Interior Designer reviews across the US

Amy and the team at California Closets OP did an amazing job transforming the small walk in closet space we had in our new home. From the design phase to installation, the process could not have been easier. The quality and functionality of the final closet far exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t be happier!

The entire experience with California Closets was Outstanding! From the initial on-site consultation, with the design presented to us any adjustments and final approval, to the communication about construction progress, to the installation by very professional, friendly and competent personnel, to the Amazing fit, finish and quality of the closet! We couldn’t be more pleased with our decision! A lifetime dream come true!

California Closets is one of the bests. From start to finish we experienced fantastic customer service. Gwen did a wonderful job organizing everything, mapping out what I wanted and helping me to see my vision. The installation was also great. They pay attention to detail and completed everything timely. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. And I would use them again!!!

We first had Amy Bernard design our primary closet. It is beautiful and functional. Next we had her design our laundry room that connects to the primary bedroom. Finally, she designed our kitchen pantry. All three are beautiful but, more importantly, they significantly improved the way we live in our home. It was well worth it and the quality is great

Our closets are much more useable after being customized by California Closets. We have better space to put our clothes and other items in. Our top rack is too high to reach comfortably, but we need to call them and get them adjusted. Other than that they are great.

My closet went from awfully design with a ton of wasted space to an amazing area that allowed me to fit everything in and be organized

Our first empty nest project was remodeling our master bath/bedroom. We initially didn't plan any extensive closet remodel but we are SO glad we went forward with the closet portion!! Amy designed an amazing master closet for us that maximized the space in ways we would have never dreamed of! Amy was able to find a way to design a full length mirror and an ironing station in our relatively small walk in! Everything is so organized AND so BEAUTIFUL. The installation process went great- the installers were friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend California Closets and can't wait to work with Amy again on our laundry room.

California Closets prepared closets for us when we "downsized" from our property to a two bedroom apartment in Lenexa. Amy, the designer, did a great job drawing and redrawing my wish list and the installation went very smoothly. After living with the closet for a few months, I mentioned to Amy that I'd wished I'd done a couple of things differently. WOW, they fixed them right away. Great design, great quality and wonderful service.

Before this we had already completed five projects with California Closets in two different states. This time we were building a new home. Since our builder used another contractor he urged us to work with his people...from the beginning of the project it was clear that CC was far superior in design as well as style so we eventually convinced our builder to use CC for our project.
Amy was a pleasure to work with. She helped us create a beautiful closet that works really well for us. She and her team were responsive throughout the process and the follow up was great. Additionally, their materials and choices are far superior to their competition.
We will definitely use and/or recommend California Closets exclusively in the future.

I had 4 quotes from other closet companies, and I was surprised when California Closets offered me the best pricing and quick installation! They worked with me on finding a solution to fit my budget. I had 2 walk-in closets completed. The only miscommunication was about an extra product I wanted and was supposed to receive. I feel the products are sturdy.

The two Michaels did an excellent job of building my closet system which they completed in less than 5 hours. It is made of such great quality materials, very sturdy with soft close doors and drawers. And just gorgeous! We decided on the white wood with gold clothes poles and cabinet hardware. I am beyond pleased!

I love California Closets. I've used their services several time s well as my daughter and granddaughter. We adore Amy, and feel she has the solution for any area you want to enhance. she listens and really gives you good options to pick from. I also love the product , it's lovely and durable . so thanks California Closets , keep up the great work Sharon Burden Lee's Summit, Missouri

Absolutely fantastic company from first contact to design to install. Incredible communication and customer service. Have used them before will use them again. Highly recommend!

Smooth process overall!! Design consultation was amazing and Reagan helped create such a beautiful space for me. Install was fast too

My consultant, Amy Bernard, was fabulous. She was so knowledged with the products and very professional. She questioned me regarding my needs then proceeded with suggestions for a design. She answered every single question that I asked and also explained in detail each concern that I had. I could see with her enthusiasm that she truly enjoyed her chosen profession. I could not have selected a more qualified representative than Amy Bernard.
My application was shelving, backing and doors for pantry. Doors are not possible in a corner area; so they are open shelving.
Chris and Sam were the installers. They were as professional as Amy. They arrived on time, reviewed the application and proceeded with installation. Both were skilled and knowledged with the product. They were friendly and responsive to any of my needs. They cleaned what little mess was made from their drilling. They even cleaned the doors and shelves before leaving. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent.
Three photos are posted. First photo is entry to pantry; second photo is to the right of first photo, showing corner open shelving, and third photo is the right of second photo, corner open shelving. All closed doors have shelves behind them. I am so thrilled that I selected California Closets.

Ashley Travers with CC will surpass your expectations! My closet is beautiful and functional; Ashley was able to translate what I wanted and needed into a 3-D program that was beyond impressive. I recommend CC to everyone and Ashley will be my first call for the next room or space!

We used California Closets to redo his and hers master bedroom closets, kitchen pantry and add cabinets to the kitchen. Second time we have used them are are very pleased with the whole process: design, installation and follow up. We will definitely use them again if the occasion arises. A five star company for sure.

Ashley did a fan on understanding our needs, educating us on options and coming up with cost effective and beautiful solutions. The installation was totally painless. The installers were polite and positive and did a beautiful job with a smile. California Closets was a great choice for us!

5-star!!! California Closets was referred to us by a friend and I can safely say the experience was amazing. Drew Le Lieu was our design consultant and he was very thorough and diligent, and did not try to push us into something we were not comfortable with.
The install crew was equally amazing - very professional and made sure to respect my home by not banging up the woodwork and being as quiet as possible. The whole team communicated very well with us which was much appreciated. Will definitely use CC again for the next project. thank you!

My husband and I are TOTALLY happy with all aspects of our experience with the Overland Park, KS California Closets team and with our new wall bed itself. The designer, Drew, was incredible. He listened carefully to what we wanted and to our concern about how the bed’s closet would look in the room. He worked out a plan for arranging the furnishings that has proved to be PERFECT. He also showed us, with measurements, exactly where the bed closet would be, and this was so helpful. Drew was patient and kind and we are very grateful to him. The team that installed the closet was also terrific. They worked quickly and carefully, and left absolutely nothing for is to clean up. We highly recommend both the California Closets products and the Overland Park professional team. We send them a huge thank you!

Erika beautifully takes care of everything.
