I have never given a bad review but in this case I would feel terrible if people accepted the great review I posted when the job was finished back in April 2024. In April 2024 I had this company paint my back porch and deck, it looked beautiful when it was done. When the winter hit, friends and family were afraid to walk on my steps because they turned into a sheet of ice. Everyone told me the wrong paint was used. Early Spring after snow melted, I noticed the paint was peeling on the floor and railings of the porch and deck. I felt confident the owner would honor thier guarantee so in April 2025, I texted the company and sent pictures of my deck and porch asking if we could schedule repainting of the porch and deck in correct paint. I kept getting told they couldn't do it because of all the rain and that they were just starting a big job. It got later into the Spring/Summer so I put a quick coat of deck stain on the porch and deck floor to cover the unsightly chipping paint. When I thought their outdoor painting and landscaping would be quieter, I once again tried to schedule . I was told it was past the guarantee time and was told my wood was to old and wet to hold paint. I wish they had told me this a year ago in April 2024 before they took my money and applied paint.
I think everyone who pays almost a $1000.00 expects the right paint to be used and that the paint would not peel the first year of having the job complete.
I retract the review I gave back in April 2024. I cannot recommend this company. I've learned my lesson to not make an expensive decision based on someone being nice. I will take the blame for not doing my research. Company said I they cannot work for no pay, but customers should not have to pay for unacceptable work.

********* was very punctual showing up for job and always responded to my text messages in a prompt manner. His crew painted my 2 story house and was tedious in covering up the work areas. They removed a very large planter box from my 2 story window and were able to patch and paint the large area. A lot of the other painters didnt want to deal with the removal of the planter box. ********* also took time in answering all my questions pertaining to the job. His crew worked diligently to complete this project in 3 days. I had a minor issue where there was a bit of overspray in one area and called ********* to ask how to clean up this area. He told me not to worry, that he would come back out to take care of it. He resolved the issue within a couple of days to my satisfaction. Im am happy with the cost and the paint job ********* and his crew did. I consider ********* a very honest contractor who takes pride in his work.

J Lo Remodeling does excellent work! Remodeled our old, narrow, worn out carpeted stairs into beautifully stained wood stairs; repaired and painted ceiling/installed new recess lights and chandelier in 16 ft ceiling space; and replaced fascia on our rooflines. J Lo himself went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with every detail of the job. He definitely puts customer satisfaction as his top priority! The workers were respectful, on time, worked long hours until jobs were completed and cleaned everything up well. I definitely recommend J Lo Remodeling for any home improvements or repairs needed. The two painters, ******** and ****** that ******* sent to compound and paint some of our walls inside the house did a remarkable job. They also repainted our entranceway to our house after we decided that the first color we picked wasn’t the right one. They were wonderful. Job well done!

Westside Brick and Masonry carried out significant structural repair, masonry, and painting work on my home in Katy during the summer of 2025. Larry Horelica's expertise, professionalism, and integrity shine through in everything he does and his hand-picked employees and sub-contractors are thorough and meticulous in everything they do. Larry and his crews were courteous toward my neighbors, reliable, completely transparent, and collaborative with me in every step of their work, and focused on delivering a high-quality result that would leave me completely satisfied with every detail. I was delighted with the structural improvements and beautiful visible results they achieved. Larry is the only General Contractor I'll be calling for future work.

TL;DR:
I hired M & M for landscaping and weed removal, but weeds quickly returned despite promises of long-term prevention. After full payment, he stopped responding to calls and never showed up to fix the issue. If you want someone reliable and accountable, look elsewhere.

My experience with M & M painting and landscaping has been extremely disappointing.
He was hired to do landscaping and clear weeds in my backyard. For the landscaped area, he assured me that he would use weed killer so only grass would grow—no weeds. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The area is now filled with weeds. I understand if there are a few weeds, but this is a lot of weeds in the grass.
In a small area of the backyard, where I specifically requested weed removal and fabric, he suggested weed removal and weed killer instead, he guaranteed there would be no weed growth for the rest of the year. Yet, just a few weeks later, the weeds are back in full force.
I reached out to him multiple times. For three weeks, he kept promising to come the following week but never showed up, no call no show. Eventually, he stopped answering my calls. When I tried calling from a different number, he picked up.
I’m shocked by the lack of accountability after he was paid in full. Mistakes happen—but disappearing instead of addressing the problem is unacceptable.
If you're looking for someone who stands by their work and will respond if issues arise after payment, this is not the person for you.

Very professional and on time. They did a great job patching and painting our 50 year old house. I will use them again!

They did an excellent job, despite us adding more work unexpectedly. After having to sand trim for almost a week, the painting was completed efficiently and beautifully. Everything was cleaned up and finished on time. We highly recommend Bros. Drywall and Painting!

I hired Erick and M&M Painting and Landscaping to do a spring clean up of our yard. It was a mess after all the wind this winter. They did an excellent, thorough job. I'm very pleased with their way.

I could not have been happier with Bros. Drywall and paint. I hired them to paint walls, trim, doors, wainscoting, cabinets, a fireplace, bookcase, support beams, mantle, and banister with some minor drywall repair prior. Some areas required a lot of sanding. It was about 2,200 square feet. They completed the job in 4.5 days. Poor Aaron was very patient with my indecisiveness in a couple of areas and provided feedback when i was stuck. It all turned out great! Further, his quote was literally half what his competitor’s was. He and i are already discussing next projects! Highly recommend!

J Lo Remodeling did a complete bathroom renovation for us. They also did a lot of small home repairs, patching, painting, we had the entire interior of our home painted, and a lot popcorn removal. The bathroom renovation was completed very fast and very good, quality work. We were on a very tight timeline and he was able to finish the work by the date we needed. We are so happy with the bathroom and the rest of the work his crew completed. He had a large crew that were very hard working and reliable. We already have a few things in mind for our next projects that we will get J Lo Remodeling to do for us next time! We also loved that this was a family business! Thank you so much!!

Westside Brick did a neighbor's house and did a really good job that is how I ended up using them. The house had a lot of cracking in the mortar joints and several bricks. The repairs were also around several door and window lintels. They did a great job, matched the old mortar. Looks like an original brick job. Cleaned up the walls and the house around the work. Very impressed with the work. Would use them again.

We had a couple of old pieces of metal furniture, a desk and a patio swing. Estefano worked his magic and brought these two pieces back to life! The customer service was impeccable! We will definitely use CertaPro for future projects.

This guy abandoned my project after taking $44,000 of the $48,000 job.His website and accomplishments are so impressive. I trusted his ability and his promise. So, I gave chance after chance to complete the job after the contract time-line failed. He will not return my calls or respond to any text or email. Two Tiny homes were to be completed in 3 months. It has been over a year now past completion date and he only started one. I have begged him to do the work he was contracted to do. I've threatened legal intervention. Nothing. My heart is broken. I took out a loan to build something to help the homeless and Mr. ******************** has all but spit in my face with his utter disregard.He is not operating like the Christian ******* he claims to be and the man I met at the beginning of the job.His excuse is that he is sick, but he is still moving on other jobs and giving guidance to his workers. Why can't he call me?

On time and in budget. This was especially important when rain delayed some outside work.

Sebastian and his painting team from Certa Pro were fantastic! They painted the exterior of my home to help me prepare it to go on the market. He quoted me a very fair and reasonable price and his painters were very professional and meticulous in performing the job of expertly painting my home. Have ya ever seen a house with new tile start to fade and look old fast? This is especially obvious on darker tile but happens with all colors. This is caused by a naturally occurring process called efflorescence. Efflorescence is a white or gray salt deposit that can appear on concrete and other building materials. Although it's usually not a structural concern, efflorescence can lead to moisture problems and structural damage if left untreated. In the case of concrete roof tile, this can increase the rate of decay because your roof is constantly exposed to UV radiation and water damage during the rainy season which makes it older tile easier to break.
