Brianna Shaw was very helpful and came up with a plan for our landscaping needs. She was prompt and professional and we recommend her! The team removed some roots and deck parts we could not do. They also cleaned up an area where a tree was removed and re-seeded with a nice base of better soil.

My Wife and I are absolutely speechless!! Dean's knocked it out of the park!! They built us a patio of our dreams as well as amazing landscaping. I have to give so much credit to the individuals who brought this to life. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors already. You guys are AMAZING!! We've used Dean's for several projects. Most recently, they installed a pool for us. Although when they came out to give an estimate, they did not think it would fit. Instead of giving up, they measured and spent time figuring it out. They found the perfect pool that fit! Changed the entire feel of the backyard from something that wasn't very useful to a nice oasis.

If you’re like us, you’re a bit reserved about proceeding with your patio project due to concerns of planning, designing, and implementing your ideas and turning them into reality. No need; we had a ‘rough’ picture we’d found in a magazine, a hand drawn sketch, and some dimensions. Just call Dean. He’ll come out, listen to your ideas, take some pictures, some dimensions, and start the process of turning your dream into reality. Using Google Earth, Dean will come up with designs to fit your space. You’ll be able to select actual materials right from their beautiful yard, not from a brochure. Once construction begins, you’ll be kept in the loop daily. It was obvious to us that Dean’s Landscaping wants you to be happy with your completed project. The workmen are very knowledgeable and thorough. They treated our property as their own, including cleaning up every night before they left. I recommend Dean’s Landscaping to everyone. Hello! Im Bob Barber in Dyer IN! We were refered to Deans by other satified customers! We had them do our landscaping in the front a few years ago and we were extremely pleased! So we had them come out and revamp our entire backyard and sides of the house! They removed all unwanted landscaping and installed new walkways, 2 big patios equipped with exterior lighting, more stones, rocks, and shrubbery!! What a fantastic experience we had with Dean and his team! We wanted to freshen up the rock beds, the tree circles and enlarge the boarder in the backyard. Dean came by to estimate the project and gave some great suggestions. He is absolutely the nicest guy.

The estimate came back quickly and his office staff Andrea contacted us regarding contracts and payment. Everything was so efficient and the ladies were super friendly and helpful. We had a rain day and I was texted early about the delay.

Dean made some great suggestions, one especially important about our storm drain area, to help protect it from debris falling inside. His project manager Dominic came by and mapped out the cut lines and Brian his team chief was with us to make sure we were all on the same page at the start of the project.

They sent a team of 3 plus Brian and they all worked hard. It’s a large lot and it took a lot of rock and mulch to make it really look spectacular. The guys a great job to protect our grass, honestly you could barely tell they had gone over it and they made many trips.

Dominic came back both days of the project and reviewed the progress and worked with us on a last minute change. They were receptive and accommodating! I had a question about a material and called the office, Katherine heard my concern and got an immediate answer and everything continued as planned.

The crew guys were pleasant, cooperative, respectful and hard working. The best compliment I can give them is that the changes look beautiful but also natural. It’s as if this is how it should have always been!

We are very happy with the work performed by Dean's Pools and Landscaping. We hired them earlier this year to seed our backyard which had no grass. The yard turned out great, and our neighbors were very complementary of the lawn once the grass came in. We are also happy with the gutter downspouts that were buried as part of the project. While we had to have Dean's come back to move them due to city requirements, the team corrected the work immediately and we had no additional issues. We will definitely keep Dean's in mind for any future projects we may have.

I am very happy with my experience with Dean's. They helped me very quickly get a quote, order my pool, and did the installation as promised. The crew were all very hardworking and did an amazing job on not only the pool but the hardscaping we had done. I look forward for Dean's to come back in the Spring to help us with our lawn refresh. We recently collaborated with Dean’s Lawn & Landscaping to completely redesign our backyard. The results exceeded our expectations. The project was extensive, involving the demolition of two wooden decks, which were replaced with a composite deck, Granika steps leading to the kitchen, a larger rectangular pool, an outdoor kitchen, a new gazebo, and the installation of stained-stamped concrete.

Our project involved redesigning the landscaping around our entire home by removing an existing planter. Using Chilton Weathered Edge stone and American Heritage rocks.

From start to finish, the team demonstrated professionalism, excellent craftsmanship, and top-tier customer service. Brianna Shaw took over our order from a previous salesperson, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was engaging, thoughtful, knowledgeable, supportive, and incredibly patient throughout the entire process.

I was very pleased with the outcome. The team met my expectations for the project & even exceeded some.

Concerns: Are there any concerns or issues you would like to discuss?

My only issue was with the size of the Blackhawk Bluestem grasses ordered. They came as 1-gallon pots.
I take responsibility for not verifying the size of the containers.
For the price, I'd expected larger 5-gallon plants. Shopping at 2 different garden centers had shown me the larger size for roughly half the price Deans charged, allowing some of the charge forpaying Dean's to plant them.

I was very happy with everyone at Deans, starting with Bri who listened to my requests & provided a plan to fit my budget.

Team members, working under Dominick's supervision, did an amazing job of transforming 2 huge piles of woodchips into a neat border for 3 sides of my 60x120 arena & moving composted black dirt to create a new flowerbed in front of the house.

I'm hoping to have Dean's back in the Spring to add some colorful perennials to that bed.
I would 100% recommend Dean's if asked for the name of a landscaper.
