Using Haulstr saved us a good chunk of money because they are flexible in their delivery. What helped us was they were willing to throw some 1/8” sheet metal edging on top of the mulch delivery which saved us a dedicated trip that the landscape vendor was requiring. Even without this “ two loads in one approach” Haulstr was more cost effective. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Haulstr for your delivery needs.

Ordering mulch on-line with Haulstr was a piece of cake. I was hoping their finely shredded much would be the same as triple shredded. It turned out to be waaay better than the wood chip "mulch" I was buying by the bag at Lowe's. It was even finer than what was pictured on the Haulstr website. The delivery was quiet and spot on...I didn't even hear the delivery truck and it was placed exactly where I requested in my on-line order. I ordered 4 cu yd which I think is going to be just right for our plant beds.

I received 3 text messages all confirming my delivery window. On the day of the delivery, they completely missed the window. The only response I received was that "No one told the driver it was an AM delivery." The only way to contact them is via email, there is no one to call, or verify delivery before your window ends. Mulch was great quality, and the driver was very nice when they were able to come out. Great communication and reminders sent out to me the customer, but seems like their internal processes need some improvement. I will probably order again next year, but be careful before scheduling a crew to come out and do the spreading work.

We’ve never ordered mulch before and decided to take a chance with Haulstr, and I’m glad we did. The driver was not only kind and professional, he was knowledgeable about the product and was excited to talk to us about it. The mulch itself was incredible- all we’ve ordered before was bagged and let me tell you, there is a quality difference. We got it spread right before the rains hit this last weekend and the property looks fantastic.

Overall, we were extremely satisfied. The price was great and the service has been on point. Would highly recommend.

Seems like a good company. Customer service has been fine so far as well. I ordered a half rick of seasoned firewood and it arrived very wet and muddy with a couple small pieces of glass and gravel in the load so there is a bit of extra work to get it ready but speedy delivery was nice.

Consistently delivers full ricks of seasoned wood without mixing in some green pieces like most firewood delivery services tend to do. The driver / crew are attentive and tidy. I appreciate them greatly

We had a really difficult time with getting a dumpster team to work with us on the weekends. The owner himself took the time to make every effort to accommodate us. He picked up on the weekend including Sunday to ensure the neighborhood would not get into our dumpster!
They have the best prices in Indy! Trust me I researched for days since we needed multiple for just exterior work.
They are just amazing! Billing was simple and customer service was impressive!
This team is all I will have we moving forward!!

For the second time in three years, I ordered firewood from Haulstr. The order was scheduled for delivery between 4-7 pm, but the crew arrived at 10:30 a.m. while I was out running errands. (Well, better early than late, I guess.) When I arrived home, my neighbor, who also received a rack, and I stacked our respective piles of wood and found them short of the expected amount. I called to report my concern. The immediate response was a commitment to make it right. More wood was promised during the upcoming week. The delivery date was moved up and a generous amount of wood was delivered. I can only speculate that the reason for the shortfall was a communication error between the base of operations and the delivery crew. What's most important is that this outfit stands by their product and services, not something to take for granted. I will order from Haulstr the next time I need firewood.

Ordering from Haulstr was seamless from the start. Ordering what I wanted could not have been easier. The delivery was on time and unloaded quickly by Chris(?the friendliest delivery driver I have ever had. The best part is every order helps the community . I will be using them again.

I used Haulster for firewood delivery and stacking. They stayed in effective communication throughout the request, delivered on time and stacked the wood well. Although the wood, delivery and stacking when added up seemed a little pricey, that Haulster donates part of the cost of every order to a wide range of non profits made me feel better about it. My previous supplier of really good quality firewood no longer delivers. They actually referred Haulstr to me. Outstanding! It is not very often these days when a company delivers more than was expected. Their delivery team actually went above and beyond my expectations. No "trash bark" and all HARDWOOD! Haulstr has been an absolute joy to work with. Carey and Derek have always been super communicative, reliable, and their work has been top notch. I work for Habitat for Humanity and they have done rough grading, debris removal, final grading, and have installed mulch for us. I have been happy with everything they've done for us and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. Thanks Haulstr for all your help!

Working with Derek & Travis was an excellent experience. The Haulstr crew was reliable, hardworking, polite, professional, and tidy. We hired them to demo our overgrown landscaping and failing landscaping walls. They rebuilt and thoughtfully redesigned the hardscaping & landscaping, and added lighting. They checked in regularly with me to ensure I was satisfied. At the end of each day they cleaned up the yard, leaving no trace of construction in progress. Highly recommend!

Wood was delivered first thing in the morning. It was placed next to my racks so it was easier for me to stack. Most importantly, it's great wood. Only criticism would be the price. This is my first time using Haulstr and I paid twice as much from last year. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Ordered 2 ricks of wood to be delivered. Looks more like 3 ricks!! Dropped it off in driveway. They also stack for an extra $80, but didn't need that service. Order was to be delivered on a Monday, but weather was an issue, so didn't get delivery until Wednesday. Great service if you need firewood and need it delivered. 2 ricks plus delivery was around $340

I wouldn’t recommend firewood from haulstr. Paying a very premium price you would expect premium fire wood. This means split good,dry and ready to go. I personally received wood with 40% moisture level and at least 60% of splits are giant. Prob twice as large as desired for stove. Wood sizzles and smokes and takes very long time to dry out enough to even be able to close door on stove. Disappointing as the reason i used haulstr and paid the premium was because the wood i already had was a little to green to burn this year so i thought “well ill bite the bullet and pay the premium so i can at least burn” . Bad mistake. New woods 15%wetter than the rick of hickory i bought for $80.

Update. Haulstr called me within 12 hours and had new truck out with new wood within 16 hours. Even helped carry and stack behind house. They even left the old wood. Im really impressed. I redact any negativity i put on them. They stand behind their product and i wouldnt be worried at all to buy more wood

Purchased 2 ricks of firewood delivered. Apparently they scooped it up from a bunch of black mud. Almost all of the pieces are covered with dried mud. They might burn if they’re really seasoned but we really don’t want to bring them into our clean living room. There’s no way we won’t spread dirt around. Plus the sediment will build up in our expensive new Regency fireplace. Will keep looking for a reliable source of good firewood.

Half of the firewood delivered is unusable because of the moisture content being too high. There was ice an a lot of prices. That’s not a good sign. It won’t burn! At least half of it needs to be split because it is way to large for a fireplace. It is also pretty dirty. For what they charge, this should be ready to be thrown in the fireplace and burn well! This is not the case. Very disappointed. Can’t recommend this company. For firewood. The communication for delivery was great though.

A Disastrous Experience with Haulstr

The anticipation of creating a beautiful food forest to feed those in need quickly turned into a nightmare when I decided to trust Haulstr for soil supplies. The disappointment and frustration that followed were unparalleled, as every plant, vegetable, and tree I carefully nurtured ended up dead, all due to the incompetence and lack of understanding displayed by Carey, the supposed owner of Haulstr.

Initially, I had high hopes for Haulstr, believing that they would provide me with the necessary soil to support my community project. However, it soon became evident that Carey, the alleged owner, was completely clueless about the products he was selling. Despite clearly explaining my requirements for a food forest, Carey seemed oblivious to the purpose of the soil he was peddling. It was disheartening to realize that my time, money, and efforts had all been wasted on a product that was not only unsuitable but also detrimental to my cause.

The callous disregard for the importance of my project and the sheer negligence displayed by Haulstr in selling inappropriate soil is truly appalling. In a time when support and cooperation are crucial, it is disheartening to encounter individuals like Carey, who prioritize profit over the well-being of others. The audacity to sell a product without understanding its implications is not just unprofessional but also morally reprehensible.

Furthermore, the response I received from Haulstr only added insult to injury. The attempt to shift blame onto me for the failure of the plants was nothing short of infuriating. To suggest that I should have known better or that I was at fault for not understanding the nature of the soil is a gross misrepresentation of the truth. It is evident that Haulstr lacks the integrity and accountability necessary to rectify their mistakes and provide genuine solutions to their customers.

The fact that I now have to incur additional expenses to remove the soil, replace it, and restart my project is a burden that could have easily been avoided if Haulstr had been honest and competent in their dealings. The lack of empathy and understanding demonstrated by Haulstr is not just disappointing but also highlights a fundamental flaw in their business ethos.

In conclusion, my experience with Haulstr has been nothing short of a disaster. The disregard for customer needs, the incompetence in product knowledge, and the refusal to take responsibility for their actions paint a grim picture of Haulstr's ethics and values. I urge others to beware of such unscrupulous businesses and to demand transparency and integrity in all their dealings.
