Great Service! Heath spent time listening to my landscape ideas and made great suggestions. They created a new landscape bed, planted 3 arborvitaes and 2 knock out roses. Work was completed timely, they cleaned up after and even blew the fall leaves off our driveway without being asked. I use Heath Outdoor each year for spring clean-up, mulch & trimming my shrubs. They always do a fantastic Job!

Retained Heath Outdoor for a few projects in my front yard.

Work was sloppy, left exposed unpainted wood and extra materials that I had to cleanup.
Watering & Maintenance instructions non-existent: "water the plants". I lost a few plants due to incorrect watering.
Did not clean gutters as per quote.
Lantern was replaced, but not working.

They did come back and fix sloppy construction and gutters, but lantern still does not work, even after they tore up my new sod to trace the electrical run!

They also had the gall to invoice me for additional materials they consumed on the warranty job, when the original invoice was treated as Fixed Fee, not Time and Material.

I don't know if my landscaping job was just too small for them to care about. It shouldn't take multiple warranty calls to get work completed, especially at this price point.
Would not recommend using this company.

Travis acknowledged that they dropped the ball on post-job communication.

Justin was awesome to work with! He came out and heard what my wife and I wanted and what he came up with blew us away!
Celerino and team were fantastic to work with! He came by the next day after the project was done to follow up and make sure the project was completed to our expectations! This level of service is unmatched! We will absolutely use them again for future projects!

My husband & I have used Heath Outdoor for landscape projects and maintenance over the last five years and have been very happy. The crew is always friendly, hardworking and patient with my questions & "what ifs". I also appreciate that they clean up after themselves. We've used others to "test the water" after haven't been as happy. On the rare occasions I wasn't happy, Heath has been in contact with me instantly and remedied the issue.

Dennis and his crew did a beautiful job on my new paver patio! They started and finished even before the estimated schedule. The crew was very polite and professional and worked hard long hours removing my crumbling, old paver patio, before creating a beautiful new space.

They did a great job transforming our backyard into a space we could be proud of! We needed help because after four years in our home, we had let our landscape maintenance needs get out of control and most of our grass areas were dying. Heath came by to discuss ideas on how to improve our landscaping and make our backyard more functional for our needs, while staying within our budget. They cleaned and freshened up our mulch beds, replaced undesired plants with prettier low-maintenance ones, and installed sod to replace our dead grass. We also asked to have our brick patio reconfigured and new steps built from our back door landing so that we could have direct access to the patio. Heath designed it in a way that reused the existing brick to help keep costs down. His crew was very professional and the work was completed in less than two days. We now have a backyard that we feel will be much easier for us to maintain in the future. I'm so happy we hired Heath Outdoor!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with Heath landscaping, especially Dennis. His creativity and passion is contagious. We love how our landscaping turned out. It makes a huge difference in the appearance of our home. Their crew is professional and timely. All of our neighbors have complemented the new landscaping.

We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Heath Outdoor. The design and installation were first rate. The response to our inquiry was quick. Everyone was professional and friendly. The end product is beautiful. Dennis was a pleasure to work with. We will continue to use them on future projects!

We are new to the area and were unsure who to call for yard clean up and dirt haul away after a fencing install. We came across Heath Outdoor LLC on Angies List and decided to give them a try after recieving two bids that were way out of the price range we were wanting to spend. They were very friendly and professional, and incredibly price competitive! We did not hesitate and booked our job with them right away. The crew that did the work the very next day (excellent turn around time!!!) was prompt and efficient, and very nice. Not to mention the phenomenal job they did! They used hand tools and were very gentle on our new sod, leaving our yard clean and our grass in great shape! We will definitely be returning to Heath Outdoor for our future landscaping needs! I cannot speak highly enough about them!!

I called Heath Outdoors and from time of quote to work completed was under a week! This is a VERY responsive company who does great work quickly, without sacrificing quality. They replaced a sidewalk, re-graded my yard, seeded and fertilized it, and put in a rock wall behind my pool in a matter of 24 hours. Excellent company to work with! Highly Recommended!

We requested a quote for a paver patio, walkway, and some landscaping from Heath Outdoor. Ashli was great and promptly replied to our request. She said that the next available on-site consultation was in ~2 weeks. This was longer than other companies, but considering the time of year, this was understandable. Robyn called and let us know that she would be a little late. This was no problem at all and the call was appreciated. We had a great discussion, and I showed her different designs that I liked in the books that she brought. I didn’t hear anything for a week, so I sent an email to follow up. I’ve never heard of contractor taking more than a week to follow up with a customer and to provide a quote. Robyn said that she was busy but we were next in line for receding a quote. This was May 31st. It’s been more than 6 weeks since we had our on-site consultation, and we’ve heard nothing. The lack of communication is so unprofessional. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have waited for the consultation. I should have gone with the other company. Very disappointing and a waste of time. Heath Outdoor looks like they have some great designs, but their service is far from acceptable.

Originally gave 1 star due to no followup after the consultation and never receiving a quote. However, after writing this unsatisfactory review, Heath Outdoor reached out immediately and provided us our custom design and quote.
They responded to this review, called, and emailed. This response shows a high level of professionalism. Mistakes happen and things do occasionally slip through the cracks. It is peak busy season, so maybe our initial experience was one off. The design they provided is fantastic. We haven’t finalized any decisions, but we are open to hiring Heath Outdoor for this project.

Heath continues to manage our outdoor space at our condo building downtown. Heath does a great job with every project they take on. Most recently they added edging to our landscape beds and did our spring clean up. Heath is responsive, goes the extra mile and does a good job while doing toe things! Twon is great to work with as well. I can always count on him!!

Heath outdoors is a great company. I’ve been using them for 6 years on my property and every year do a little more work with them. The crews are always nice and helpful and everyone you work with there is great. Highly recommended using them.

Heath Outdoor installed a crushed stone foundation for my storage shed. The resulting base was picture perfect. The crew arrived on the agreed-upon day and completed the job the same day. The crew was mindful of my property, taking care not to damage the driveway and lawn. The clean up was excellent. As a client, I was particularly appreciative of the knowledge and professionalism Heath demonstrated from start to finish. Since the onset of the pandemic, I have found that it is difficult to find companies that will answer or return calls, difficult to find companies that will do the job well or on time. The office staff was attentive and the work crew industrious. I highly recommend Heath Outdoor. Thank you, Dennis, Jose, office personnel, and crew.

Updating my review to reflect the current state of things at Heath. This previously had been a 5-star review through and through, but it seems they have grown too much and stretched themselves too thin.

To be clear on the 3-star rating:
This is 5-stars for the portion of the company that was previously True North (the water feature portion of the company). Twon and Justin are rock stars.
But this is weighed down by the now-2 star portion of the company that provides more traditional landscaping. Scheduling is a mess, and they missed a portion of the job which had been included in the proposal - and wanted to charge me a separate fee to come out and make that right.

I'll continue to do business with them for water features, but will be taking my landscape maintenance elsewhere.

We were thrilled to work with Heath Outdoor LLC for our recent front yard landscaping project! Their team was communicative, prompt, and happy to answer our many questions along the way. Our previously bare front yard was totally transformed after Heath Outdoor had just a couple of days with it; the final design is thoughtful and makes good use of exisiting architectural and topographical features while also elevating and beautifying the space more than we could have ever imagined. They actively want to make your space more beautiful and inviting, and they do it well! Last fall, Justin’s team planted some of my favorite perennials along a sidewalk leading to the front door. Spring arrived, but 3 of the plants failed to appear, so Justin returned twice to alter the bed design slightly and replace the plants that didn’t make it through the winter. All the plants are thriving. Thanks so much!!

Great work and exceptional project management/communication. We worked with Justin to design and realize an upgraded back yard with a fire pit and new trees, and he was knowledgeable and responsive, which made this a seamless experience.

Extremely impressed with the Heath Outdoor team! Hired Heath Outdoor to install front yard landscaping that was pre-planned by landscape architect. Installation was done with care, focus on details, and high quality finished product. Heath Outdoor uses quality materials and works closely with the customer to ensure they are pleased with product selection, installation, and design. We will be using Heath Outdoor again for our next landscape installation, as well as Heath Outdoor for annual yard maintenance.
