Electrical reviews in Hammond, Indiana

If I could leave 10 stars, I would. Finding a talented and trustworthy company is so hard to find. JAL Electrical has been everything I needed and more. Please give them a call whenever you need help with something. My family will be using them moving forward and I encourage you to do the same.

Talk about GREAT speedy service!! These guys (Tony and Edwin) came to my house within 15 minutes of me calling them. They worked hard, efficiently and we're very friendly. Highly recommended. A+++++

Very courteous and professional. Showed up the time he was supposed to
The job was completed in the time promised and area was kept clean.

Had my fourth camera installed today and as always Amazing Customer Experience! Efficient , Respectful, and Hardworking! Called Monday installed Tuesday !Amazed with the quality of work they are able to provide.

JAL Electrical Construction change out my multi electrical panels to one unit for the entire house.
They were affordable, and took their time and made sure that the panel was assigned to the right circuits.
Also, all circuits and outlets are working.
Tony explain the process and how long it was going to take.
It was one day job and he explain for the square footage of the home it was going to need 200 amps. He made sure the team had all the equipment that was needed to complete the job.

Thanks
Tony

Called because we had some electrical issues durning this cold snap. Tony came within an hour. He was able to get our heat working . Thank Goodness. We had to call our electrical company to come out , since it was an outside issue. Tony is super nice and I would use him again.

I first met Tony to get a couple ceiling fans installed and ended up having 6 ceiling fans installed - then kept calling on JAL Electrical for several other jobs. They do EXCELLENT work, they’re fast and even clean up after the finish, a bonus!! Reliable, fast and quality all for a very reasonable price.

Tony arrived to fix/repair 3 small electrical items (approx labor time 10 min at most) and one larger job (fix a ceiling fan/light). For 3 small jobs and the ceiling fan/light he quoted $450. I asked for a itemization and separate quote without the ceiling fan and he defensively stated, "it's not worth my time." He remained adamant offering a 'verbal quote' and refused a written quote. I informed him this is not good business and showed him the door. I also had a potential job costing $5000 however, I often have a new company out first to evaluate their professionalism (timely arrival, respectful, efficient) before hiring for a much larger costly job. When contractors/electricians/plumbers and the like are reluctant or refuse to honor a customer's reasonable request for itemization of labor and supplies this is a RED FLAG ALERT!!!

Highly recommend , the owner Tony is a great guy, no nonsense, fair pricing and high-quality work. He installed security system for my house and helped me cover all my security concerns and I’m very happy with the quality of work. The knowledge he has to help secure my home for me and my family.

I recently had this electrician install all the electrical systems in my new house, and I'm thoroughly impressed with their work. Their expertise was evident from start to finish. They were professional, efficient, and paid great attention to detail. The installation was completed on time, and everything works perfectly. They explained the process clearly and answered all my questions. Safety was clearly a top priority, which gave me peace of mind. I appreciate their clean work area and respect for my property. The pricing was fair for the quality of work provided. I highly recommend this electrician for any residential electrical needs. They truly lit up my home-building experience!

When I was down and out looking for a good electrician, Antonio Velazquez came to my aid. After I described what had happened he told me the truth and said call Com Ed to come out and check my line!!! He could have told me something else and took advantage of me and collected thousands of dollars!!! He did not do this!!! He is a very honest man and will call on him in my next adventure!!!

I’ve been working with Tony and the team at JAL Electrical Construction LLC since 2000, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Tony’s company was the electrical contractor for the developer of my first condo in Chicago, and he was also involved with the electrical work for the second condo I purchased. After that, I started having Tony and his team work on various personal projects for me, and they’ve always exceeded my expectations.

Tony and his team are incredibly professional, always leaving the work area spotless when the job is done. They approach each project with creativity and a problem-solving mindset. There have been several tricky issues over the years, and Tony has always been able to come up with cost-effective, innovative solutions to get everything done right.

If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy electrical contractor, look no further than JAL Electrical Construction. I’ve been a loyal customer for over two decades, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Many thanks to Antonio and his great team. I'm very happy with the work they did on my backyard. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They were very professional.
I highly recommend them.

I called JAL Electrical to get an estimate to take down old ceiling fan and put up new one for my 94 yr old mom in her home. “Alberto” came to her home-very friendly-informative about new fan-very respectful!! THANK YOU ALBERTO!!! He did an awesome job!! I will absolutely spread the word about JAL Electrical and Alberto!!! Thank you so much again!!
PS: Mom is very pleased!!!

We needed multiple outlets installed and wiring for LED lights hung in a basement remodel. We had other estimates, but JAL electric was the best estimate, and came out quickly once I was ready for the work to be done. Tony was very helpful and offered suggestions on other aspects of the remodel. The work was done quickly and the technician was professional and very helpful, answering many of my probably annoying questions. I have a daughter who may be remodeling her basement next summer and will likely reach out to JAL again. I would recommend JAL to anyone considering work of this sort.

Fast friendly on time .Seems like they can handle any problems. They found and fixed all the problems the contractor that built my garage left unfinished

My entire experience with JAL Electrical was the best. From the initial meeting to the completion of the work..everything was top notch. Not to mention all guys on the job worked great together and very informative. Would definitely recommend them and would do business with JAL again!

I sat with a retired electrician of 50 years. As we sat and watched what JAL Electrical Construction did, for the technical and dangerous job I needed done. He confidently told me how he would do it, before they did it. JAL Electrical Construction did exactly what they were supposed too, actually they did more and all for a reasonable price. These guys don't deserve 5 stars, they deserve 10 STARS. Im very grateful to these people.

JAL Electrical Construction LLC did a fantastic job re-wiring my entire 1940 home. They were extremely professional and conscientious. They showed up on time every day and cleaned up after themselves each afternoon. I work from home and they were extremely thoughtful and quiet. Not only did they completely upgrade my home, they also made great suggestions on improving the placement of several outlets. I’m absolutely thrilled with their work and I would highly recommend them.

Antonio and his crew were very professional and friendly, they were on time and did a great job. definitely will be using them again, and will be well recommended..

JAL Electric Construction is the best company out there. I had them install cameras and entertainment system in my home that exceeded my expectations. The most impressive work was done at our store. They upgraded and added a breaker panel, outlets for coolers, and freezers. Installed cameras in and out to be viewed from the counter and office. Setup our ceiling speakers and TVs for entertainment, POS system wiring from office to checkout, and the alarm equipment. They also did more work that wasn't electrical, and I don't want you to think they're in the flooring and plumbing business, but I was in a desperate situation to get opened and Tony being the man he is helped us. He was a blessing to us and can't thank him enough. When we get our new location, he will be my first call.
