’t regret it!

We were referred to Michael/Appliance-Mend by a friend/coworker. Michael was very responsive to my initial message and super honest about his fees. He tried to walk me through a few things over the phone before we scheduled a service call. He was EARLY for our appointment and after checking things out made his honest recommendations about whether fixing the refrigerator was the right thing to do or to buy a new one. I would recommend Michael/Appliance-Mend in a heart beat and will call him for future needs as well.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and professionalism provided by Michael. He returned my call promptly, was able to come to my home to diagnose the problem, give me an estimate and order the part within hours. When the part came in, he was back within 2 days to get it fixed. Very neat and considerate to show me what he was replacing and to be sure to call him if I have any other problems.

My experience with Appliance-Mend was fantastic. I called Michael about my noisy dryer based on the good reviews and was very happy I did. He arrived on time, was very professional and even saved me some $ by installing a kit rather than selling the individual parts. I will definitely call him next time I am in need of appliance repair!

100% recommend. He fixed my LG Washer and LG Oven. Great communication via text (my preferred method). Arrival time window was always accurate. Repair time was also accurately provided. He spent time to clearly explain what was wrong with my oven and washer; answered all my trivial questions with patience. Cost for repairs was very reasonable and the repair bill is itemized per appliance.

**As a woman, I absolutely recommend because Michael never made me feel uncomfortable, and was fantastic about answering questions. I Never felt inferior when discussing repairs and if it is best to repair or just buy new. For my appliances, we were able to repair for significantly less than new replacements. My washer is cleaning clothes far better than it has in years!

Michael did a fantastic job fixing our LG oven. Within an hour, he diagnosed it, quoted, discussed and fixed it. He was very prompt, super patient with our dog and even brought a goodie bag. He shares his knowledge willingly and takes the time to discuss and answer questions afterwards. I highly recommend him.
