Roger did an amazing job in my yard! They removed 17 overgrown bushes and small trees, cleared the beds to get ready for new bushes, and mulched with a mulch of my choice! My house looks new with the transformation! The team worked well and got it all done quickly with a fair price. I look forward to doing many more projects in my yard with Roger, thanks!

We hired Rogers to replace two 3-story 25-year-old pine trees that were close to the end of their lives and were struggling, to remove an overgrown (mulberry?) bush that had grown into a small tree and was slowly but surely pushing over a fence in the back yard, and to trim our trees in the front and back of the house. The price was fair, maybe even a bit lower than I'd expected, and we set a date for the work to be done.

He and his crew showed up and did the work, and what they did was excellent with one exception that I'll get to below. The quality of the tree trimming was very good and was done according to my instructions, which was basically "trim them back but don't overdo it." The quality of their work on this was 5 stars.

The price of the job included grinding the stump left by the mulberry bush in back. He said he didn't have the tool he needed for that job but he'd come back next week and do it. With that promise, we paid him in full. After he left, I noticed that we'd all overlooked a Japanese maple in front--it'd been part of the plan but they hadn't trimmed it and I hadn't noticed--and I saw that one of the 6- or 8-foot spruces they'd planted where the 25-year-old pines had been was crooked (see pic below). Not, like, 45-degree-crooked, but crooked enough that it's gonna look weirder and weirder as the tree gets taller if it doesn't straighten out. The other spruce was fine. I called Roger and left a voicemail message asking if the crooked spruce would straighten naturally or if needed to be straightened now. I asked him to look at it when he came back to grind the stump and let me know. I also said they'd overlooked the Japanese maple, but so had I, and if it wasn't too much trouble then I'd like them to trim it during the stump-grinding visit, but if it was, then it wasn't a big deal and could wait till the next trimming in a few years.

I've not heard from Roger since he left with our check. My wife and I each left 5-6 voicemail messages briefly describing the crooked-tree problem and asking him to call us, and about the same number of texts simply asking him to call us. Roger's not responded to any of them. My rating on his follow-up and integrity to finish the job after he's been paid is 0 stars.

If you're willing to hire someone who has a history of ghosting customers after they've been paid, then I'd advise you to inspect the job carefully before paying him to be sure everything is done to your satisfaction, and not paying in full until it is. A promise from Roger to return to fix something is not necessarily credible.

It's been 3 months since the work was done, so it's unlikely that he'll ever correct the situation but if he does, then I'll update this review with that new information. If I don't update the review, then you can assume it was never fixed.

Employees ignore orange tape and a short fence placed to block off flower garden from your employees - walking right over plants. Could you please educate them about markers telling them where they should or shouldn't go?

I recently had an old clogged French drain removed and replaced with a new French drain by ProCare Horticulture Services in Carmel. The work required hand digging due to its location near utilities, irrigation and overgrown tree roots. Patrick and his crew did an incredible job with minimal damage (which they repaired promptly and properly)! They completed the work in a timely manner and left a job well done! The area has been seeded and the grass is already growing in beautifully. Each member of the crew showed respect, professionalism and kindness. Patrick has been great to work with, always exceeding expectations. He, Ben and the ProCare team maintain our lawn, irrigation and snow removal. They have done additional work here in the past and I will definitely have them for future projects. In the office, Michele and Norma are both always pleasant and professional. I highly recommend ProCare for your outdoor needs!
