Constraction reviews in Waterloo, Illinois

They did an excellent job with our basement. Couldn’t be happier and would hire them again. Carlos’ work ethic is unmatched.

We have nothing but GREAT things to say about this company.Had them install a tile back splash in our kitchen. From the first phone call to the job completion they are "attention to detail" type of people. We are impressed with their quality of workmanship and professionalism. We will be using them again in future projects.

Cornerstone kept all of their promises! Their finished product was better than I could even imagine! I will have more work done with them in the future. God bless!

Carlos does beautiful work and I am very happy with all the projects he has completed. I highly recommend him to anyone who is needing work done or a vision they have. 5 stars all the way!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company! They are very hardworking. Their work is very thorough and they pay close attention to detail. I would recommend Cornerstone to anybody looking to renovate or remodel. They do great work! 🙂

Cornerstone Construction did an outstanding job on our front porch/patio concrete slab. They had pricing that could not be beat, and they were able to complete the job quickly so that we could use this area as soon as possible. Carlos paid attention to every detail we wanted, and worked carefully and skillfully to make things turn out just as planned. I highly recommend this company.

We are SO impressed with Cornerstone Construction! They did the most beautiful brick work. True craftsmanship and attention to detail. I personally appreciated that they were not only willing to work with reclaimed materials, but valued the history and quality of them (we are working on a 150+ year old homestead so this is really important to me). We are excited to work with them more in the future!

Brittany and Carlos will treat you like you’re part of their family. I became friends with them over the course of my bathroom’s remodel. Between Brittany’s eye for design and Carlos’ dependable, honest team, Cornerstone Construction is the surefire choice for your contracting needs in the Metro East. Founded on Christian beliefs, you will get honest answers! As they became friends with me, they got to see me get saved by God’s grace, while helping me save costs! 🙌🏻

Cornerstone Construction did a wonderful job! Our entry way turned out great! We highly recommend using them!

Cornerstone Construction & Co does excellent work. They stained our deck and did a beautiful job! They take pride in the work they do and it shows it. As well as being very trust worthy. We would highly recommend this company! We will definitely use them again for any home construction needs that will need to be done in our future! Carlos and his family are friendly and very professional.

They did an amazing job! They listen to you, the quality of work they do is outstanding and they communicate with you the entire time. I highly recommend them and we will be having them come back for additional work needed around the house.

Cornerstone did an outstanding job replacing our deck. They were great to watch build it and to talk to. I love listening to the Good Christian music while working. I woud recommend them for any construction work.

We had a full kitchen remodel done with all new cabinets, counters, floors, and lighting. Carlos took his time and really paid attention to detail making sure it turned out exactly as we envisioned it. We changed our minds on some details along the way and he adjusted without any problem. Our happiness was his goal and we are very thankful for him and all his help.

The double composite deck that Cornerstone built for us exceeds our expectations. Brittney and Carlos were so wonderful to work with during the entire project. Carlos and his team are reliable, hard working and skilled contractors. They gave us a completion date and met it. We will definitely consider using Cornerstone on our next project!

Carlos and Brittany are the best.
I hired them to build me a new patio and porch for my walkout basement. I also wanted a new patio behind my house to get rid of old nasty deck. They not only met my expectations but they seriously exceeded them greatly. I could not be more happy with how it turned out. Carlos and his crew are fabulous. Extremely hard working young men that make sure everything is done to detail. I already have them coming back next year for more work. I highly recommend them.

Cornerstone Construction did top notch work on our staircase and bedroom addition to the basement. Brittany was extremely professional and honest with her estimate, and the final cost did not stray too much. Brittany approached every visit and conversation with our satisfaction in mind and her affable personality was always present. Carlos did amazing work and was extremely swift and polite during every visit to our home. Our questions were met with straightforward honest answers and we were never mislead about timelines or costs. Carlos and his team were all very respectful when entering and exiting the home and their communication was very prompt and efficient. We will definitely be working with Cornerstone Construction again during our next home renovation project.

We couldn't be happier with our basement remodel! From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. The Cornerstone team was not only incredibly professional but also so flexible and adaptable in bringing my vision to life. They really listened to what we wanted and turned it into a reality beyond our expectations. The craftsmanship was truly exceptional and the quality of their work was outstanding.

We now have a gorgeous basement that includes a beautiful living space, a bedroom with an egress window, a cozy office space, two spacious walk-in closets, and a super stylish, bougie bathroom that we absolutely love.

Their kindness and professionalism really stood out, and their accommodating nature made the whole process a breeze. Huge thanks to them for making our basement dreams come true!
We highly recommend and already have them on the schedule for our next project!

These people are so bad. The house they were building for us appraised for $90,000 under what it cost . It wasn't even the add ons. It appraised for less than the base price. They kept our $10,000 deposit. They have no ethics. I can not express just how bad these people are. If I could rate them 0 stars I would .

Do NOT trust this company. They do NOT keep their word nor promises. And with their high turnover rate of employees the person you're working with won't be there next month.
Do not trust them....make them put it into writing; do NOT sign-off on the house until everything is exactly how you want it; because they will NOT.
