Electrical reviews in Hammond, Indiana

Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was getting a 240 plug installed for a new electric stove and getting an old dishwasher unhooked and a new one hooked up. Tony came out for an estimate and got right to the point giving me options and was able to work with my short notice schedule and get someone out the next day. Albert explained everything he had to do beforehand and when some unexpected issues came up he gave me options on how we could get the job done. He gave warnings when he had to cut the power so I could shut some things off safely and even cleaned up afterwards!
Fantastic and nice gentleman and a very happy customer.

I’m not someone who typically leaves reviews but I’m extremely happy with the work of Tony and his team . We were looking to have a generator installed and Tony not only provided a fair price but he’s done work in our home before and we trust his work. They installed the generator in a timely manner and were professional throughout. Tony provided clear maintenance instructions and we couldn’t be happier!

I can't say enough good things about Tony and his crew. He came in with an honest and knowledgeable evaluation and upfront pricing. They came early and ready to work. They were able to upgrade my smaller home in a day. They were all very professional. I would highly recommend JAL to anyone.

Thanks to J.A.L Electric for all their help repairing 8 gas leaks and most importantly for their quick action and professionalism. J.A.L Electric put my mind at ease through this situation. Amazing work!

We were very satisfied with the work that Jal Electrical did for us. Alberto was very professional and answered all of our questions. Most importantly he showed up during the winter storm! That shows dedication!

Antonio is an expert in his field. He is highly knowledgeable and exceptionally easy to work with. His experience, paired with his calm demeanor, makes him the perfect partner to guide you through your projects with confidence.

This place has provided excellent service for my mother and my brother. My mom had some poor electricity issues in her living room after a remodel, this place can within days provided estimate and got to work. The price varies because he does try and work with your individual circumstance as much as possible.

Great service, give them a call.

Tony and the crew were excellent. They took down my old cameras and set up the new cameras in record time. Great pictures and great camera. Will be calling them again for any of my electrical needs.

Super great and fast service! I want to also thank all the team members that helped out and made the job possible. I will be calling JAL again for ALL my jobs for now on. I also enjoyed that they offer financing if you need it (which a lot of places don’t)!

Highly recommended. Very professional. These guys helped me reinstall my power pole on the back of my house from a storm that was in July. They came when the trees were removed and fixed it in no time. Great work guys.

Tony and his team are amazing!! Helped with a rehab project I was struggling with and made sure to stay within my budget, offer suggestions and completed the job in a timely manner. If you’re looking for an honest and dependable team.. this is definitely the right one!! 🙌🏾

Quick service! Super friendly and very helpful. Had 5 outdoor lights replaced on house. Finished the job quickly and great communication from the office. Found the company on line

I called JAL Electrical Construction after 4pm and Tony answered the phone and said how can I help . I told him had electrical go out in the bathroom and was hoping I could get it repaired and he said I can be there between 10am to noon well he was here little after 10am well he found the problem made the repair and I was shocked how cheap it was and before I called JAL called 2 other contractors and both were 3 times the price he was. so if you need electrical work and want it done right and at allow price call Tony at JAL and he is a great person to talk to. Thank you again Tony

Before 7am a neighbors tree dropped a branch on my electrical supply wire and pulled the main conduit off the external wall. Inside the home it almost started a fire. Fire Dept came & fanned out the basement. Nipsco came & disconnected my power. Frantically I'm calling electricians to get someone out. JAL was the most responsive, they promised to get someone there by noon. They beat that by almost an hour got straight to work, found internal damage to the wiring inside, replaced all the damage and made my house safe again. Albert was thorough, efficient and worked diligently to get the job done. Thank you JAL for your fantastic service and adding Full House Surge Protection.

Great service, reasonable prizes! I called him at 8am about a fallen meter/power line and he had it back up and running by 1pm

JAL installed Simplisafe security system for us. It was well done in a timely manner. The guys were friendly, respectful and removed their shoes when entering and re-entering the house. They were receptive to my ideas when there were installation options. Thankfully they brought their own doorbell and had to install it when the one I bought didn't work. When installing the doorbell one of them even knew how to go through the Simplisafe prompts know my phone when I didn't know how to do it. They are not inexpensive but I'm very satisfied with the work they did and would use them again.

Tony was prompt, communicative, and flexible with scheduling. His team that came to do the electrical work we needed were wonderful and courteous. I felt that the estimate we received was fair and payment was easy. We’ll definitely use JAL for our future electrical needs and would recommend them to anyone in search of a solid election company.

JAL Electrical Construction put two new outlets in, mounted two tvs and a light fixture. They were extremely professional, communicated effectively and timely. They asked questions to help me make the best decisions for the upgrades in my home, they gave me a reasonable quote for the work. Alberto was on time, did an amazing job, let us know what he was going to do for each project in the home. He provided solutions for one of the tv mounts that we had. .I will be recommending them to neighbors and others in the area.

Appreciate Tony for coming out rewiring the whole house. Originally just wanted to do a few things to my rental property but He gave me feedback on what he saw and what should be updated with it being an older house. He and his team got the job done quickly. Highly recommend and use again

JAL was recommended to my by several colleagues. I can’t say enough positive things about this company. Tony responded to my electrical emergency in record time. He was on site with a very reasonable proposal within a couple hours. The very next day he and his crew were on the job and solved the problem. Highly professional yet personable. I will continue to trust them either way any future needs.

I would like to share this review to Tony and his crew on the excellent job they did to restore power to my detached garage. Their expertise in the electrical solutions is the best. I highly recommend to use their services for your electrical needs.
