I've canceled this service. Last fall, they put down the last application a full MONTH after the first hard freeze when soil temperatures were right at freezing. In the spring they came to do the first application when the soil temperature was 31 degrees with snow due in twice in the following 3 days, followed by another week of massive cold. I don't know if they simply don't have the manpower to handle demand so are way off calendar or there is something more going on. Either way we're DONE.

This company has a contract to maintain the common areas in the addition in which I live. They dud a good job fir the first year (they only had a one tear contract at the time), but as soon as a multi-year contract was signed, the quality of their work went way down. They would miss entire areas where mowing, they killed grass and blamed it on a fungus, the would mow over trash rather than pick it up (picking up trash is part of their contract), etc. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!! They charge way too much money for the crappy service that they provide. I'll be glad when the contract is up ad a new provider is hired.

I have been a long-time customer of Calvin landscaping. Over the past few years their service has deteriorated dramatically. This year, as for years past, I hired them for spring cleanup of my home— which in the past has included trimming all the hedges, pairing back trees and bushes, applying pre-emergent weed control and laying down high quality mulch in bedded. I paid the $700 fee several months in advance of when they finally showed up. When they did, they trimmed absolutely nothing, did almost no weed removal, and did a very inadequate job laying down very low quality wood chip mulch. When I called to complain I was told trimming hedges pairing back bushes and applying pre-emergent was no longer part of the service. In fact, they wanted an additional $150 for the work they did provide. Obviously I refused to pay it and told them I will never use them again.

Our yard has never looked better! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would recommend Calvin Landscape ten times over.
