Reviews of local pros in Winfield, Illinois

Hans did a great job in wall mounting our TV and fixing some hot water and plumbing issues we were having. I would definitely use him again for additional jobs,

I’ve used Home Fixers for a few projects now. The most recent being a partial bathroom remodel. As in the past, the work Mack did was timely, quality was good and pricing was competitive. This company is great to work with.

Carson was fabulous and did a wonderful professional job with drywall, painting and some caulking. Carson also worked on a stone floor to make it come alive again. Carson was very aware of keeping things clean and picked up everything after he was done.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Home Fixers, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Mack came to my home to replace drywall, door frames, and baseboards, and he did an absolutely outstanding job. His workmanship was precise, clean, and professional. He showed up on time every single day and completed everything with great attention to detail.

The company itself is also a pleasure to work with. Their response time is excellent…any time I called, they answered right away and made the process simple and stress-free. It’s rare to find both skilled craftsmanship and such reliable customer service in one company, but Home Fixers truly delivers on both.

If you’re looking for quality work done right, I highly recommend Mack and the team at Home Fixers!

From start to finish this was a grand slam! The work began as scheduled and ended on time. Especially appreciated the team reviewing the work site with me, explaining in advance how they'll tackle the job and what to expect from the finished product. No surprises, only satisfaction. Great job!

Home fixers was prompt, and kept detailed communication throughout their process. Their work is satisfying and they will continue to be my go to fixers.

Home Fixers has always come through for me when I needed a home repair. Last week “Hans” from home fixers installed a new medicine cabinet for me a did an outstanding job. Thanks again Home Fixers for have such talented workers

Would gladly use them in the future, and plan to. Mack did excellent work in our home and for our church as well. A real professional, polite and a craftsman. Judy is great in the office too. Prompt and friendly communication. Great experience overall.

Let it be know. We have not hired anyone to work on our home in about 20 years. That one time did not go very well and we have been DIY’ers before and since then. So we were very nervous hiring out this time around. We needed crown moulding, toe boards and backsplash tile in our kitchen, all windows caulked, some outdoor trim and flashing replaced and install new shingles on the roof of our shed. Carson and his partner in crime Steve were great. Easy going, social-able, persistent and did great work. Everything turned out great. We are super happy. Carson and Steve have given us faith that we can trust them to do some more work in the future. 🤟👍🤟👍🤟👍

Jorge and his partner did an amazing job removing our old tub/shower & installing our new shower! Great detail to his work & it looks fantastic! I’ve referred many people to Home Fixers. This is our 4th project with this company we will be working with them again this spring.

Had Home Fixers install my new kitchen faucet and they did an awesome job! Quick, clean, and super friendly. Love supporting this veteran-owned business—highly recommend them for any home repairs or installs.

Ramon from Home Fixers did outstanding work on a few projects I needed done. Personable and professional and even managed to save me a couple of bucks to boot. Judy did a great job coordinating as well. Highly recommended

We bought a house and unfortunately the ducting from the exhaust fans were not properly terminated to the exterior of the house. Justin, Judy, and Jorge were all very helpful in the process of providing me with the details and understanding what happened and what needed to happen. I was a bit nervous , but they provided me with reassurance !

This is the second job Jorge and Mr B. Have done for us. They repaired a hole in our kitchen ceiling plaster, the drywall patch they put in is seamless. You can't even tell there was ever a hole. They also did an awesome job installing a bathroom fan and exhaust hose .

I hired Home Fixers Handyman Services to replace a damaged sliding pocket door with a new in-swing door for our powder room. Jorge handled the work and did an excellent job. He arrived early, explained exactly what he was going to do, and then did it professionally. He was also very pleasant and easy to work with. I highly recommend.

Hans gets right to the task with speed and experience. Great job attaching child's furniture to wall , reattching shower door handle, fixing hard-to-reach drawer bracket, removing wired items, patching wall. Promp scheduling, pleasant to deal with Judy, the scheduler. Not recommended for hanging heavy mirrors or pictures but I will have them back for other tasks.

They did a great job on fixing the eves on my house. On one side I had a woodpecker making a hole in the eves and on the other side the wood on the eves just needed replaced. It was done in one day and was reasonably priced!

Hans installed a new mailbox and post. First he had to remove the old mailbox, post, and concrete. He did a great job! Very polite and organized. He cleaned up the whole area and took away the old mailbox, post, concrete, and all the packing material from the new mailbox. All this was completed in 2-1/2 hours. I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve used Home Fixers many times before and once again had a great experience. Ramon replaced the hardware on my bi-fold laundry room doors, rehung them properly, removed some old blinds, and installed new ones in my living room. Everything was done efficiently and with care. Reliable, professional service I’d happily use again!

Top marks for Home Fixers, no question. We'd used them previously for a couple of smaller projects and always liked their professionalism and the fact that they made you feel that no project was too small. Well, this time we went bigger and used them for our master bath remodel, taking a small, old 70s dated bath and turning it into a stylish room we no longer want to avoid. Our contractor Mack Mazurek was wonderful to work with. Hard working, personable, and great attention to detail. His experience was evident and he solved some unique challenges with the remodel and stayed on schedule and on budget. We would absolutely use Home Fixers and Mack again. No shortage of projects!

Hans at Home Fixers did a great job! I set an appointment, Hans came over and quoted me and then finished the work that day. Super convenient and fast! Definitely recommend Home Fixers for your hone project.
