In my experience, Davey Tree Service did not follow NIPSCO’s guidelines, which led to property damage that I believe could have been prevented. When I raised concerns, I felt that they did not take full responsibility for their actions. From my perspective, their handling of this situation lacked transparency and professionalism. I personally expect companies in this industry to uphold strict standards, and based on my interactions, I did not feel that Davey Tree Service met those expectations.

We were very pleased with the work of the Davey Team. They cleaned up all the debris and stacked what wood we were keeping in a neat pile for our future use. We would definitely use this company again. The trees look great and are blooming just fine.

After a 2nd round of storm damage, a large red maple needed to come down. Very quick response time and estimate was given by Mike and the Randy team was able to quickly complete the job. They were very considerate of homeowners and surrounding property. They left the site after removal in immaculate condition. Highly recommend.

Really appreciate the work John and team did in pruning a very large maple tree at my house. They listened to what I wanted and gave me great feedback on options and their expert judgment. Some places would hack away limbs as fast as possible to be done, but these guys gave my job the attention to detail that has earned them my first call the next time I need any tree help.

TL;DR - Fantastic service from the first call to the office to the consultation to taillights after a job very well done. They have an arborist on staff, and the crew is full-time in-house. They left my yard in perfect condition.

We called Davey to see about trimming an apple tree that had grown so big, it was growing over our roof. I specifically chose Davey because they have a certified arborist on staff. I called the office and was able to schedule a consultation with arborist Isaac within a few days. The receptionist was very friendly, and I reached the office on my first try. Isaac & Mitch arrived at the scheduled time and walked the property with me. Isaac was very knowledgeable, and what I liked best was that he was concerned about what was best for the health of the tree. What I liked second best was that he didn't push or pressure me to do every little thing that he noticed. He told me what could be done, but he also let me know if the tree would be ok without it. But when he spotted the fungal infection on my sugar maple, he let me know straight up that nothing could be done and eventually, it would spread to the root system and kill the tree. This was verified by two additional certified arborists from different companies because my mama didn't raise no fool, and I always get a second opinion and three quotes. Mitch was very accommodating with our schedule. We had a specific day in mind, and since it was the following week, Mitch made it work because he said that on Fridays, they make the schedule for the following week. He also replied very promptly to all my questions that I forgot to ask when he was here the first time. Communication = 50 gold stars. Davey has many great reviews, but I was still nervous before they came. A company we had used to remove a tree 5 years ago left so much to be desired. Despite bragging about how they always left a customer's yard spotless and in perfect condition, when they cut the tree, they just let the giant logs come crashing down. We still have depressions in our back yard. I will curse their name 'til my dying day. But when the Davey team showed up today, they were very professional. They coned off the street around their trucks. They laid down plywood to protect the grass. I heard them say that Mitch made it a point to mention protecting the grass (this was one of my forgotten questions that I emailed Mitch about. It made me so happy that he took my concerns to heart and passed it along to the guys). Since it's coming on spring, I've got a lot of plants waking up from winter. I told them that they were important to me, and they treated them as such. They took special care to keep them safe. The trimming went well, and the area was spotless after it was completed. The guy (sorry, I didn't catch his name) removed all the cuttings and used the blower to clear away the little bits. When the guys were taking down the sugar maple, they took their time and did it right. The large pieces were carefully roped down. Afterwards, they cleaned everything up. It looks super weird without my beloved tree, but other than that, you'd never know Davey had been there. They left the area spotless. Trust me when I say that I am hard to please. I was so happy and impressed with the professionalism and excellent service Davey provided. It's really nice to see someone take pride in their work. I will be singing Davey's praises forever! 5,000 gold stars!

We were greatly satisfied with the work completed by Davey Tree Expert Company. They were on time, efficient, and maintained great communication. Logan, who handled the labor, was polite and skilled at his job. He even had to deal with our nagging neighbor, and he did so with respect. 10/10 would recommend.

We were most pleased with Logan and his crew for the superb job of trimming up our river birch and hemlock trees. Highly recommend Davey Tree Company for tree services.

The crew that came was courteous and professional! The job they did was amazing. They cleaned up and it was hard to tell that they were ever here except for the excellent job of trimming and pruning. We would highly recommend!

I had Davey Tree come out and remove a 26-in diameter branch that had come down last week. I was amazed at how efficient they were getting it all done within 3 hours and completely cleaned up, not even a leaf is left on the ground. I was very very impressed with them and highly recommend them.

The crew that came out to remove our diseased tree were fantastic! They were very knowledgable and so pleasant to work with.

Overall, I was somewhat disappointed with the service provided.

We have a large, 25 year old, Maple that needed cabling to support a major limb and trimming. Davey Tree service did a very good job on the cabling.

The work on trimming was disappointing. In the estimate received, they indicated that 15% to 20% would be trimmed to provide better air flow. I am guessing the actual amount trimmed was about 5%.

The trimming was performed while I was away from the house for about an hour.

Related to communication, I would rate this as poor. I asked that they contact me when they were on the way over to do the trimming. They did not call, they arrived and completed the trimming within the hour I was out.

I would encourage anyone having work performed to make sure they contact you to give you an estimate as to when they will be out and be present when they do their work, particularly trimming, as this is subjective.

Regarding the trimming, I talked to the individual who provided the quote and told him that the trimmer did state that they trimmed less than was initially indicated. However, the work they did should provide improved air flow.

Davey did provide a modest credit for not performing the level of trimming that I was anticipating.

The two man team who worked on our trees did an excellent job. They trimmed two big spruce trees and left them looking better than they had - same thing with the other trees they trimmed. They left about yard debris free - all this at a fair price. Before and after pictures of the front yard.

A crew from Davey came to my house this week to trim my trees. I received a walk around discussion of the trimming they would do. My questions were answered professionally. They did a great job of selective pruning, leaving my trees looking well trimmed, not lookin like a neighbor's trees which were scalped. A other great job by Davey Tree.

I had two trees removed that were over 100ft tall! They were too close to my house and were leaning toward my home over my roof…scary! I was so pleased with the service and expertise that the crew exhibited during the tree removal process. The crew took such care and patience to do the work in a completely top notch manner! It was a lot of work! The crew was professional, polite, and considerate of my property throughout the entire process. And, the clean up at the end was so amazing…I literally teared up! The team showed up on time and did a phenomenal job. Took down a large tree. They were professionals and after the clean up you could not even tell they were here. Very pleased.

We had to say goodbye to our silver maple after some recent storms. All Points did a great job taking it down and taking it away. Friendly folks, nice to work with.

Contacted for estimate to get 40 foot tree removed. Was contacted same day and provided estimate and went forward with job. Within 2 days, crew was able to do the job. When they arrived, I went through the specifics of the removal. They got right to work and got the job done and were mindful of limited space in which to work. Clean up was done (yard, street, driveway) and area where tree was removed was restored and now ready for grass replanting. Job well done!

I have used All Points Tree Service for both my personal house and also our HOA needs for our subdivision. Their company does quality work. They are professional, thorough and clean up afterwords. Their pricing is very reasonable also. Would highly recommend them. I will continue to use them for any future tree needs.
