Tree reviews in Wheeling, Illinois

VHP removed a tree stump, its root system, leveled the area, and planted grass seed for me. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The quote was incredible and the work they did inspired me to fix my lawn. It was green again within 3ish weeks. I will use them again in the future for all my landscaping projects.

Victor and his crew are outstanding! They removed 6 very large trees with great skill and care, and left my property spotless when done. Excellent service at a very reasonable price. Thanks, Victor. I am so pleased!!

Victor and crew did an amazing job. They were on time, professional, and exceeded expectations. Trimmed three large trees, dig out shrubs and put sod and mulch down. The crew was extremely nice and went above and beyond our expectation. We will definitely be using them again.

I had a tree that had really started to lean over in direction of the house. They did a great job, very happy.

Victor and his team did a great job on a complicated job in our backyard in the city. Large tree in a small backyard surrounded by power lines that spanned 3 city lots. He and his team were on time, communicative, did an excellent job cleaning up, and charged the most competitive rate. Very pleased with him and will use him again in the future.

We hired VHP to cut down our tree since they gave us the best rates around! Not only did they cut the tree down they made sure to remove all the roots which was phenomenal! We had lacked on calling 811 before their first arrival so they just cut the tree down however after that we called 811 to set up an appointment and VHP was very attentive on checking in with us to see if 811 had checked us out and when they finally did they came right away! Amazing service! Above and beyond!

I had a huge maple tree removed from my front yard. When I had the lawn redone with new sod, I noticed that some of the tree trunk still remained. (It wasn't visible until lawn was prepped for sod.). Victor came back and took care of this so that my new lawn looks amazing! He cared to complete the work and did a great job!! I highly recommend his company. I've had other work done for twice the cost and not as satisfied. Good job Victor, Rene, and their crew!!!

Victor and his crew did a great job. When i called VHP, Victor came over to give us an estimate on the same day, within a few hours. He promptly texted me an estimate. More great work done by VHP! Victor Hugo has a great team of experienced, hard workers! They, expertly, worked again, on our Siberian Elm. And don't forget, these guys do more than trim trees! They, also, planted some beautiful Arborvitae trees! Impressive work, guys, thanks. Fair, reasonable prices, too. Nice guys, no attitudes. Will call them back for future projects. Highly recommend hiring them for ANY landscaping needs

VHP was a pleasure to work with for maintaining our big overflowing mulberry tree. Victor was easy to communicate with and has fair pricing for super quality work. Their clean up was exquisite and left us and our neighbors quite happy.

We hired VHP last fall to remove a large Ash tree and to trim large limbs for a towering Oak that we were concerned might fall on the house. They brought a large crew and did an amazing job removing the tree, the limbs and grinding stump at a very fair price. Victor was a pleasure to work with.

I decided to replace the dead Ash and called VHP. Victor brought a beautiful large well shaped maple today and planted it also at a very fair price. Also, he sourced the tree from Wisconsin so it is used to cold weather. He took great care to place it carefully and line it up with other landscaping. Another great job and I will use them next time I need tree work.

Victor and his crew were amazing! Over the last few years we have used other tree services, spending an incredible amount of money, only to walk away disappointed and feeling like we got taken because they failed to do what committed to.
I am so glad that someone told us about Victor. His crew were mesmerizing to watch as they took down a very old 120+ year old Oak Tree. The tree was located between two homes with not much more than 6 feet free space to the house on one side and 10 feet on the other.
With each branch, I thought for sure that it was going to come down on on one of the houses, but the crew had everything perfectly controlled. Each branch miraculously dropped vertically as it was roped and lowered to the crew at the base of the tree.
They were skilled, fast, polite and cleaned very thoroughly during and after the job.
If there were 10 stars, I would give them a perfect 10! Thank you!

We hired VHP to remove several large trees from our yard, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. Communication was clear, pricing was fair and the work was completed safely and on time. Highly recommend!

Cannot rave enough. They were friendly, extremely professional, quick but thorough. They removed all the branches that fell on our neighbor's roof. The price was $900 less than one of the quotes we received.

Victor and crew were great! Let’s also mention the great prices they have!
We knew exactly what to expect and they were in and out. Can’t wait to pick a tree and have the crew come back!
