We hired Cutting Edge Hardscapes to replace our broken stamped concrete sidewalk with paving stones, add landscape lighting and replace broken drainage pipes. Matt and Alex worked with us to understand our needs and created an esthetically pleasing design. They were responsive to our many customizations. Their crew worked diligently to install the pavers, landscape lights and pipes.

We had Cutting Edge cover a concrete patio with pavers and enlarge it. They provided documents we needed for HOA approval. They even helped us get the HOA approval ahead of the scheduled start date so they could start sooner. The crew did an excellent job on the patio and also cleaning up the yard. Cutting the concrete pieces made a lot of dust, but they even washed the neighbor's air conditioner when they were done.

We used Cutting edge for a paver pavillion project in our backyard. They were on time, professional, and did a high quality job. Our project manager was Doug and he was very easy to work with!

Cutting Edge led by Douglas Fernandes did a superb job from our first meet to multiple design drawings to acceptable quotes to clean, quick, on-time construction and clean up to multiple follw ups to all of our questions. If you are a picky customer who demands perfection, Cutting Edge is the contractor for you!

Follow up review one year after installation: one of the smaller pavers broke away from the main paver surface. I texted Douglas who was on vacation at the time, but still managed to get word to the crew to repair the issue. So Douglas was timely as was the crew. Feels good to know that after one year, they still care and stand behind their work!

Follow up 10/16/2023: we noticed multiple splits in sand between pavers. Concerned about buckling when winter arrives. I called Douglas Fernandes right away and within about 5 days his crew was out reapplying sand between those affected pavers. So thankful for the fast and courteous service provided.

Long overdue review. We had Cutting Edge Hardscape design and install an outdoor living area for us with a bar that seats 12. Working with this team from start to finish was nothing but professional. What started out as a decent size project, only grew when we seen the beauty of the design. Our patio, living area, walkway(s) and waterfall feature have been the talk of our guest since the installation back in 2013. Should you find yourself in need of a hardscape project, you will not be disappointed by calling Cutting Edge Hardscapes.

Very conscientious crew and project manager. Our terrace walls are stunning. They built our stairs 3 times to make sure they were done properly. Our paver patio was built on fresh dirt from backfilling the terrace walls in November and told us part of the patio would sink over the winter but not to worry they would be back in the spring to redo. That is exactly what they did!!
Final product is gorgeous. Great company to do business with. Great communicators.

The experience from start to finish was phenomenal! We wanted to add a paver patio and redo a small area where our grill was located. We had a hard time finding a company willing to even take on our project due to the size. Cutting Edge said no project was too small! Jake came out to give us a quote within a week. He offered suggestions but was not pushy to make the project bigger in scale. Jake then came back to go over the 3D rendering and samples. He guided us to what would look best from the shape to color of pavers. We were told 6-8 weeks out on our project and we’re thrilled when 3 weeks later they could fit us in!

The crew was on time, hard working and are all excellent at what they do! They treated our yard as if it were their own and continued to clean and keep the dust at a minimum. The cutwork was meticulous and it turned out better than I imagined!

My husband decided our backyard needed some love cause we definitely don't get any shade back there and we have a beautiful view so why aren't we using it? Definitely cause we have no trees and at one point we were using a tailgate tent like we were throwing a party for game day in a parking lot lol Thank you to cutting edge! We have finally graduate from all that! Douglas was the first person we met thru cutting age and was communicative all the way from the start. We needed only one visit with him and we were like just take all our money! He was able to design everything we dream of in one sitting. Like we felt so bad, this man was so dedicated. He made sure we were happy and satisfied and helped us all the way through with the look and design. Although we didn't have our yard ready for 4th of July, we now have plenty of reasons to do one in the future or other parties. That fireplace is a dream! We are absolutely thrilled we with cutting edge. They are professional and were able to get the project done in a timely manner. Alex did our walkthrough at the end and he was just the nicest gentleman. Everyone who worked on our project was all a delight and we never would hesitant to use cutting edge for future projects. Kevin, owner of Cutting Edge Hardscapes was our contact and led us through the process of installing a complex design of landing walkway and entry on a project with a serious grade change. I am the landscape operations manager for Greenscapes LLC. We have been searching for a Hardscapes company, able to work with us and our clients for years. The professionalism of Cutting Edge has brought that search to an end. Their ability to work with us and keep our clients happy through a major project has earned our fidelity and gratitude.

After a disastrous decision to sod the back yard after new construction, and no support from the sod company, we decided now was the time to put in that patio. Cutting Edge presented a fantastic 3D design which would show us what we could not verbalize or envision - 1st attempt. Supporting information assisted in HOA approval (fast), and impressed approvers. The team came in and executed to perfection the design. Being mechanical in nature, I can tell you their masonry skills were impressive - and artistic. Hard quality to replicate. Super excited to move this to the next step in creating this new living area. Hat's off to them - and would not flinch in recommending and thinking of how I can use again.

Douglas created a fantastic design for our covered pavilion, paver patio, fire pit and outdoor kitchen, and was always attentive and willing to listen to our ideas and questions. A couple very minor details were addressed immediately without issue, and they were even able to accommodate a last minute addition without any delays or concerns. We had Cutting Edge install a paver patio and a Sundance Louvered Roof. We worked with Matt and Adam to come up with the perfect design to fit the area we wanted to cover and within our budget. It was installed last October (2022) and we were able to enjoy it with the wonderful weather we had for Thanksgiving and look forward to this new addition now that Spring is here! Cutting edge replaced and extended our old concrete patio with pavers, adding in a fire pit as well. They worked closely with us right from the start, giving us realistic expectations of what could be done and they worked through several design options to make sure that we were going to be happy with the end result. Once we had a design, Daniel's team did the installation and they did a fantastic job. They did all of the work in under a week, but the quality of the patio was superb and it's clear that even though they worked quickly, they paid close attention to detail. We are very happy with the outcome and it was well worth the investment! We've already made good use of the fire pit in just a few weeks!

I had a very large backyard project involving the removal of 2 long existing, crumbling retaining walls with stairs and the installation of new retaining walls and stairs. Cutting Edge got back to me right away and set up a time to visit my property. Jake listened to the issues I was trying to resolve and helped me think through other ways I might want to use the space. I decided I also wanted to incorporate a fire pit into the design. When Jake returned to review the designs, I was totally blown away with what they came up with. It was stunning and I could tell it would really add value to my home and enable us to enjoy the backyard - extending our living/entertaining space. The project supervisor helped to provide all the documentation I needed for my HOA. They actually were able to start the job earlier than planned and it was completed in around 2 weeks. The workmanship was excellent. I would occasionally check in to see how it was going and the team was very meticulous and exact. The project turned out amazing. Once I add landscaping this spring, the space will be complete and beautiful.

My family and I have had the good fortune of using Cutting Edge for two different patio projects: nearly seven years ago at our prior home and this year at our current home. In both cases we were thrilled with the projects and have enjoyed our Cutting Edge patios for their function, durability, and aesthetic.

Our recent project was anything but typical, and required reinforcing our home, removing and replacing three supporting columns, and significant demolition of the original concrete patio. Still extremely happy with our still-new pergola, patio, grille and firepit. In 2022 I hired Cutting Edge to rejuvenate my entire backyard. I worked closely with Doug, then with Keaton and Carlos on the electrical + gas lines. Doug's design details were amazing; his gift of conceptualizing a design then develop a workable plan is amazing. The labor team always arrived early, worked very hard, worked all day even on a cold weather day. They completed the job in record time. Now our backyard is a showcase. Cutting Edge was a terrific choice.
