I had an excellent experience from start to finish with Lucky 7 Tree Service! Matt is very honest, personable, and responsive, and his team was prompt, efficient, and took a lot of care as I had branches and limbs hanging over my roof. They cleaned and cleared everything, and the price was fair and reasonable. Also – something that was super important to me – their focus is on tree health and care (vs. clearing it all just because). It’s also great to be able to support a local business that cares about trees in our community, which neighbors referred me to. They did a fabulous job and I am looking forward to working with them for future tree and planting projects! Hooray for Lucky 7!

I have been a customer of Kramer Tree Specialists for over 10 years. They have done everything for me from fixing my flag pole to trimming my trees and putting up and taking down Christmas decorations. Jeff Kramer is a true professional who has the personnel equipment and knowledge to handle anything that has to do with your trees or Christmas decorations. I highly recommend them!

Called for an estimate and was told they would come by within the week. One week later called back and was told the estimate wasn’t done yet but they would have it done right away. Still waiting for the estimate but already have someone scheduled to do the work who actually showed up to give the estimate.

Kramer Tree came out and removed (2) large silver maples & ground the stumps from our backyard. Their crews showed up as scheduled, and they were very professional and hard working. I can't say enough good things about this company, excellent work!

We had 9 large trees and 2 bushes cleared from an open lot.
Jeff was not only very competitive in pricing, but a delight to work with. All questions were answered very promptly. I was kept informed as to the removal date and the crew arrived as scheduled and on time. Safety and professionalism were obviously very important with all those working.
Betsy, in the office, was very responsive to all our needs and a big help in our planning.
Jeff Kramer is also a certified arborist which is so important in the care of our trees.

Kramer is my go-to for tree work. Their employees are courteous, neat and thorough and always do a great job. It's comforting to know that I have a reliable tree service to use when I need one.

Kramer did a very excellent job removing four dead trees. The work was professionally done The workers were great and cleaned up when finished. The willow was near power lines and Kramer had to coordinate with ComEd. The power was off for less than two hours.

They also do a great job treating my ash trees and a burr oak tree.

Kramer Tree Specialists, Inc. is absolutely the BEST!!!! They came when they said they would, they removed a huge tree in my back yard, cut it up and hauled it away, and returned later to grind the stump. Once completed, you would have never know they were there. Extremely professional workers who performed quality work in a timely fashion. I paid a little more than other companies, but I got a lot more in value. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thanks KTS

A maple tree in the parkway in front of my house had been mutilated by ComEd pruning around the electrical wires. Kramer was able to take out dead limbs and rebalance the tree so that it is healthier and much more pleasing to the eye. Service was timely and efficiently done. They also cleaned everything up better than before.

I can't say enough about Kramer and their professionalism throughout the experience. I went through conversations with several other tree companies with less than ideal results, even having to fire one after they came out with the wrong equipment and refused to do the job as contracted.

Kramer, by contrast, was the most knowledgeable, explaining their reasoning behind the work the work they were proposing and working with us to get the scope and price to where it needed to be. They were also the only company that coordinated with the power company to perform the work safely.

The crew on-site was extremely polite and professional. The crew members were happy to entertain any questions and requests while completing the work. The tree we had removed branched out over several neighbors yards, and they managed to complete the work without any disruption to the neighbors whatsoever.

Kramer Tree Specialists pruned 2 large Pin Oaks for me and I could not be happier with the whole experience. I am thrilled to have someone going forward that I can feel confident in. The Arborist i met with, Andy, walked me through exactly what they would do, and why (= be moderate in any pruning of live branches as Pin Oaks are extremely sensitive). The crew that came out was amazing. They each had 15-20 yrs experience and were just flat out impressive to watch. They did a completely meticulous job.

I had my trees pruned 5 yrs ago by another well know local company, but the end result wasn’t even close to this (they missed several large dead branches for one thing). Our trees are dormant, but already look so much healthier, you can just tell. . I am very excited for this summer!

We contracted Kramer Tree Specialists to trim a couple of our trees. A team of three, went about their business in a professional manner. The team was friendly, personable, and respectful. When the job was completed, our trees looked great! We certainly would contract them again when needed.

We've used them for years for hazard trim with 4 large oaks and always very satisfied. The crew just removed a very old, difficult-to get-to, property-line bordering mulberry tree - every member perfect, efficient, mastering working in unison. Would highly recommend. Very knowledgeable.

I can't say enough great things about the service Kramer Tree Specialists provided- they were reasonably priced, on time, thorough, left our yard free of debris (and we had A LOT of work done). The crew was terrific in communicating with us. From the initial quote to the discussions with the front office to the work crew, we had a wonderful experience!!

Kramer pruned two large black walnut trees and a couple aborvitae adjacent to our home. Obtaining an evaluation and estimate from the arborist and scheduling service was very efficient; the 4-man crew did an outstanding job, was responsive, and meticulously cleaned up all the trimmings. The trees look much better and the risk to the house from storm damage is significantly reduced. Professional job all around.

The crew arrived at the specific time frame on time and did a GREAT job. They removed all trim work and left my yard and the trees looking perfect. I have used Kramer Tree Specialists for some time and highly recommend them.

The crew that removed the undesired shrub did a very thorough job as it had spread quite a distance from the parent plant.The job included spraying the cleared space with an herbicide to eliminate its return. The crew chief said that due to the extensive area, spraying with a back pack was preferable to the sprayer he had. Ryan came the next day and did a very thorough job of spraying the cleared area with the herbicide. The hickory tree was pruned to shorten the lower branches that made mowing difficult. The trimming crew did an amazing job of clean-up as I found only a few small pieces of plants.

I have used Kramer Tree for 30 years for various projects such as those listed above, plus tree removal and pruning of mature trees requiring a climber. I am always impressed with their employees and the work that is done. They are professional, knowledgeable, and safe. I have received compliments on how good the three mature shagbark hickories in my yard look. I owe it all to Kramer.

We needed root pruning before construction could begin and Miguel did a great job. He went above and beyond the call to be here when the construction schedule necessitated. Kramer is our first choice for tree services!
