Great company! My yard has never looked so nice, highly recommend!!

Have used Yardvarks for several years now and they always leave my lawn looking awesome and edge walks and driveway every time!

These guys Rock! They come and do their stuff. The lawn looks fantastic, the crew looks good and professional and their equipment is top notch!

Was the first of 4 estimates we were getting for landscaping. He told us not to bother getting anyo ther estimates. They would be the best to do the job. I called multiple times and left messages. Never heard back in 6 weeks...glad I didn't take his advice. Hired someone else.

Chad and Grant did 2 days of cleaning up a weedy flowerbed, replaced topsoil, transplanted and planted new plantings, mulched and installed River rock. Looks great. Chad gave me advice on plantings and soil conditioning and fertilization. Very pleased. Will use them again.

Lots of beautiful plants; unfortunately, the two annuals I wanted were no where to be found. Plenty of people to help answer your questions and cashiers are super friendly. I think the prices are high so I shop only for the unique gifts and flowers/shrubs/perennials. I won't pay those prices for standard annuals you can pick up at the big box stores.

We were a long time patron of Allisonville before it was purchased by Sullivan. We have noticed a steep decline in friendliness as well as general plant knowledge. It seems to have turned into some type of cafe/knickknack /grill centered store. We wanted to purchase something as simple as a pack of seed which we had been able to in years past but now it was replaced with junk to purchase. Very disappointed to see a local small business get turned into such a disappointment.

The place is beautiful. Large selection. My biggest gripe is they should have a section on Indiana native plants. I have a large wooded property adjacent to the Hoosier National Forest and see first hand how ornamental plants have become invasive so I am very particular what I want to plant on my property. I dont know a ton about plants so going through all the rows of plants and sifting through plants looking for something that kind of sounds familiar is frustrating. Even if they didn't have a separate section, it would be great if there was a common sticker to indicate it is native. For ideas, see May's Greenhouse in Bloomington, IN. Aside from that, as I said, the nursery is beautiful and they have a large selection of beautiful and interesting plants.

Let me just preface this review by saying: I'm clueless about plants and cannot get them to grow at all. Despite this, the nursery staff, Ryan, was so helpful and patient with me as he answered my endless questions, and aided me in making more informed decisions about which shrubs to put in my yard and how to care for them.

With Ryan’s guidance, I purchased 8 plants, and took a risk to do delivery and install through Sullivan while it was on sale instead of using my usual landscaper. Usually, I avoid services from outside companies, because the work is typically subpar and messy, or worse, they end up ruining something in my yard, but I'm so glad I took the risk this time! I was really worried about the installation ruining the new rock (and weed mat) I laid, but Sean, my installer, did such a great job listening to me as we discussed the location and positioning of my flowers and trees, and then planted them without making any mess at all. He went out of his way to pull errant weeds, level any displaced rock, and left the area brighter and more beautiful than it started. It was completely above and beyond what I expected! I’m so impressed by how fast he got it done, too! On top of that, I'm following the advice Ryan gave me and my plants are actually blooming now!! I can't believe it!! Someone give those boys a raise!!!

Sean was THE best help I’ve ever had. I had a flat tire and was broken down on the middle of college avenue and he stopped traffic to change my tire and not only changed my tire but followed me all the way to the tire shop to ensure my safety! I HIGHLY recommend any employee at this company if this is how they treat people because I was completely overwhelmed and he saved my life

Sometimes you get an Opps! How a company handles the mistakes makes them either a 1 or a 5.
I am a critical shopper and more so since I have owned a retail business and worked in the corporate world for a big box retailer.
We purchased about 12 tree to be installed. On delivery I noticed they sent the wrong tree and some trees had a lower price point than what I ordered.
The manager came to the job site reviewed the issues and resolved it on the spot. The correct tree was installed the next week.
The service from the selection to the cashiers and the installation crew is impressive. I have never experienced such great service in a retail establishment.
They execute what most people talk.
Oh the prices are very competitive!!!

They had a family fall event with activities for kiddos, a train ride, food, drinks, and games. They really did a good job!

Great selection of unique cultivars that you just won't find at a big box or hardware store. Staff who actually know plants. You'll leave inspired!

This was a very pleasant surprise. We haven't been in a few years. We are so glad we went this time. We were helped by an employee named Pat. She was the best. We will surely be back.

Amazing customer service! The store is very clean and organized. Beautiful scenery all around the store, making shopping so relaxing. They have a kitchen and lounge to enjoy a morning coffee & book. Highly recommend this store to everyone!!

Customer service headed by Greg Moberg is excellent! A fir tree they had planted for me several years ago came out of the ground from high winds. I sent them a picture of the fallen tree along with a picture of my original purchase receipt, and they came out and replanted it free of charge. Highly recommend this place when purchasing trees.
