We have lived in our house for 10 years and I haven’t been able to use our ventless fireplace due to an odor and it making us nauseous. My wife put it on a honey do list as something she would like to have fixed. I called Chimney 1 and told them my issue. They sent Curtis out who has been cleaning chimneys for 30+ years. He found a lot of dust and a few other issue's. He even found some plastic residue on one of the burners as well. He spent over an hour taking my fireplace apart and cleaning it. My kids actually thought it was a new fireplace. We fired it up before he left and there was still a slight odor, but nothing like before. He stated that there was still a possibility of some dust and a little residue from the plastic that was previously on there and I might have to burn it for three or four hours. Since I was the only one home and the smell wasn’t too bad, I went ahead and let it burn. After 2 hours, the smell went completely away! I would highly recommend Chimney 1 for your needs! I wish I would have called sooner!

Chimney 1 came out when I purchased my home. They cleaned and inspected my 3 fireplaces and cleared me to burn in them. I recently burned in one of those fireplaces for the first time and heard some loud cracking noises. I called chimney 1 and the owner came out to take a look. He inspected all of my fireplaces again and gave me some advice for safer burning. I will be continuing to use chimney 1 for future cleanings and inspections.

I called Chimney 1 for a dryer problem. With some troubleshooting on my dryer vent, Chimney 1 was quick to make the fix of cleaning out my dryer vent. Chimney 1 likely prevented a future house fire with all the lint they found. Chimney 1 was very professional, dependable and efficient. I would recommend Chimney 1 to anyone needing dryer vent services. I will call Chimney 1 every time in the future.

This is an incredible team of Curt, Cam and Mace! They are responsive, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Our fireplace installation was anything but ordinary and they responded and adapted to the problems and issues quickly and correctly to provide an outstanding product. I had used them previously at another residence for a chimney lining, sealing and masonry repair. I would highly recommend them for all your chimney and fireplace needs!
