As a new manager at Lochwood Apartments in New Albany I ran into issues with a previous landscaper during this winter snow storm we had this past Sunday. The contractor they had in place didn’t show and for a day almost two my parking lots weren’t plowed. After calling around to many landscapers trying to get fit into their busy schedules I had no luck! Luckily my husband is in the apartment world as well and recommended Lambs Landscaping.
After calling Dave he has been amazing in helping get my community cleaned up. With a very busy schedule I know he has right now, he still has gone out of his way to make me feel like my community is just important to him! Thank you Dave for saving Lochwood in a bad time!

Edited to add: Lambs commented on my post that they would reach out to “make it right”. It’s been a week with no follow-up which I think is to be expected at this point. I’ll pass on the opportunity for you to “redeem” yourself as I imagine it would be as frustrating as the original experience. Best of luck to anyone who decides to spend a very good amount of money (we spent around $13k) on having Lamb’s take care of your yard.

We had a very negative experience with Lambs which is a real shame was my folks also used them and had a great experience. Guess it’s a toss up which is a shame.

We called about getting some landscaping work done as we had a new construction and were struggling a lot with mud and runoff. Dave came out and did a walk around with us and gave us a quote. During the walk around, I specifically mentioned that I wanted the drain pipes for the downspouts run out to the woods and that we wanted to improve the grade of our hill on the left side of our home which was quite steep and we’d be fine with terracing. He mentioned backfill and straw blankets to help with seed.

Communication was horrible. We received no notice that they were coming out to mow and they ran over several items in our yard including paving stones we were using in the back and some storage crates by our downstairs walk-out. When I called, Dave’s response was “we were trying to beat the rain” with no inquiry about what was destroyed or an offer to make it right.

The day finally arrived for work and the crew showed up, minus Dave, with zero instruction about what they were supposed to be doing. Thankfully we were home and could point them in the right direction since we weren’t given a time they’d be coming either. Great crew, they did an awesome job and were super effective. However, at the end of the job everyone packed up and left. No one came to do a final look or check and see if the job was done right. There was zero communication or information provided. And the job wasn’t done right.

I called Dave a couple days later and pointed out the issues. Mainly, the drain spouts coming out in the middle of the yard, and zero straw blankets being put down despite a pretty significant decline on two sides of the property where they put down seed. Dave came back when we weren’t home, or sent someone to do it. They put down a couple of straw blankets on the flattest part of the yard and didn’t fix the drain even though I specifically mentioned it. They also only did a small amount of backfill and the grade on our hill is worse than it was before to the point that it’s hazardous for us to use our side yard.

Here in a few months I’ll pay another landscaping company to fix it. Don’t bother with Lambs. It’s not worth the risk.

Lamb’s did a beautiful job for our 30-year old landscaping! They worked with me on designing the best look for our yard, with plants we could maintain, at a price we could afford with concrete curbing to boot! Excellent job, excellent service! Can’t express how happy I am with every part of the estimate, design, installation and all interactions with staff. Worth every penny!

We also have them provide lawn care this year after giving up a national company. Lamb’s is completely reliable and do the best job for my lawn. We are extremely satisfied with their work/service!

They promptly came to my house, got an estimate for the job discussed the next day. Can’t wait for the job to start. I will update my review after the job is finished.

This is an update to my original review. The job has been completed. I am impressed by the quality of the work and highly recommend them. My side yard was a disaster after having new lateral lines installed. Lamb’s fixed it and I’m completely satisfied.

Very organized. Did a core and overseed and did a great job. Grass starting to pop already after a week.

Lambs Lawn Service provides high-quality lawn care at a reasonable price. I have used them for several years now and am very pleased. Give them a try!

I had old over grown half dead shrubs taken out and replaced. Lambs worked with me on a new fresh design, they were very receptive to the plants I wanted. The installation crew were very professional and respectful of my property.
I also had 3 LARGE trees that needed to be removed, I asked Lambs for recommendations because I was at my wits end trying to get estimates and someone to show up
He coordinated with Eager Beaver who was here within 24 hrs. They gave me a reasonable estimate. Trees where removed today. Again a very professional crew and when they left you would never know they had been other then 3 stumps.
Next time I have work to be done my first call will be to these two companies.

We were able to get a quote and a mow on the same day! They accommodated our yard preferences and confirmed twice the agreement. Payment is easy and everyone was great to talk to!

I want to say thank you for stopping by our home today, to repair the yard from the snow removal. I know you all had a long day. We thank you for coming by that night to clear the drive. As we needed to get out the next morning. The yard needed a slight bit of repair on the side of the drive afterwards. Your guys took the time to do the yard repair in a professional manner. Outstanding as promised Brandon delivered as soon as possible and even worked with the crew in laying the sod as it sprinkled.

They do a really good job on my lawns and have done some landscaping at one of my houses. They made a raised flower bed at the front porch.

Lamb's was wonderful to work with. We called for a quote and Brandon was at the house the following day. We had a quote by the end of that day. The crew that prepared the ground and laid the sod was wonderful. Polite, courteous, and hard working. In fact they worked late to insure the job was complete since rain was in the forecast. The following morning back Brandon came to the house to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. We could not be more pleased and will recommend Lamb's to anyone who asks.

Lambs Lawn Care does a great job with their product and their service! Our yard looks better than it ever has! Their customer service is outstanding. They are always quick to respond to any questions I have had. I highly recommend their company.

Lamb maintained my rental property regularly and did a good job. I plan to continue using their service in the future.

Admittedly said that they could have done a better job if they had been sent off with the right tools. Power tools died and they had no charger. Had to use my bow saw. Shifted from using screws to using nails on the timbers.

Brandon and the operations manager came out and made all well. They were more upset about all this than I was. They are committed to customer satisfaction!

I wasn’t satisfied with the work Lambs did for me. The job was simple. Trim shrubs and mulch. They trimmed shrubs that didn’t need it and they scalped a shrub back to wood. I hope it will get new growth. Won’t hire them again.
