Miguel and his team spent a good 12 hours working at our home, doing landscaping cleanup, tree and bush trimming, removal of ivy growth on side of our house, edging and installation of mulch, etc. They did an excellent job and we highly recommend them

We were very pleased with Chips and Sticks. The guys removed a huge double oak tree as well as a smaller oak and a walnut tree. It was a big job! Unfortunately, to get the larger oak down a favorite redbud tree was damaged but Carlos has offered to find us another one from a nursery to replace the one we lost. He understood how important the redbud was to us. From the beginning, Carlos and his crew were professional, prompt, respectful of our property and cleaned up the areas very well.

We had the unfortunate experience of having our largest oak tree fall on our back deck and part of our home on Saturday evening. We called Sticks N Chips first thing Sunday morning and they came out in the pouring rain within hours to take a look at the tree and give us an estimate. Miguel and the team were great and of all the quotes we received, Sticks N Chips was the best price for an emergency removal and they were here first thing Monday morning cutting the entire tree up and removing it from the backyard. The team that came to look at the tree Sunday was the exact same team that came Monday morning.

We also plan to use Sticks N Chips for an upcoming landscaping project and we're looking forward to working with them again. Would highly recommend!

I'm always impressed with this company. I've been using them for years for everything from tree trimming, edging, mulch, flower bed clean out, and lawn services. Today, they came out and did mulch, edging, and flower bed clean out. It looks AMAZING. They were able to fit me in a few days earlier than expected. The price was great and they were very friendly. They are very responsive whenever I call them and are dependable. I never have to worry about anything when I use them. I couldn't be happier with the work they did today and I plan on using them in the future for the couple of trees I need cut down and my other landscaping needs.

Sticks n chips are the best! Carlos came out right away to provide me a quote. They are reasonably priced, and will provide honest feedback.

I had them remove a massive maple tree only few feet away from my house and extended over my roof. This huge tree was also located in between two power lines!

I had a face chord of mixed hardwood delivered and stacked to my Elgin residence. I told them that I’ve had problems before with other places delivering wood that was too long for my fireplace. They assured me they would be sure the pieces were the right size and they delivered on their promise.

Carlos and his team did an excellent job of spade edging as well as spreading 12 yards of mulch across all the beds. He was kind enough to accommodate and squeeze the job in right away as my surgery date had been moved up.

Everyone from their team was very kind, professional and respectful. They all worked hard, efficiently and greatly impressed me after finishing the job in approximately three hours. All the mulch was distributed evenly, followed the existing grades and raked over the top so it had a smooth appearance. They were very respectful of all my plantings - even down to the smallest perennials. No plants were damaged, stepped on or “manhandled” in any way.

I was especially impressed by the deep spade edging they worked hard to dig along the spray paint lines I laid down. Some beds were made a little larger which required some sod and soil removal however that didn’t faze them. The bed lines turned out perfectly with their expert help!

In addition, Carlos’s pricing was very reasonable for the services rendered. It was very competitive with the market however for the service quality and the job results, it was an excellent price and very much worth it. Those men earned every penny they made that day with all that hard work.

For my review I would conclude that the work Carlos and his team performed above ranks the best above all other past landscape contractors I have used. That is saying a lot as I do not write, nor hand out, good reviews often - only when they are truly earned.

I would definitely and highly recommend Carlos and his team to both my family and my friends - and I plan on using their services again in the future.

They did an amazing job at trimming my crabapple tree. It was damaged in a storm, very lopsided. I was considering taking it out. After trimming, it looks like a new tree. I highly recommend Sticks n Chips. I will definitely use them again.
