When I needed a roof replacement, my daughter recommended Bauerle Roofing based on the excellent work they did on her and her neighbors’ roofs.
I called Bob Bauerle. He responded promptly and provided a detailed report with illustrations of his findings and recommendations. He also provided a quote for the project which was reasonable and within my budget. I hired Bauerle Roofing to do the job. I could not be more pleased with the results. My new roof is beautiful! The crew was efficient, responsive and thorough. Great job! I highly recommend Bauerle Roofing!

Bauerle was very helpful in discovering a leak that several other companies failed to find. I highly recommend Bob. Very professional and definitely knowledgeable in his trade

When it came time to replace the 22 year old roof on our 1948 Cape Code home we got 4 bids. We chose Bob because he demonstrated a good knowledge of how to deal with places where the sloped roof intersected with the aluminum siding. He is an Owens-Corning Preferred contractor which extends the O-C manufacturer's warranty for our Duration Flex Class 4 shingles. Very pleased with the workmanship and all aspects of the job, including his workers, the materials and the cleanup. Bob was at the worksite to ensure questions and issues were addressed in a timely manner. He also installed new gutters. 10/10 would use him again.

Fair competitive price. Honors his own warranty work. Thank you rob for "making it happen" at the last minute with our home sale.

Bob Bauerle's company installed three 22" sun tunnels in September, 2022. I paid $1800 for this work. I had some dead bugs appear in 2 of them soon after installation, but when I tried to remove the plastic trim and then the light diverters, it was nearly impossible to put it back together. So I let it slide until my wife pestered me to get those bugs out of there.

Then in July, 2025, I hired another company to simply remove the ceiling trim and diverters, clean the diverters to remove dead bugs, and re-install them. He was able to re-install at that time. When one sun tunnel had a single dead fly, which I'm convinced entered the tunnel while the diverters were out, that company returned. But the owner was unable to get the diverters (2), the rubber gasket, and the trim at the same time. It was too unwieldy to accomplish.

So I decided to call Bob Bauerle Roofing. Bob was kind enough to come out the next day (July 25, 2025). But it became clear he had absolutely no idea how to install these parts. He sent me a couple of videos showing installation of sun tunnel covers, but they were not Velux products! So those videos were worthless. I took it upon myself to search the Velux website and found a detailed video where I learned how their sun tunnels should be installed. When Mr Bauerle was at my home he was convinced that to repair one of the two sun tunnels that had slipped down from the ceiling he would need to climb into the attic space to make that repair.

I then sent a text to him on July 25 with a link to this Velux video. I indicated in my text the exact spots on the 13+ minute video where it shows how to install the ceilng fixture, the diverters, and the round trim piece. It did NOT involve climbing into the attic. The video showed THERE ARE SCREWS that should have held the ceiling fixture in place, but the two sun tunnels had NO screws at all, so it was no wonder one of them was slipping down.

In my text I suggested he should complete the installations the way that Velux instructions indicated, in particular adding the screws. He and I spoke on the phone the next day, and he refused. He clearly did not watch the Velux video I sent to him because he still made it sound like this would involve an expensive fix, requiring climbing into the attic space. He refused to complete the installation.

I will attach a photo that shows no screw holes (he accused me or the other company I had remove the dead bugs) of REMOVING those screws which caused this problem nearly 3 years after they partially installed them.

I will be submitting a complaint to BBB, asking that Bauerle pay for the repair when I identify a company with competence to make the repair. It is possible they'll need to replace these two sun tunnels, which likey would cost around $1200, the amount I was charged in 2022.

My review is limited to Velux Sun Tunnels and Skylights. This company has a number of 5-star reviews, so it is possible that they are competent in roof installations. Note in 2022 Bauerle also installed gutter guards for a section of gutter; the material used was cheap plastic which has warped, and is nothing close to the rest of my gutter guards that were installed by Bone Dry Roofing years ago.

Bob and Monte came out quickly and assessed my leak and gave me a bid on the spot. They came back the next day and did the repair before the snow came in. I was impressed with the quick turn around time and highly recommend Bauerle Roofing. Fair and competitive pricing

I used Bauerle Roofing many years ago to fix a leaking low slope/flat roof. Bob and crew did amazing work, commented on by many other renovation contractors as impressive. More recently we had a tree fall on our house. Bob has been amazing in helping us with the process; including meeting with the insurance claims agent, and tarping the damage as we decide how to proceed with repairs. Highly recommend and definitely consider this local company for future work.

Update: We selected Bauerle roofing to replace our entire roof and siding after the tree damage mentioned previously. This decision was made after getting quotes from other companies and our previous positive experience with Bob and his company. A large effort was made to minimize cost but also ensure everything was done right, something that was obviously not done by the roofer used by the prior home owners; based on the large amount of rot discovered. Bob's crew replaced the rot on the roof deck, siding backing, and added the proper materials like house wrap, ice/water shield, and step flashing to meet code. A new roof was installed in 2 days and tudor-style siding removed and replaced by Hardie plank in another 2 days, followed by new gutters and gutter guards. We then used Bob's painter, Ryan to paint the new siding and make the old brown trim match the new white PVC trim boards. We are very happy with the results and Bob was very easy to reach by phone, email, text, and in person as he was onsite everyday. Additionally, Bob continues to work with our insurance company to get us reimbursed as much as possible. Again, highly recommend Bauerle Roofing.

I had storm damage due to a storm last year in July, that I was unaware of the damages on my roof , and siding. So I began the adventure of searching for a trusted honest, fair, legitimate Roofing contractor for estimates and repairs of my roof. Bob 's company was referred to me by my neighbors whom spoke very highly of him , and I needed no visual references as I could see the quality of workmanship they had done to their home. So with out a doubt I contacted Bob, he was easy to talk to friendly ,and very competitively fair on pricing, not to mention very timely with the repairs, helped with making insurance process a very streamline.
I would highly recommend Bob and his company for any of your roofing , siding,,gutter repairs ,and I will definitely use him in the future. Thank you Bob and your crew for a job well done

They came out and did a good job on the roof, but have been trying to get the warranty information for 3 months now. Follow-up is poor. Just wondering if I had a problem if I would get the same response?!?!
