ZLC went above and beyond! He provided a quick professional response, executed same day service during heavy snow. He not only plowed our drive, but was able to MANUALLY BREAK UP THE ICE, and salt the drive, allowing for a safe walk/drive on inclined driveway. We would definitely recommend ZLC!

Zane is nice and easy to work with, and does a good job when the task is completed. However, we had him to paint our deck and fence earlier this year and he was rather slow to complete the last steps of the job (hanging the gate back up and painting it). We did get it sorted out in the end though and it looks great now!

Seems changing your name from ZLC Landscaping to Mulch-Man did not improve the quality of their integrity.

They did work for me last year and they had a few things to finish. I paid them and they were to come back within a day or two and finish. This never happened after many many promises.

Zane reached out to me and asked what he could do to get me to change my review. I offered an olive branch and said if he finished the work this spring I would be willing to do that.

Unfortunately, after many promises again, he did not finish the work nor reimburse me for the work not completed.

Do not hire this company. Even if they get some good reviews, it is not worth the risk!!!!!!!

Came out to look at a good size job, said he'd get back to me with a quote over and over, but never did. I reached out many times over a few weeks, but still nothing. I'm still baffled why someone would take the time to come out but never give a estimate

I called on Thursday, September 5 and left a message with Zane. He contacted me the next day, and offered to come take a look that Sunday. After negotiating a price, we set a date for the work on Tuesday, Sept. 10 to start at 8:30 and work till 5:00.

That morning, almost two hours after they were due to start, he sent a text saying that they were getting a tire repaired. Didn't see them that day.

The next day, the 11th, they came and seemed to work efficiently. I asked them to rehab a few planters and get rid of some rock, replacing shrubs in one and seeding over two others to delete them.

They got five of the six planters done that day, and I paid them $1,400 shortly before they left, saying they'd need to return to finish the last and most difficult planter.

I haven't seen them since. They left their dewalt charger, a half ton of rock and weeds in my driveway, and the two shrubs they'd brought in their pots on the half-renovated planter.

We've exchanged texts several times since, always with apologies and half-commitments to return and finish. They've said they'd come back three times now - once the following day, once before the end of the week of the 17th, and again on the 24th.

As of now, end of day on the 24th, I've seen and heard nothing and finally had to move the rock from my driveway myself to avoid HOA fines, mostly dumping it back into the unfinished planter.

Don't use ZLC. And if you do, don't give them a dime until everything is finished. You won't see them again.

Earlier this summer we had Zane and his crew with Mulch-Man Landscaping do a major removal of wide thick/woody ground cover from a 15 ft. wide border around the perimeter of our backyard. They also put landscaping fabric down at our request and placed mulch. The project turned out to be quite involved. Zane made sure he had the correct equipment and people here. They took great care to not disturb plantings we wanted to keep. They also removed some precariously hanging large tree branches which were hanging over our neighbor's children's play area. Zane communicated with us often and let us know what to expect with each phase. We love how our yard looks now!

Zane is an exceptionally talented, caring, thoughtful, professional person who did an above and beyond expectation perfection job! There was a crisis with drainage and home damage. He responded immediately and repaired everything to avoid further drainage problems. I highly recommend him!! I cannot thank him enough for all he has done.

Mulch Man is economically priced, professional, courteous, friendly, truly listened to my concerns and they did a fantastic job!! The owner, Zane handled everything personally from the quote to the back breaking labor. He did it all and he exceeded our expectations. We have had too many contractors that either don’t complete the job or their work falls short of our expectations.

Zane went so far as to complete work that wasn’t in the quote. He seen items that needed to be addressed to make the job look better.

Zane ensured I was happy with the work he completed. He made sure our yard looked better than it did before he arrived. Best contractor we have dealt with hands down!!

She is awesome, her service is fast, and clean at same time, she is well experienced and very friendly. I use her services every week and is reasonable price!!
