Did duct & vent cleaning for me. FANTASTIC JOB! Very thorough. Also added a nice, fresh scent to the house at the end with a bacterial inhibitor. Highly recommend!!! Avoid the scammers and get these great, local guys!

When my furnace would not come back on after the power outage, Feb. 12, 2019, I contacted Dave Arstrong. He was able to check out my furnace and promptly gave me prices to both repair and replace the HVAC unit. The furnace was fairly old so I decided to have it replaced. Dave was able to get a new unit and replace the original in less than three days. Dave and the install team were professional in every way. I would highly recommend Armstrong HV&A.

July 2025. We had Armstrong's install an AC split on our 3 season porch last year, and they did such a nice job, fast, efficient, and good quality work, that when our main whole house AC died, we called them again. July 2025 they installed a brand new whole house AC unit, state of the art, new remotely controlled whole house thermostat, and new high efficiency whole house furnace. We are thrilled with their work. The men were nice to have around, courteous, quiet, neat, and knew what they were doing. It even took less time than they booked for it, so we were back in business faster. The price was in line with local prices and perhaps just a bit better, but since you get what you pay for, we were not shopping strictly on price. We wanted good technical skill, good AC and heating products, expert installation, and good service, which we got. Instructions for setting and using the new system was clear and they answered all questions. Oh, and they removed the old units from the property, cleaned up all the boxes and mess, even the little bits and pieces, before they left. We have been so impressed we asked if they have a service contract. We'll be very happy to have them back in our home, and perform routine maintenance as needed. Yes, we recommend.

Previously for just the AC split in the 3 season room: We are so delighted with the quality of work, and the product installed by the men from Armstrong's Heating and Air Conditioning.  They were prompt, clean, considerate, and clearly highly skilled.  A good number of items had to be fabricated and installed. They were pleasant to have in our home and were careful with the doors to keep our pets from dashing outside.  When they were done, they explained how the system worked, in detail, and answered all our questions. They even sent in the warranty paperwork for us. The cost was right in line with what was expected and there were no surprises. We found this company careful, skilled, ethical, and nice people. We live in Steuben County around one of the lakes.

Had a new HVAC system installed and Dave was great! We were in a time-crunch and he came and gave me a quote and talked through options same day. He is very knowledgeable and really understands all aspects of the work because he does the installs as well. We had the whole new system and duct cleaning done in one day. Very thankful we went with this local company and can’t highly recommend Dave and his crew enough!

Dave installed new furnace and air conditioner last year. His pricing was competitive and top-notch furnace/ AC. He didn't try to oversell us. He was very professional and listened to what we were looking for. I recommend him highly!

Very bad experience with the owner just now. He was caught red handed telling me a lie! It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but this guy lied right threw his teeth and then when he was caught in the lie, he double downed on it as if I was going to somehow accept it the 2nd time he told it. Extremely dishonest, stay away, and he was also very, very rude!!

We had an unexpected issue with an AC coil today.
Jeff came over, after a busy scheduled day to check out our issue. Since this was an air conditioning issue, obviously there was no rush, however Jeff assessed the issue and determined it could be repaired today. He went above and beyond to resolve an issue that wasn’t even an urgent need.

I would recommend Preferred Maintenance. They are very professional and experienced. My A/C and furnace hadn't been working well for the last few years, last year it wasn't working at all. I thought I was going to have to buy a new furnace and A/C. Les was able to fix both and I haven't had anymore problems with either! Les was very professional and explained what was wrong, what he was doing and why.
I will definitely use this company again!

I am the Pastor at the Fremont UMC in Fremont, IN. Our heating, air conditioning can be complicated as the building is large and has very high ceilings. We have had a heating and air problem in our two offices for decades. The guys came and did a very thorough inspection. Then they came up with what would work best for the church and those in those offices. They installed individual units in two offices and you would never know they had been in those offices; everything back in place and they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. They were friendly, honest, easy to work with, and wrote things down for us so we could share with our committees what work needed to be done and how to best handle the heating and air in the other rooms of the building! Highly recommend!

Dave Snyder and his assistant did a great job with our hot water heater replacement including finding and replacing a hidden rusted opening in the vent beyond the water heater. He also reviewed and answered questions on other nagging plumbing issues. One he repaired quickly. He will be back on two others.

The installation team Aaron and Scott were very professional with the installation of our new HVAC system and explained what they were doing and how everything worked.
We are very happy with everything and the pricing was great too.

Mr. Vazquez did an awesome job fixing our furnace. He was professional, kind, and was able to fix our furnace before the cold snap arrived. Master’s heating and cooling is fortunate to have him!
