After getting 5 quotes for a rewire of a historical home built in 1910 (which if you live in one of those homes, and have done any type of remodeling, you know the pain and struggle), Doolittle stood out. On time for the estimate review, responsive and knowledgeable. I got the quote almost immediately. Two of the other companies that came out to review didn't even send me quotes, the other two were way over priced in my opinion. Doolittle has tons of experience rewiring older homes.
They called me on the day they said they would, informing me when the techs would arrive. And then it was off to the races. These techs ran into issues, but never once stopped and said "no, it's too hard". From installing a new ceiling fan where there wasn't any electricity (thru plaster and lathe, which wasn't an easy task), to running up to date electrical lines to a carriage house/garage. Knob and tube - gone and up to code. New outlets - done. New ceiling fans - done. Fixed previous issues that were caused by an inept (yeah, I thought I knew what I was doing) - done. Outside outlets - done. Everything was done as they said it would be and when they said it would be. Polite, courteous, timely and professional.

Doolittle did a great job. They restored electrical service at my house after a fire. They placed a quote and upon completion, bill was as quoted. Workers were friendly and very positive with their work. They have my recommendation.

I cannot say enough about the employees and the professionalism of this company. The office staff is understand and willing to do what they can to help you. Pricing is very far and they worked until my power was back on. The electrician was great at explaining to me the issues and very professional. I was home alone and never felt uncomfortable with them in my home. They cleaned before they left too. Would recomment these guys to anyone.

Doolittle is one of the contractors supplied by Menards and I called several on their list to have a large ceiling fan installed - a great room, about 15 feet up. Another vendor quoted $250 for a 10' ceiling (which I would have done myself) and $350 for the extra 5 feet.  Doolittle quoted $89 service call plus $40 for each 15 minutes - about an hour estimated, so about $250 for the total job. The job was completed in a flash and the total bill was $169.  Workers (forgot their names!) were very professional and communicated with me the whole way. They took care to protect my wood flooring
and assembled the fan (and extending rod) in crazy fast time.  I highly recommend Doolittle as my experience was nothing short of extremely satisfying!

I have used Doolittle for several projects and referred them to dozens of clients. They do high quality work at all budget levels.

On the electrician side, they were able to track down and fix a problem in my personal home in only a couple of hours.

Relationship got off to a great start. Did two or three electrical based jobs in the property at a reasonable price. However when they were hired to put in my new electrical system throughout my home I was left completely taken aback. Cracked my ceiling and said it was the house settling. Covered the brand new electrical panel with a cover that did not suffice and when asked to put on one the size of the one they took down they said that's what they have. They were asked to reconcile multiple light switch and outlet connections that the home had an issue with. However, even with rushing to put up multiple new outlet covers they failed to restore or identify any of the outlet connections discussed in the briefing. To this day, I am so aggravated by the outcome of the job and the additional expenses to myself after paying more than 4k for the service. Never again in this life or the next.

The crew came recommended by our pool installer and I couldn't be happier we picked them. Dave came out and gave a very thorough estimate and came back with a very fair price. We are extremely happy with their work, their communication is great (Maverick is awesome), and their work is top notch. Highly recommended for any electrical work you need done!

Have used them in the past. I needed a 50 amp connection and interlock installed to my house for a generator. They gave me a reasonable price and their employee Gannan came out on time and did a fine job getting everything done within quoted estimate. Would recommend for sure.

Such good work by such good people! We had a bathroom install done by Doolittle Enterprises. Our project manager, Dave Wilson, was professional, super friendly, always kept us in the know with who was coming and when. He made this happen in a really timely manner. Also, the people that worked for
Doolittle and/or the people they contracted to do particular work were all very nice and did great work! We couldn’t be any happier with the bathroom! I will recommend Doolittle Enterprises to anyone who needs work done!

Doolittle Electric did an awesome job at my house. They upgraded my panel, ran new wiring, swapped out outlets and switches, and added recessed lights in the living room. Everything looks great and works perfectly. The crew was on time, professional, and super easy to work with.

The crew(s) were always great to talk to, willing to help make sure everything was perfect. They worked diligently, efficiently all while making sure everything was done how we would like. They made sure to even sneak in a pet here and there for our dogs and cats.

Honestly couldn't ever recommend anyone else besides these guys. The came in gave an excellent quote, worked to make it how we wanted it, then came in and got the work done. I look forward to having them come back for other projects in the future!

We have done many projects over the years, but our recent kitchen remodel was by far the most daunting. We chose to work with Dave Doolittle and it was a great decision. Our previous kitchen was smaller than we wanted and it was adjacent to a very large laundry room. They were able to remove the load bearing wall in between the 2 rooms to make the kitchen 5’ wider and turn the old laundry room into a pantry. It was a remodel so there were of course surprises along the way. Dave is super smart and understands every component that’s involved, and he was able to resolve each obstacle as it arose. I really don’t know if we would’ve had the same (wonderful) outcome with another contractor. They showed when they said they would, pricing was fair and came in on budget and we are very happy with the quality of work. Can’t recommend Dave and his crew enough.

I would like the owner to give me a shout. The lady that answered the phone today was very rude and unprofessional. She lost you business from the moment the she answered the phone. I would recommend firing her and finding an adequate replacement. Contact Bryan with Air Adept Mechanical so I can fill you in on details. I asked to speak with the owner but she wasn't interested in that.

We had our service line ripped off our house durning a storm in July. Called service electric about coming out and putting a temporary in so we could restore power to you house. They suggested a temporary so durning the construction process we would not loose power again. Very professional very clean and very knowledgeable! Highly recommended.
