The ceiling in our main living room was experiencing some significant issues with cracking and sagging due to the age of our house. It wasn't a large job, but important nonetheless, because half of the large ceiling had to basically be cut out and completely redone, and needed to make sure it was done properly. We got estimates from several different businesses, but found Ed to be the most knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced so we decided to go with him, and were not let down. Ed and his team got the job done very quickly, and overall did a really great job fixing and painting our ceiling. They also carefully removed an old, rusted alarm box that was attached at the very top of the side of our house, and did an excellent job sealing the hole it left behind and painting the surround area that was stained. Highly recommended, and would go with him for future jobs.

Ed and his crew performed plaster ceiling repair and painting at my house and were professional, courteous and neat. Ed told me the cost, provided a written estimate, told me when I could have the job done and how long it would take. There were no surprises and the quality of the work was excellent. We hired Ed and his team to do quite a bit of work on our new house before moving in. This included painting all of the walls and ceilings, removing wallpaper and skim coating walls, fixing plaster walls and doing an epoxy finish on the garage floor. The work turned out beautifully and on time and budget. Its been a great experience dealing with Ed start to finish, he's extremely honest about what work makes sense to do or hold off on and has a great eye that comes from experience of knowing when something will work aesthetically or not. Can't recommend South Shore Painting highly enough!

Ed and his team did an amazing job painting the interior of our home. If you are looking for a painter, I could not recommend South Shore painting enough. The crew did a phenomenal job fixing the holes left in the walls from TV mounts, pictures, and dings. He worked with us to pick out the best colors and finishes for the spaces and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. If you are reading the different Google reviews and aren’t sure who to hire, South Shore Painting will do a great job.

Eddie and his crew were a pleasure to work with and did an amazing job!! Eddie is very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful during the estimate as well as while the job was being completed. He responded to us quickly and was able to get the job started in a short time frame which we really appreciated. His crew was amazing, they showed up each day on time and were kind and polite. They took care to make sure that our floors were protected and did beautiful work in a timely fashion. Using South Shore painting was an amazing experience. They completely transformed our main bedroom and staircase. After 17 years you can imagine there was some clean up needed on the walls. Ed and his team had no issue fixing our railing and making sure it was secure again. Ed was very helpful during the process with picking out paint and his team did an amazing job painting and the finishes. They really went the extra mile and made sure we were happy before leaving. Eddie and his team did a great job. We had them paint a few rooms in our house two years ago and brought them back recently to finish the rest of the rooms and paint our kitchen cabinets. The cabinets turned out better than we could’ve hoped. We opted for hand painting but they look brand new. Really happy with the result and would hire South Shore Painting again. Thank you, Eddie!

Eddie and his team have done two larger projects for us and we’ve been extremely happy with the results. Everyone on his crew is great to work with, extremely attentive and responsive. Our construction timeline was delayed and Eddie really helped us by adjusting around our delayed schedule. They did a very thorough job making sure all the paints matched the existing walls and ensured every wall was properly prepped which made a really big difference. They also replaced some of the baseboards/trim which turned out really nice. Highly recommended, thanks again!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Ed and his team. My husband and I purchased a beautiful home, but it was an ex-smoker’s house. It needed a ton of work to get out the nicotine. We informed Ed of our issue, and he helped by informing us which stage in the process the other contractors should come (ServPro, flooring, duct cleaning), and was excellent about scheduling around those times. Ed used a special primer on our walls for the smell, and completely transformed the old 70’s style to a modern, chic, gorgeous look. After two months, there is zero smell, and we love the color of the walls in our home. He was the best to work with during this process, and I would absolutely use him again!

South Shore Painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of my house and repairing wood trim. They even repaired cracks in my chimney, climbing up high on the ladder. They also were able to color match the exterior paint perfectly. Great communication with Ed and his team. Very professional company. Everyone was a pleaure to work with.
