INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED! Should be no stars! Purchased a Christmas tree on 12/01/2019 with my family @ the Fishers store. Tree was wrapped and secured to the top of our car by their employees. We pulled out of the parking lot and headed about 1/2 mile down 126th Street and tree fell off roof of car onto the road. Fortunately, no one was driving behind us. Called the store to inform them immediately. The young girl that answered the phone did apologize, but felt it required a manager to know. Went into the store on 12/02 and spoke with Matt the manager of the Christmas tree department. Explained my biggest concern was that we could have caused a car accident secondary to their attaching the tree to the car. Looked at me and said "Never happened in 3,000 trees". Didn't even apologize. When stated that could have caused a car accident- stated "Hum". Then informed him that it did damage the bottom of the tree- stated, "You could bring it back in and I guess give you a new one". Informed him that we removed damaged limbs and decorated. "Well, nothing I can do then", he stated. I asked for possibly a refund- he looked at me and just stared. Obviously, they have enough business and are not concerned for the safety of their customers. Looks like we are going back to Allisonville Nursery- so disappointed.

I really enjoy going to Wassons even if it is just to look around and not buy anything.  Everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful!  They have a great set-up and lots of ideas to look at for your back yard.  My family is very impressed with their koi pond.  They have some impressive ones.  We were told that this set of fish was their 3rd set because the water in Fishers is different than in Muncie where their original store is located.  I liked that they did not give up and kept trying until they got their pond and water correct!

Throughout the year they hold different events.  Everyone that I have been to has been wonderful!  They even bring in other local businesses to promote them during their events.  Their selection of plants in the spring is very nice!

Stay away if you like being given different information and pricing and policy depending on who you talk to and a run around for 3 weeks. This company in my opinion does not work with customers in good faith and in an ethical manner.I will never do business with them again and i will tell others of the incident in detail to have them avoid them also. if i could give a zero rating i would.

Went to Wasson nursery, to pick up mums from my grandson's school fundraiser. Almost everyone was so rude except the young who went to get my mums. I could understand if they had a lot of customers, but it was empty only one other customer. The lady behind the desk giving me my ticket to claim my mums, was so rude. Will nor be back.

When this place first opened I was not a fan. Even so, I've been here a few times and discovered some things I loved (some garden decor-never any plants as it's a small selection of nothing special).

After today though, I'm never going back. If there was a negative star rating, Wasson's deserves it.

On my way in from the parking area today I saw three giant pots-normally $200 each, marked down to 60%. I browsed the whole store, and inquired on the price of a fit pit. The woman in the nursery yard was helpful in getting the price, as it was not tagged. I decided against the fire pit, but wanted to get the pots. I explained that I'd like to buy the pots, but as they would not fit in my car, I'd have someone pick them up. The woman in the nursery yard was helpful and took the upc inside to ring me up.

The woman from the yard explained to the older woman at the register that I was buying the containers and wanted to pick them up later. She asked, can you pick them up today? I said no, that it would be in the next few days. "We can't hold sale items" the older woman at the register said. "Even if I pay for them?" I asked. "No," she said, “we don't have the room to hold things, and we have our pumpkin event in a few days".

If you've ever been to this place it occupies like what is probably 8+ *sparsely-merchandised* acres for being supposedly some sort of "outdoor living" center. There's plenty of space EVERYWHERE to tuck three pots for a few days. I said "never mind" and left.

Between my own purchases and the purchases I make for work (which is what these pots were for) probably spend $10,000 a year on garden supplies, like pottery, perennials, annuals, stone, accessories and more.

Prior to Allisonville Nursery being being taken over by Sullivan's they'd always tuck my purchases behind their barn until my team could pick them up. I now spend almost all my garden budget at Rosie's Gardens. They are great people who appreciate me as a customer and value my business. Go there!

Also, at Rosie's I just bought a 7 gallon Firelight tree-form hydrangea-I got it on sale, 20% off $169. The same plant at Wasson's was $215.

Do yourself a favor and stay away. There's other local nurseries who will value your business!

I would rather not even give one star. I spent $300 last weekend on their annuals. I was gone and could not cover them. And had I been able to, they said they suggest to cover for freezing but never did. They are all dead and they will not replace anything. I have always gone here even though overpriced, but will never shop here again. She said it isn't their problem. And that is fine. I'm not their customer.

I took a friend to the Holiday Open House and it was great! There were plenty of friendly staff members around to answer questions and the store looked amazing. The lines were long to check out but it moved quickly. Thanks for a fun Sunday afternoon. I am in the holiday mode now.

One of my favorite places to visit during the long late days of COVID to help get my gardening off the ground.

With safe practices in place, I was able to get what I needed for my gardening and landscaping ideas. I had some nice suggestions from the personnel as well. A bit in the pricey side, however, I found things at Wasson I wasn't able to find other places.

And, the kids loved the Koi pond!

Just spoke with a representative in the lawn and garden center, asked her if they have forsythia plants, she responded no, asked her what size pot they come in, she didn’t know, asked her what price per plant, she didn’t know, asked her are you getting a shipment in, again she didn’t know. Seems like Wassons needs to educate their employees better.

Extremely disappointed in the way we were treated this morning. My family arrived at Wassons right around 9 am to pick up a school fundraiser order. I arrived a few minutes later as I had to pick my son up from practice. I arrived and went inside to let them know of our order pick up and was met with rudeness, irritation and shortness from an older lady and then from a shorter and slightly older male. The teen that worked the front desk was the only pleasant and polite one. They told me that my order was not ready and that we had to come back later. I stated that I had family that came from across town to assist with the order and eyes began to roll and heavy sighs of frustration were given and with much attitude I was told that we would had to wait because it would take some time to get the order ready. I explained that the last year we arrived to pick up an even larger order and they were ready and all we had to do was load up and leave. Then the shorter guy in a very condescending tone says, “we’ll someone must have called ahead”. Ummm…no. I was in charge of that as well and never called ahead. There’s never been instruction given to do so and therefore I did not. We arrived and our order was ready. So they then decided, visibly bothered and irritated that I had the nerve to show up to pick up my order decided to go and sort my order. I don’t know if there’s been a change in management or what but they were absolutely HORRIBLE today. We sold over 80 mums the last time and over 60 this time. Last time ran extremely smoothly and the staff were nice amd helpful. Exact opposite of today. I’ve also order flowers for my home from them but clearly my business and support is not needed or wanted by them so they definitely will not get it again. EVER! I don’t usually post reviews but the way we were treated was absolutely unacceptable. My family stated they were rude to them before I arrived. Done with Wassons in Fishers!

I came in to the Watson’s in Fishers having no idea what I wanted. I have a challenging area in my front lawn that does not get a lot of sun but I really wanted some brighter plants. Marni helped me find the perfect perennials that were lush and colorful. She was very patient with me and so helpful. I will definitely come back to see her!

We went to purchase a Christmas tree, and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I loved the way they had the trees displayed, as it was easy to see every side. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had choosing a tree. Everyone was so helpful, I will definitely go back.

Friendly staff, such a neat place! We bought our Christmas tree here, ad they way they have them “hung” to kind of display what they will really look like in your home is brilliant! Many one of a kind gifts there too! Great trip all around! Thanks Wasson!

I love this place! The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. I just bought my limelight hydrangea tree from there and I had a lot of questions, which if it were me, would be annoying, but they answered all of them and were very patient. They also have a year warranty on their perennials which is nice, just keep your receipt. They only reason why I gave four instead of 5 is because they are a little on the over priced side. They do have good sales, but they are hit or miss some times.

We bought a new, large raised bed for growing vegetables and needed soil to fill it. We purchased 3 yards of landscaper's blend from Wasson for delivery. The price of delivery was very reasonable. Delivery was quick and hassle-free, and both the woman I spoke with on the phone who scheduled the delivery and the man who delivered the soil were super nice. They are the reason I felt it was more fair to give three stars than just one.

The landscaper's blend is supposed to be a blend of compost and pulverized topsoil that is "rock free" and screened. What I found instead was soil that had quite a few rocks and even worse - a large piece of a broken glass bottle that could have seriously hurt someone! The soil was also riddled with little pieces of trash, including plastic and styrofoam, that I had to pick out of it.

One of the reasons I went with a raised bed and bulk soil was because I didn't want to deal with the heavy clay soil in our yard. Unfortunately, this soil blend was also full of sooooo many clumps of clay. I put some of this blend, unamended, in a 12 inch by 11 inch round planter with 13 drainage holes, and water just pooled on the top and stayed there for over an hour.

So, on top of the hours it took to haul the soil from the driveway to the raised bed, I then also had to spend hours breaking up clumps of clay and amending the soil so it will drain.

Really frustrating experience, especially for the expense involved.

Won’t be back. We were in there a few nights ago, super unfriendly workers. Nobody even said a word to us! Too busy making videos/taking photos on their phones to care. Unimpressed.

Wasson's is so beautifully laid out. It is very organized and very clean. The coy pond is gorgeous! I had so much fun walking through. We just purchased a lime light hydrangea tree. I will be going back to buy other plants and perennials.

I am a multiple time customer of Wasson’s Nursery. They have a really cool store that everyone should check out, a lot of unique gifts for your wife, mother or whoever your shopping for… Each and every time I’ve been in there I’ve had a positive experience. Whether you need a seasonal item or need some plants, flowers or whatever stop in and check them out. I highly recommend them to anyone!

The family and I were extremely impressed with the selection of plants! The store is very well maintained and all the employees we spoke with were very kind and helpful. Would highly suggest this nursery to anyone! We will certainly be back!

My wife and I were in there yesterday. We purchased lots of plants for our outdoor boxes and hanging baskets. We were told they have a 7-day return policy. Turns out we miscalculated and bought a few plants too many. Attempted to return the excess, less than 24 hours later. Wasson said they have a strict no return policy for Annuals since the plants could have bugs and it could bring them back into the shop. As if Perennials wouldn’t be able to bring bugs back.
It’s not even about the money, it’s the ridiculousness of the policy. Needless to say, next week we will be heading back to Dammann’s for our in ground plants. They have always taken great care of us, plus their prices are much better. Was just hoping to find a quality Nursery up here in Fishers, but Wasson wasn’t it.
