This company is great! We have a lot of trees on our property and instead of letting them get sick and loose them Savatree keeps them healthy. They came out last Fall to assess our trees and put together a program for the following spring. We are very happy with them and glad we found this company

Fabulous work done by the three tree experts. They were nice, extremely knowledgeable and very efficient in their work. They also left our yard and trees in pristine condition. Clean up was perfect. Matt, the arborist who came to give us a quote was great and gave us a competitive price. He also gave us a heads up when the crew was coming and checked up with us afterwards. Excellent customer service.

I can’t say enough good things about SavATree tree service. Four years ago my 25 foot healthy blue spruce fell in a storm. I called SavATree to remove and prepare the ground for the replacement. It was such a great experience, I decided to call them three years ago to start taking care of my landscaping. I had been using a less expensive, well known company for 20yrs. This other company could never figure out how to treat my pachysandra ground cover. Never the same technician and my ground cover was dying.

I started working with Kelly to set up a treatment plan. My ground cover as well as my landscaping are now healthy and look beautiful! Scott is the technician that always comes out for the treatments. He has years of experience and
understands plants and the nutrients they need.
This is one company that you can turn your expensive landscaping over to and trust they will get the job done.

I contacted Savatree because they acquired our previous tree service provider that I was very happy with. When Matt came out to assess our property and give us an estimate, I was please to learn he was originally an employee of our previous provider…a good sign. Thanks to Tabitha, Algandro and Juan, we were not disappointed. The team did a great job with positive attitudes and left our property immaculate, including our large weeping willow as pictured. Towards the end of the day I realized we had left a few items off the estimate. Matt made an extra trip back to quickly agree to how those items would be handled. If I could, I would give Savatree six stars. They have my highest possible recommendation!

Met with the consultant. He said he was busy for the next few weeks but would be calling me to set up an appointment. He never called but then all of the sudden text me that he had a cancellation for tomorrow and would like to me to take that appointment. I didn’t see it till the next day. I had a medical appointment already scheduled . I told him that morning that I couldn’t do it that day. He scolded me for not answering his text sooner. I never made a commitment or appointment for that day. I told him I couldn’t do mid december but he was not able to do that . I told him I was unhappy how he’s handling this . He told me not to call the company again. It was Logan . He lost you $2200 plus I told him I would need 2 more trees in the new year removed… he lost you that money too. I will never use your service ! Had he handled the situation without insulting me for not answering his text as soon as he wanted , we may have still done business later today. Excellent customer service. Made appointment, arborist Kelly Fink listen to our concerns, provided on-site evaluation and a submitted a timely, concise proposal. Tree crew were professional completing their task and ensuring area was cleaned before departure.

Friendly and professional crew. They explained their pruning plan and asked if I had any comments. Cleared the yard of debris and requested a final inspection before leaving. I recommend SavATree for tree care.

We had several large trees located in a confined area that needed to be removed. Save-A-Tree did an excellent job removing these trees without damaging nearby property at a reasonable cost. They also did an excellent job of post-cleanup. I would recommend them for all tree removals.

Coleman and Grant did a super job saving our 15 foot pine tree that had blown over in high winds. The root ball was still intact so they were able to use a winch to pull it upright and stake it. We use Savatree maintenance services in the summer, such as spraying the pines for insects. Our trees are healthy and thriving. Savatree has protected our green ash trees from the emerald ash borer and the trees are huge now. As a home owner, you don’t think about tree maintenance until you start losing your trees due to insects or leaf diseases. We have used Savatree for over 10 years and couldn’t be happier with the service they provide.

I have been totally pleased with all the services done by Sav-a-Tree. The landscaping looks great that Kelly designed and the team planted. I have not lost one plant, even in our awful soil. This year they are doing the lawn applications, and we’re seeing improvement already. Angel checks everything every time he’s in my neighborhood, and gives me suggestions. They take great pride in their successful work!

We were very impressed with this company. They communicated well, were on time, and professional. They performed great work and you could not tell they had been on our property when they were done. That was even while using heavy equipment to get to our trees on our property. I would recommend them and would do business with them again. They did require some advanced scheduling for when they were available.

We have been with Sav A Tree since they merged with Ping's. We LOVE them! They always do such a fantastic job on trimming our trees. They are very knowledgeable of any and all diseases and problems with any variety of tree. They have solutions to most all problems. We have an Ash tree that we have been treating for the pesky Emerald Ash Borer for years. We also have a Crabapple tree they treat for fungus. We love all of our trees on our property and they take the best care of them! Their expertise and genuine care and excellent service makes them the BEST tree experts around the Indianapolis area. We will never have any other company treat/trim our trees. It is that simple.

I would use SavATree services again 100%. Excellent communication and knowledgeable about the service they were providing. The team did not rush and were thorough, clearly caring about the job they were doing.
There was a tree they did not have time to finish and they told me at the end of the day they would be back to finish the job. I might not have known any better. I appreciate the trustworthiness.

We were scheduled to have a big, mishapen evergreen impacted by spider mites taken down in February, when we could take advantage of a winter discount. We got a last minute call from SavATree when frigid temps disabled a big piece of machinery needed at another jobsite. Could they come that morning to clear away my tree right now? If so, I'd be filling the hole in their schedule and they'd still honor the discount. YES! Thanks for the opportunity!

John and his crew from 146th St did a great job! We had 3 trees to take down. Matt said they would be here around 2:00 PM. They were right on time. The job was finished in approximately 2 hours. John and his crew also cleaned up and left the place spotless.
I highly recommend Save-A-Tree

Timely in showing up to give a quote and sending proposal. Proposal stated all brush and tree would be cut in 24 inch pieces and that didn't happen. However, making sure the gentleman follow the proposal and listening to what the customer asks was awful. Logan told me what I wanted hear and didn't make sure it was done according to proposal. I had to spend eight hours after the tree was cut to cleanup the mess. I will never use savatree again!!

The experts at Save-a-tree have gone above and beyond all year to care for our trees and lawn. We enjoy chatting with Tabitha, Angel, and/or Logan when they come to do a treatment or inspect the progress. All are very knowledgeable and have helped us see great results.

Savatree crew of John, Hugo, Victoria, and Juan performed a great stabilization of a huge Oak behind my house at Central Park today and also trimmed a huge dead limb from the tree. The tree is almost 3 feet in diameter at the base. I'm thrilled to save this wonderful old Oak as long as possible. Matt and his amazing crew have been fabulous to do business with, right from my initial consultation in Aug 2025 when the crown of my mature silver maple snapped off during a windstorm right through my Feb 2026 planned pruning of the same tree to preserve her overall health and integrity. From the reasonable price commesurate with the service to the professionalism and safety with which both jobs were completed right down to the crew leaving the worksite tidier than when they found it, I’d recommend Sav-A-Tree to anyone who cares about the well-being and beauty of their greenscaping.
