Teck Electric LLC dba Five Star Electric-horrible, very unprofessional, unreliable, poor work ethics. Contract them on Oct 31, 2017, rough electrical was not done and green tag until end of Jan 2018. As of today, half of the project are not done properly or working. The Owner stated himself that they work an hour here & there with various clients to try to make them happy. TERRIBLE!!!

I called to have my generator serviced. Teck failed to show up and they failed to call. No contact from them whatsoever. It amazes me how companies with such poor service remain in business. I, of course, will never attempt use them again and will advise my neighbors to stay away, too. My recommendation to you is to call someone else.

WARNING!!!!! Generator issues!! BEWARE of what this company does and tells you!!! I am the daughter of a 88 year old woman that got played by this company!! It started out on April 2nd with a maintenance call for the annual check up - cost $120 - and went down hill from here!! Let me clarify she had never used this company before as another company has always taken care of her maintenance. She lost power end of May (2 months after initial visit) but it only ran for a short time and quit. On 6/2 they came out and said the battery was shot and needed to be replaced - cost $395. One month later quit running, they came out and now it is the control board, which had to be ordered but was covered because there had been an issue before so replaced at no charge end of July 28. However the pressure was low. August 28 - red light on and not running 😠 technician Zach comes out AGAIN (This has become a monthly thing!!). He did nothing this time except to tell her after all this and months of jacking her around that the Generator was shot and she needed a new one and BY THE WAY that is a charge of $111.00 - bye!! She should NEVER have been CHARGED for this last call!! She has now spent well over $600 on a Generator that is garbage and the answer is we don't know for sure what is wrong as the dynastic check gives us possibilities?? So VERY UNHAPPY with how this went 😠😠😠😠

They called me to schedule a maintenance appointment on generator on 12/27/19 for a 1/3/20 date. I called them to see when they should be here, Kim told me they had technician out sick all week and wouldn’t make it today. Why couldn’t they call me prior to the original scheduled date? Last year they did the same thing, but that time they said they had other customers before they could do maintenance on my generator. It’s now clear to me that once you spend $6k they don’t care about maintaining the equipment for warranty compliance. It’s obvious they don’t the customers time is important.

Wonderful customer service and reasonably priced annual maintenance plans for your generator. Teck Electric installed my outside generator and i have been so happy with the annual service as well as the peace of mind having my generator! In my area we lose power a lot and this has kicked in every time the power shuts off immediately after. i can run everything in the house and my pool heater and pump as normal. Life does not stop! Wonderful investment!

Purchased a generator in 9/20, was on back order due to manufacturing issues. Understandable. Had no expectation that it would be installed in the spring. February receive a call, unit is in, they want to install, however, reluctant because there was a snowstorm. They assured if installed they would return in the spring, and adjust the unit. After many calls, they finally come to adjust the unit 4 months later. The team that came moved the unit, did not ensure that the connections, flex tube were not compromised after moving. In comes The gas company as they have a indicator of a gas leak. They shut the unit down and yellow tagged it. Immediately called Teck to come and correct this. 3 days later, no call, no show to repair. I now have a huge box with an engine sitting in my yard which is virtually useless. Do not recommend. They are unresponsive and no customer should feel that they must wait for a response from their error that was potentially dangerous. Expensive mistake. Disappointing.

I highly recommend ,very knowledgeable workers and quick service.

The whole project went great from when Arty sized up the project and Troy,Ivan,Cory and Caden done the install while Jeff expedited to make sure everything went the way it was supposed to. A great bunch of guys which made me feel that the job was being done right. Arty followed up to make sure every thing was done to my satisfaction.

Excellent 5 star service today! Our power went out early this morning and then our whole-house generator about 5 hours later. We called as soon as they opened, Jeff was able to get someone out within a couple hours! COREY came, giving us OUTSTANDING service!
