I found Blue Duck through Neighbor Serve. I was told they were friendly, honest and did good work. I talked to them and they sounded great they laid out a p,an told me exactly what it would cost and then showed up on the day they said they would and did a great job. Now my neighbor wants to call them because he is unhappy with the big national company service. Buy local and this company is great.

The first lawn service that actually wanted to help me with my yard. The others for the most part just pull it up online then quote you a price.
When they came out they were quick but concise. So far pretty happy with the service.

Great communication, let me know when they are showing up. Once here communication continues, told me what was going on, they had some questions, we talked through it, they worked quickly, but not trying to short cut anything… cleaned up afterwards by blowing the sidewalk and driveway. Nice job!

Had my first treatment today. Appears that all went well. The men were friendly and informative.

During the sales pitch, I was told that two people would perform a double-pass aeration and overseeding on my lawn. Unfortunately, only one person showed up due to a staffing shortage — and not a single seed was visible afterward. He also missed aerating an entire corner of our lot.

I immediately called the company and was told a crew would return the next day. When they did, that same corner was only “raked” by hand (still not aerated). This time two people came and some seed was finally spread, but it definitely wasn’t what I’d consider proper overseeding.

To make things worse, I later received both a text and an email asking me to leave a 5-star review — despite the unresolved issues. It’s now been five days since I was told a manager would follow up after speaking with the crew, and I’ve yet to hear back.

I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision.

Great job on the aeration! The yard’s breathing better than I am after mowing it. Can’t wait to see that nice, thick lawn roll in—going for “golf course” vibes instead of “patchy wilderness.” Appreciate the awesome work and attention to detail!
