Excellent service! They are always helpful if I have questions and anxious to help out in any way they can. I have bought all my kitchen appliances there and washer and dryer. Can't beat the customer service during and after the sale.

I don’t recommend you go to this place or call them to ask questions. I called them to ask a question about my Samsung dryer and if they could fix it, and the person who answered cut me off mid sentence and said “That’s your problem right there, Samsung appliances are made in Korea and I won’t fix it, nor will any other technician near you.”, then rudely hung up on me. I don’t know how this business has any good reviews, because if this is how they treat their customers, then all their reviews on here are either bot reviews or just fake reviews made by family members or friends trying to make them look good. They are completely unprofessional and disrespectful.

We have been looking for a new range for over a month. Nobody has anything in stock and they wont sell off the floor. Went to Smith's Appliance, found just what I wanted at a very good price. Very impressed. Will always go back!

I bought a washer from them a couple of years ago and it started making a noise. I called them for service and they showed up the same day to check it out. The repairman needed a part that they didn't have in stock. But he was back with the part in a couple of days. Good service as long as the item was purchased at Smith.

We have patronized Smith's for many years and have always had unbelievable professional and friendly service from all their staff. We've bought new appliances plus had repairs done and it has always been the same. I would recommend them to anyone!

Great service. I have bought a fridge and I am shopping for a range and a dishwasher. They are very candid about appliance features. I have been fixing my washer myself and whenever I need a part they are very helpful even if it is a screw I have lost. The owner has saved me money several times by suggesting that I fix parts that fail often first which always has fixed the problem.

Very rude staff. Mrs. Smith treated my wife very poorly. She was extremely rude and clearly did not want our business. We tried to order a top of the line dishwasher, however smith appliance was not interested in selling us anything except the model in stock. The owner seemed very inconvenienced and angry at the idea of us wanting something other than the floor model. We also had called ahead and took time off work to ask questions, but the owner took lunch during our appointment. The sales lady on the floor was very nice, however she was not able to discuss pricing or ordering. I truly feel sorry for the staff who seem to want to help, however have their hands tied in a terrible business. I would love to buy local, but with high prices, terrible customer service and limited selection; I can't see why anybody would want to do business here.

We have used Smith's for over 40 years. I had washer problems and was in a real panic a week ago, they bent over backwards to help me even though they were swamped with work. They ended up having to install a new washer the same week, but they understood the position I was in. Thank you Smith Appliance and all the gracious people that work there!!

Smith Appliance is a locally owned WONDERFUL mom and pop type business. Very friendly and helpful. They really seem to want to direct you to the appliance that best meets YOUR NEEDS, and NOT THE HIGHEST PRICED ONES. Highly recommend and a huge plus is they do their own service so worth every penny.

My parents did some research for me on ranges available at Smith Appliances. They confirmed that they would deliver to the side of Columbia City where I live. When I went in to purchase the new range, the gal who helped me was courteous; however, when she had to ask the owner if they would deliver to the west side of Columbia City, the owner loudly said, "I guess . . . but I don't like it!" If they have a delivery range, I can understand if I'm out of that range. If I'm within that range, there shouldn't be a problem with it. Perhaps charging a fee for anything outside of a certain range would ameliorate the owner's not liking it, but common courtesy and basic customer service should have kept her from treating me like she did. I still ordered the range and set up a delivery time but once I got home, I decided to cancel the order and take my business elsewhere. What's too bad is that I appreciated what help I was getting, but the owner ruined that for her own business as well as her employees.

We needed a new part for our gas dryer. We didn't want to wait to order online, so I suggested to my husband that we see if Smith Appliance had the part in stock. They don't service our brand (Samsung) but luckily they did have a part that worked. We were in and out of the store in minutes. My husband installed the part and our dryer is up and running again. Thanks Smith Appliance! Shop local!

I spoke with one of the receptionists at Smith about getting a conversion kit for my Range/oven. She was professional, friendly, and kind. She quoted me $53.00 for the parts, and said they could order in in for the next day. A few minutes later, she called back and said that she discovered that they have a kit in stock, and I could come pick it up any time! When I arrived a few hours later to pick it up, I was shocked when she informed me it would be over $20.00 less than she had quoted me because they had figured out that they had a kit on hand that fit several models with a few extra parts, that should fit my unit, which was only $30.00 plus tax.
Thanks so much to the staff at Smith Appliance!

15 years ago I bought all my appliances here. So when they needed replaced I thought I would try a big box store. So I bought a fridge because of price at a big box store. Mistake!! So I went back to Smith's and just had my new range and dishwasher delivered and installed. The guys were on time and absolutely wonderful. When I stopped in I did not have to hunt down a salesperson she was very helpful and I found what I needed and wanted very quickly. I will not be going anywhere else. Sometimes a tad cheaper is not always better..

We bought a new set of W/D and are totally happy with them! Great experience all around! We also brought in a former student of mine, an autistic young man, who is now living on his own to look at machines. They worked with us to help him purchase a washer and dryer he could afford, fit him right away into their already busy delivery schedule, and showed him how to use the machines. They were wonderful to work with! Sasha was gift to us in this process! Thank you!

The team at Smith Appliance has always sold my family quality appliance at reasonable prices. They have outstanding customer service and even excellent service after the sale. I bought my washer there 8 years ago, after 8 years of no problems, it stopped draining on Sunday. I called Smith appliance Monday morning talked with Sasha and she and Kay gladly worked me in their busy schedule. Eli was at my house that same afternoon found the problem quickly and had my washer up and going again before I even got home from work that same day. I am so impressed and grateful for Smith Appliance and the entire crew. Thank you so much. I will always buy my appliances from Smith appliance!

We love going to Smith Appliance
My parents were customers and so are we. We have purchased many appliances over the years and they are great if you need them to service something. They know everything about all the appliances they sell and they are helpful when you have something breakdown and they let you know if it can be repaired or not.
They also have refurbished appliances if you need something now and cannot afford something brand new. I recommend this business to everyone.

Our freezer went out last night and I called Smith Appliance first thing this morning. They sold me a freezer and had it delivered to us early afternoon. The whole sale was easy and without any stress. Even though we lost a few of our frozen items, the biggest majority of it was saved because they were so quick to respond to our emergency. You don't find many companies anymore that will go out of their way to help in a time of crisis. Kudos to this amazing company!

On Friday our fridge died, so we ran to Smith Appliances and had a new one installed in less than 24 hours. It's just the right size and their service and delivery are outstanding. Maytag with a 10 year warranty vs Whirlpool. Very happy with our purchase and the price was right too

If I was to rate on only the installation crew I'd give 5 stars. Installation guys were wonderful. Went above and beyond. But unfortunately they have a sales lady that will lie to make a sale and an owner that defends the sales lady when a customer tries to explain what we were told. The owner accused us of lying, had my wife in tears, about the situation. I'll never do business with Smith Appliances again, I will never encourage or recommend anyone else to do business with them either.

I purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher from Smith's appliance which totaled a $3000 purchase. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!! I have never been treated so poorly by the owner of a business. I originally went into store inquiring about a new refrigerator. I had told the sales lady about a problem with our dishwasher in casual conversation. I specifically said we had a plumbing problem. I was quickly sold a dishwasher too and reassured they can handle the problem. I would not need to hire a plumber. Installation day came and the installers (which were very nice and professional) told me, I had a problem. They do not handle such issues generally and they are not plumbers. The installer was very nice, and we came up with a solution, so the dishwasher could get installed. I will later have to hire a plumber to fix the overall problem (which i am fine with). This was satisfactory to me, and he went back to store to get parts. This is where everything fell apart. I received a phone call from the owner, yelling at me. She was extremely rude and basically called me a liar. She told me no one on her staff said that and they do not do plumbing. She said she asked her staff and they said no one promised that. Not alone is the owner rude but the sales staff lie. Now, I understand things can happen; however, she never called with intend to fix the problem. She just called and yelled at me. I offered to cancel the dishwasher if it was going to be a problem and her response was "we'll see how it all ends". In the end, the installer was able to install the appliance; but I have never felt so humiliated in my life.

We just bought a dishwasher and had them install it. The guys were really nice and went over the book and asked if I have any questions and the young lady was also informative about what I wanted. We will continue to go back . They took our appliance away and if we need service we can rely on them.
