Davey’s team did a great job in trimming the black walnut tree that was overextending onto my backyard and cutting the old maple tree along with grinding its stump and roots. After the job was done, they cleaned up all the debris very nicely to my satisfaction. They were very professional in their dealings with all parties involved. Before starting the job Benjamin Par made sure to notify my next door neighbor, and asked for the his permission to work on the black walnut tree which resides on his property. I greatly appreciated that. Davey Tree also contacted Diggers Hotline to locate all major underground utilities before grinding the stumps and roots to ensure no damages are done. They are very professional, straightforward, and thorough in their dealings. If I should need any services in the future, I would be sure to contact them again.

Outstanding. We had two large and two small trees removed. Little trace of activity save the ground stumps which were left at ground level as stated in their proposal. They coordinated with our electricity provider to cut power in the neighborhood and instigated the permit process. Every contact with this company was very courteous with clear communication!

We have worked with Davey for many decades now. As in the past, they are knowledgeable and understand how important our trees are to us. This last visits was for trimming and pruning. They were efficient, accurate and did a great job with clean up.

I requested to removed a tree and the damage they caused to my grass is unbelievable. Now I will need to pay a landscaping co. to fix this problem. I have videos and pictures of how was my grass before and how they left my front yard. I will never recommend it! Bad, bad job quality!! Will the sales person he assured us that the work would be of quality and it was quite the opposite!

Everything went smoothly, almost. When I scheduled the tree trimming I requested to be notified in advance. I told the arborist that I requested the same thing the last time the tree was trimmed and was not notified. So I was a little surprised when a person was ringing my doorbell and let me know they were here to trim the tree. Once again no advance notification. It might not have been an issue if some of my family weren't coming over. They were forced to get to my house in a somewhat dangerous situation. I don't understand why a simple request can't be carried out. It's called customer service.

Had pruning done on a mature maple tree as well as other shrubs that have gotten a little overgrown. Work was done efficiently and professionally. The team worked well together and did a great job. Cleaned up and left no residual mess. Employees are always professional and courteous. I have used Davey for a number of years and will continue to do so as long as we are in the home.

Thomas is a great rep. He is knowledgeable and caring. I'm posting pictures of my viburnum before it was trimmed and after. I am extremely unhappy with the trimming that was done and Thomas is working to make it right for me. I have never had problems with them in the past and I look forward to a continued relationship.

Had a couple trees fall down during a recent storm. Called Montoya first thing in the morning- they arrived within 30 minutes to assess and by 10:30am both trees & stumps had been removed. Kind, professional, and timely. Would highly recommend!

Thought my tree was dead, they told me it just needed to be pruned. Good guys to work with.

No longer respond to emails and calls, must be out of business or very unprofessional.... or they just don’t care about loyal customers who have given them over $12k for their work over the past 5 years.

Had them come out to remove tree stumps from my back yard. They worked with my schedule, and did all six stumps without issue. Everyone was friendly and did their best to not damage anything.

Avoid Montoya - horrible service and follow-through. They were hired to trim trees bordering our property and our neighbor's...they did half of the agreed scope of work, left a couple of hours into the job and never returned. Numerous attempts to get them to finish the job have gone unanswered. Extremely unprofessional.
