Ronnie and his partner came and cut down a pine tree for us. The tree was extremely close to the house and leaning towards it; the tree was also right next to our power lines. They were able to get the tree removed without damaging our house or lines. They also came and worked between the rain, they put down pads so there was as little damage to the yard as they could make. They cleaned up after themselves very well. There pricing was competitive. We will have them back soon to trim the rest of our trees! We cannot thank them enough for removing such a huge hazard.

UPDATE:
Ronnie pulled through in a very awkward situation, if there were any doubts whether these guys were insured I can assure you they are and they will do what they need to in the event a bad situation unfolds.

There was confusion on their part as I don't believe they have ever had to deal with damage to someone's property to this degree before.

It turns out they were communicating with their insurance broker rather than the actual insurance representative. Once they came to that realization I was sent the insurance money and my roof is in better shape than ever now.

These guys are honest and super hardworking and I highly recommend them.

BEWARE: These guys dropped a giant log on my roof, then pressured me to let them fix it themselves. When I declined their offer like a sensible person and told them they needed to use their insurance they completely ghosted.

It has been two months and my roof is still destroyed and they are doing nothing.

I filed a claim against their insurance and they are refusing to give a statement, I'm likely going to have to take this to court.

Robin’s crew did on excellent job felling and removing two trees for us. One, a huge Osage Orange, presented a difficult task. Ronnie’s crew handled it professionally with no damage or mishaps. And for a great price! Highly recommend!

He was great to work with. Needed some large limbs trimmed gave him a call he came right out to give a quote then came back same day and got the job done. Cleaned everything up and it looks great! Will definitely be my first call when I need tree work done.

I got a handful of estimates for a tricky job on taking down a couple trees threatening the my house that were situated on the edge of the knobs in sloppy weather. Ronnie was the most observant and detailed in his thinking in how he'd get the job done. He's easy to work with, quick to return my call, showed up when he said he would, and gave a reasonable estimate when he could get the job done. I ended up going with another service with a more competitive estimate, but only barely. His estimate was very reasonable (one to three thousand less than a couple of the more reviewed services out there). I recommend giving him a call.

I originally found him through Angie's list and he was by far a better deal than any other tree company. Even beat out the #1 tree service in Louisville by quality, integrity and price.
He helped when a neighbor's tree branch fell and smashed a house, porch and fence in 2022. A couple years later I called him back again to get rid of some trees in our chain link fence so we could build a new privacy fence.
This time he had to remove not only the trees that were grown into the fence line but also the stumps as well so they don't just grow back.
Ronnie and his team were hired again this year, 2025 to take out two huge trees in our back yard, one with a fungus growing on it (see pictures) that was threatening to fall on our house. And later I hired him again for a new property with trees growing through the fence. (See pictures)
Not only did Ronnie and his team work efficiently and throughly but he was always upfront with the prices and the process to make sure the job was done the right way.
I would highly recommend Ronnie's tree service and landscaping to anyone with tree questions or problems.

Poor communication, pricing isn’t bad but communication is terrible.First messages from May 15th , then when I messaged about a refund he said he was planning on coming out the next day (didn’t even notify me and it was already 2pm).. now radio silence. He also stated he has no “refund policy” and normally doesn’t deal with that but would get back with me . 2 weeks later nothing just keeps ignoring my messages. 300 dollars now gone.
