Southlake team is wonderful to work with and their finished work speaks for itself! Matt and his team helped with drainage (downspout and sump pump) and irrigation system install. They also do my lawn maintenance and are my trusted partner for all things landscaping and outdoor services.

From the start, I could tell they were at a different caliber. Southlake team are incredibly respectful of your property, treating it like theirs, and are a well-oiled machine, efficient and high quality.

When I first moved in, I had a lot of drainage issues due to heavy rain and went with a different local company to bury my downspouts and sump pump. However, I continued to have issues with water pooling because the job was incorrectly done. I reached out to Southlake—they were quick to respond and were at my home within a day to assess the situation. Soon after, I had a quote with detailed scope of work for installing a dry well. The price was fair and decided to move forward with the project. It was such a great experience that I reached out to them to re-do all the downspout drainage pipes.

On the lawn care and maintenance side, Southlake team are installing a robust irrigation system. Ernesto is a pleasure to work with and is truly an expert in his trade. Matt and his team are also taking care of my lawn with weekly mowing and seasonal fertilization, soil aeration and over seeding. I can’t wait to get that golf course level lawn!

Having recently moved to NWI as a first time homeowner, it’s been incredibly difficult to find great landscape providers and I’m super grateful for Southlake, Matt and his team. They are compassionate and are not out to upsell or price gouge you. Their output truly speaks for itself and as a result, led me to engage them for more services. I contracted Southlake Services to remove metal fencing, brick columns and a retaining wall so that an aluminum fence could be installed. The job was completed within two days and looks fabulous! We had a difficult landscaping project that another service said was not really doable because of tree roots. The crew at Southlake Services did a wonderful job at a reasonable price. We needed excavating in our back yard, and when we left a message at Southlake Services, Matt returned our phone call and quickly followed up with a visit and quote. He kept in touch regularly with updates as we waited on 811 and as we waited on the weather to improve. Most importantly, he was honest during the whole process. His team showed up when they said they would and worked diligently the entire time until the project was completed the way that we had imagined it. The end result was exactly what we had in mind, and we’re so grateful that they prioritized our needs and kept their word. It’s unusual to find a business that is truly committed to serving the client to the degree that they did. The team was professional and easy to work with, and we wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

Lawn mowing services - our lawn has never looked this good! They mow at the perfect height, trim and use blower to clean up. Very nice!

Southlake provided a quick response and a thorough solution to our landscaping, erosion, and, ultimately, septic issues, all of which arose in a very short timeframe.

Christian and the guys at Southlake Services did an unbelievable job on our hardscape and landscape project. I can't recommend them enough. We had a very difficult project (due to the crazy slope of our lot) and Southlake not only completed it, but went over and above our expectations. Again, they had to move some very large, heavy stonework on a very steep grade and did a phenomenal job. Also, I had sought many quotes and Southlake was the most reasonable. I have already asked for another quote on some other work. Give them a call. You will be very happy with their work!

Christian was awesome to work with, fair quote, due to the rainy spring, job was pushed back a few weeks, Christian stayed in touch bi weekly with updates. Any questions I had via text or phone were responded to that day. The work was good quality, had hard scape brick and edging along with seeding the whole back yard. Had grass within a week two weeks looked awesome, some areas needed reseeding which is expected. Yea would totally recommend Southlake.

The county came in our neighborhood and put in city sewer. To do that, our backyard was torn up, a tree and shrubs were taken out, our patio pavers were disturbed and things were a mess. Christian gave us a new design for the yard. His crew worked hard, putting it all together. The crew is great. Friendly and professional. Our backyard now looks good again! Thank you to everyone.

Christian and his team were incredible to work with! In trying to have the initial landscaping done for our new construction home, we spoke with 4-5 other landscaping companies before finding Southlake Services, and none of them seemed to genuinely listen. Christian was the complete opposite. He was engaging during our walkthrough, listened to what we were thinking and completely understood our view for the overall project, while also understanding that we would be completing it in sections. He offered up great design idea’s that we had not thought of, but ended up loving and going with. He worked with us to come in at the budget we needed to be at, and never tried to oversell us. The work they completed looks incredible as well, even though Mother Nature was not cooperative at the time. The final grade, buried downspouts, black mulch bed, irrigation and sod all impressed us! Thank you Christian, and the entire crew, for the fantastic work, and, more importantly, for the genuine honesty and integrity that you all conduct yourselves with throughout the process and business!! Update: We had Christian and his incredible team back out to do substantially more landscaping on our lot. (Special shout out’s to Moy and Isaiah for running the project flawlessly and for being great people!!) They raked and performed a final grade on approximately 1 acre of the lot, adding around 105 yards of top soil, seeding and installing straw mat on the area! Furthermore, we had them clear approximately 2.5 - 3 additional acres of our lot. The amount of raking they performed to turn that area into, what honestly ended up looking like top soil, was pretty incredible! They perfectly listened and left all trees that we had all discussed that we wanted to leave untouched. There wasn’t a time when there seemed to be the slightest hint of miscommunication. Nothing but impressive listening and understanding of their customer/client!

Then, finally, we can talk about our absolute happiness with the landscaping/hardscaping bed/border they created around the border of our house. The plants, styling, spacing, pots and large accent stones that Christian picked out and created a design, with placement, was like he read our minds!! His team installed everything to a T!!! Once again, we are beyond impressed with Southlake Services!! We can’t recommend their services enough!! The pictures I am adding really don’t do the magnitude of the job they did justice!! We hope the description more accurately describes the high level ability that Southlake Services has in completing your project above and beyond your expectations!!! Again, we WILL have them back out whenever we have our pool installed!! Impressive, impressive, impressive!!!!!!

We had a fantastic experience working with Christian from Southlake Landscaping. My wife had a very specific vision: clean, modern landscaping with various shades of green, simple white flowers, and no busy colors. Christian absolutely delivered.

From our first meeting, he took the time to fully understand what we wanted. He thoughtfully scoped the project, recommended easy-to-maintain decorative stone instead of mulch, and collaborated with us every step of the way to refine the design. One of my top priorities was low maintenance, and Christian consistently kept that in mind.

He also installed a beautiful new stone border that really defines the beds and adds a clean, finished look to the entire yard.

Before planting, he laid out all the plants and gave us the opportunity to make final tweaks. The installation was excellent. Christian even returned after sunset to adjust the landscape lighting—which added an extra touch that really brought the whole design to life.

The end result is clean, elegant, and exactly what we envisioned. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Christian, for transforming our yard into a space we truly love.
