I recently had a generator installed by Teck Electric, from Dyer Indiana. The process was smooth, and the installation happened quickly. The attached pics are from the actual installation and of the brochure that the salesman gave me. Do you see anything missing? I call Teck about the fascia, which is the cover at the base of the unit, as shown in the brochure that was given to me during the sales call. When I was given the sales pitch, I wasn't told that this would be an extra charge... A day or so after the installation, I noticed that this was missing, so I texted the sales rep Arty, crickets. I then called the company and got the "supply chains / covid" excuse. Now if I want the "beauty cover" it will cost an additional ~200 bucks. I’m thinking when you spend 10k on a generator it should come with what’s shown in the brochure, right? When I saw the picture of the car I bought, it had nice rims. And when I picked it up, the nice rims came with the car. It didn’t have stock black steel rims. I’m still waiting for the sales guy to get back to me. I’ll make an update if anything changes.

NO LONGER A RELIABLE COMPANY. Contacted them in November for repair, then had to wait until December for them to install a "new" mixer assembly part that was later determined to be "faulty". It is now January and we are STILL waiting for them to come and fix our generator, which we paid them for back in December. Multiple no-show appointments and little to no follow up on status update unless I called them.

Corey, the teck electric technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. My generator problem was easy to fix. My yard maintenance people must have hit the auxiliary cutoff switch in back of the generator when getting rid of the leaves in the yard. Big thanks to Corey for coming out to Portage as his last stop after along day of work.

Mitch and Ken we’re great to work with contractor hired tech Electric so I’m not sure how much I’ve paid for the electrical work. Great company to work with though.

I had Teck Electric install a (generac) generator and I am very very pleased. The service was great. They did exactly what they said they Would do and when you pick up the phone and call, they are always on the other end. Great company highly recommend them.

Cory was extremely helpful! Checked the generator and demonstrated how to test it. He helped with much needed questions abd service. Feels like a good friend although he was just being himself, "PROFESSIONAL". I'd refer Teck Electronics to anyone that needs electrical needs.

Teck Electric is very professional and helpful. Had to call the after hours phone number for an issue. Was called back by Cory within 2 minutes. He was very professional, knowledgeable and very reassuring about the issue. Next day spoke to Jeff who also was great to deal with. They got to my home right away to resolve the problem. Would definitely recommend them!!

Zack is awesome! He drove from Chesterton to Rochester IN to help us after a lightening strike took out power. He made sure that our resident had power and all things worked before he left.
I would call him if you need a person with integrity.
