Salinas & Sons just finished installing our sprinkler system and we couldn’t be happier with their professionalism & care for our project. The entire team has been amazing to work with! They listened to what we wanted, made suggestions & designed the best system for our home. I would recommend this company to anyone! We love this is a family owned business and it shows by their excellent customer service!

Salinas & Sons are a very professional company. They gave us the best estimate of all the companies we contacted. They worked with us to provide what we needed for HOA approval, even over the weekend. The day of installation was very rainy and cool. They worked almost nonstop. We needed a couple of adjustments and they responded quickly. The office staff is also excellent. They responded quickly to any questions we had and followed up to assure we were satisfied.
We love our system and highly recommend Salinas & Sons for lawn irrigation services.

I contracted with Salinas and sons after getting 5 bids. Family run company with very dedicated , customer service friendly people. They were very competitive from a price standpoint and guided me the entire way on the install. Day of install went very well and took 1.5 days. Afterwards they walked me through the zones, trained me on the timer and override feature and even replaced my 30yo water main shut off value with a modern day ball joint value. I would highly recommend them for your sprinkler installation project and plan to contract with them for annual maintenance.

Salinas and Sons did a great job with our sprinkler instillation. We were happy with how courteous and efficient their team was. They also did a nice job cleaning up after they were done. Sprinklers are working great and our laws looks wonderful.

We hired Salinas and Sons to install a new sprinkler system. They were very responsive and answered all of my questions. They were able to obtain the permit quickly and immediately scheduled installation with us. The crews arrived in full force the morning of installation, and we reviewed the project to ensure obstacles would be avoided. Every crew member was polite and kind, wanting to ensure proper installation and answer our questions. Once the system was installed, they discussed system operation with my wife. They use Hydrawise for the sprinkler system, making it easy to use and adjust. I would use Salinas and Sons again without question and highly recommend them.

We had a sprinkler system installed in March 2025. The entire process was seamless - from the initial appointment for the estimate to the installation of the system, and for a follow-up for an adjustment. Everyone has been so friendly and efficient from the owner of the company, the technicians and the office staff. Neighbors the day after the system was installed could not even tell that a sprinkler system had been put in our yard as our lawn looked perfect. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. They did a great job with our walkway. Everyone was nice and helpful. Very professional!

if your wondering why there always late it’s because they drive 10 miles under the speed limit only going 25 in a 35, literally don’t leave your building if you don’t know how to drive

These people are not lawn professionals. They just know how to run lawnmowers and whack bushes. They just destroyed our beautiful garden. Their failure to return multiple phone calls makes me wonder how customer focused they are.

I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS IF I COULD. While on a run, my girlfriend was catcalled and relentlessly chased down by two of their workers in their car. I don’t want to blame the company as a whole, but THIS IS NOT OKAY.

This is not a lawn care company, it is a Lawn Tear company.

In the warm weather they drive lawn mowers in the rain leaving bare mud tire marks, bare mud skid marks on the grass and track mud all over the sidewalk.

In the winter they drive snow plows with no regards for the border of driveways and sidewalks and lawn tearing up and pushing grass beneath the plow.

Try talking to the company employees and they pretend not to understand english.

Not even worth hiring if they offered to work free.

Cypress has been our landscaping and snow removal company for four years. We chose Cypress because our townhouse community was twenty years old, and we needed expert help rejuvenating our landscaping. Cypress has not disappointed us. Besides the normal maintenance, they have done several major projects for us, the last one completed in December.
Two buildings required tree and shrub removals, buried downspouts (done by hand to avoid cable lines), drain installation, laying sod and mulching beds. The results are beautiful, and we are so happy we undertook this renovation. Cypress was prompt in scheduling, adhered to the schedule (as weather permitted!), and completed on time. Importantly, the crew was meticulous in their cleanup, including sodding areas damaged by their heavy equipment.
We have found Cypress to be honest, to have fair pricing, and to be available for questions or walk-throughs. I highly recommend their service.

This review is for the way the driver of the truck gave me the finger for not going over the speed limit on North Ave in West Chicago. She then turned down Birch Bark and was going way too fast in a neighborhood where children are at play. Not a way to represent a company. Sorry for the bad review

If I could give it zero stars I would. This company is hired by our association, to which, they show up when they feel like it, and leave our area a mess (see pictures). On numerous occasions, they will "cut" the grass, and then leave the clippings everywhere. The association reaches out, they promise they'll come back, and then never do. They supposedly don't do services in the rain, I guess their tools aren't up to standard considering every other landscaping company is out in other subdivisions in the pouring rain. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK.

DO NOT USE! I am a real estate investor who used him and have finally had enough. I original though he was a lifesaver, being able to take over a lawn on short notice, however he kept raising the price consistently and gave several excuses as to why the price kept going up. I still continued to use him as finding someone else took time and effort until the price literally was double to mow the lawn from the first time I used him. At that point I had enough. His work was shaky at best, as he didn’t pay attention to detail and you could tell that he was just out for easy money. I don’t have time to pass by my property’s to check his work, he knew it and took advantage of the situation!
