I was referred to Ace Handyman by an exterior company and I’ve never been more grateful for that referral! They fixed a pretty bad window surround problem that we’ve been having for years. They came in and solved the issue for us and for a reasonable cost! We will definitely be using them again!

Overall a very poor experience! We have rental properties throughout Indianapolis and need small jobs done occasionally. I'd used a different Ace location in the past and it was a fine experience. With this location it didn't work out so well. We needed to have a closet door installed in front of our hot water heater. It's a standard size closet so the doors at home Depot would be easy to install. When I called and talked to Tony, I told him we needed this closet door installed, we needed the front door lock replaced since we had a new tenant, replace the air filter, and look at our stove to see if the elements needed to be replaced. He recommend two techs at 4 hours. I told him this job wouldn't take anywhere near that much time and I'd prefer if you only sent one tech because otherwise the second person is going to sitting around while the supplies are being bought, and this job shouldn't take anymore time than 2 hours. He said he understood, and if they sent two techs they'd probably knock it out in an hour and we'd bill two hours. I agreed that was fine. What i got after the job was done was infuriating as they tried to charge for 8 hours labor!! This was a very simple job and they were trying to tell me this took an entire day..8 hours!! Totally crazy!! They didn't even have to do anything with the stove so that was one less thing than what we talked about. I called right away and played phone tag and then emailed them and had to follow up again 5 days later as they hadn't replied. If I was local I could have installed this door in an hour, and I understand I have to pay more since I'm not there, but in this case they are completely taking advantage of the fact that I'm not local. If I was there monitoring it, they couldn't have charged more than 2 hours for labor since that's what the job took them to complete. I've worked with a lot of handymen over the years and had bad experiences, but to be over charged and taking advantage like this by a name brand company was ridiculous. They did offer to take 2 hours off after I followed up multiple times, but to me that still wasn't close to what it should be. Tony should have honored our initial conversation and only charged the actual hours worked. I gave them two stars because the closer door did look good. I will never use them again and won't be recommending them! Don't use them unless you have extra money you what to give away!!

Erick did a fantastic job with my drywall. I can't see where any of the cuts were made. I highly recommend him, will definitely call him back to do more work for me.

Great experience! Jason installed two ceiling fans and did a fantastic job concealing TV wires, leaving everything neat and professional. He was punctual, efficient, and very detail-oriented. Highly recommend his work!

Tony did a great job with being attentive to me explaining the issue and history behind it. Once he got into it, he showed me what was going on and kept me informed throughout the process and what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. It. He showed up on time and completed the repairs within their grade time frame. Great job all around and I would highly recommend Ace and Tony to anyone. Definitely keeping them on my list when future issues or projects come up.

Assembled storage chest, dog crate, a storage rack, replaced a lightbulb in microwave, fixed back door handle, went to hardware store and got some screws and fixed my cart, replaced my license plate on my vehicle, measured all the baseboards and gave me a rough estimate for new baseboards. Andrew was very nice and professional, and worked quickly.
It didn’t take him the whole 4 hours, so I didn’t have to pay the entire amount we agreed on.

Tony was on-time, courteous and worked efficiently. If it was possible, I’d give him ten stars!

Andrea was also courteous when helping me decide what services were available and I was very impressed that a Craftsman was available so quickly. I will definitely be calling Andrea in the future to help assist with other work I’ll need done.

Jason was on time and efficient. He did a great job fixing several doors that weren’t closing properly. He also noticed that our home might need some foundation work because of sagging doors. He was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to have him do more work.

Tony was friendly and professional. He did a quality job replacing my basement steps.

Erick did a excellent job. The finishing on the walls made the repairs unnoticeable. Highly recommended, they will be doing more work for me definitely.

I had a great experience using Ace Handyman Services. The process in getting a quote to having someone come out was pretty seamless. Andrew was my Handyman and he did a fantastic job of installing 2 cat doors. He was quick, professional and personable. He also patched a hole I had in my wall from an old alarm system. The only reason I'm taking one star away is due to being charged two $70 service charges because during the initial appointment we decided to take a different approach to installing the door, so I had to reschedule so I could get different doors. I had no idea that the 15 mins we spent determining that another option would be best and rescheduling for less than a week later would turn into a separate service charge. I would've like to have known that before agreeing to reschedule.
