I was very impressed with Bartlett Electric. I hired them for a simple job(install 2 smart thermostats for my baseboard heaters). The technician was friendly knowledgeable and worked quickly to get the job done in time for me to get back to work.

Great Company! After building our home Bartlett Electric is the only contractor used that we would recommend. Kyle and Lucas did an amazing job working as a team to get the job done in a timely manner. I was surprised how thorough they were during the cleanup process - they made sure everything was back in place and any residues or materials were cleaned up to the point that it didn't even look like they were there! Kyle also took the time to walk me through all of the work, answer my questions, and explain in a way that I could understand fully. Kyle was also sure to double check my hand-written check list of concerns before leaving to ensure everything was covered. They brought my 60amp house up to a 200amp, took the meter outside and replaced the full paneling including a lot of outlet and wiring installation.

We just had Bartlett Electric out for a couple electric projects including installing a baseboard heater in a bedroom, adding a dedicated line for a sump pump, adding a few outlets and switching out a light fixture. Josh and Dylan were great to work with! They were considerate of our home as if it were theirs. They had great attention to detail and kept us in the loop as they worked asking questions and answering any of ours. The office staff were timely and communicative leading up to the project. First off hands free driving went into effect July 1st, why is it your employee is driving looking at their phone. In doing so they barely noticed a vehicle about to turn into a golf course slammed on their brakes which in turn me and the other vehicle behind them had to lock up our brakes due to them not paying attention to the road in front of them in which no one can see around them. Afterwards they were swerving between the lines, a slap on the wrist is fine until something more serious happens, they’re driving a billboard around very unprofessional.

They did a great job installing a sub panel in our garage. This panel is now powering our Tesla charger and will allow an additional charger if one is ever needed.

The crew was very professional and proficient when installing additional outlets and ceiling fan mounts in my garage. They encountered some unforeseen issues preventing the wiring from being installed within the walls, which required conduit on the wall surfaces. The conduit was installed in an aesthetically pleasing manner and overall the workmanship was professional and polished. I recommend their services and will use them again for my future electrical needs.

I hired Custom Electric to install several outlets, a new light fixture, and TV wall hangers along with a whole home surge protector. They quoted and quickly got me scheduled. The electrician was on time, polite, and did exactly as quoted. I do recommend Custom. The total cost was on the high side, but not as important given my need to get work completed in between home construction projects.

We were looking to install a whole house generator, in the event of an outage. First company we contacted was Custom Electrical Services Des Moines. Blake, the main man of the operation, came right out and gave us an estimate, to include replacing all of our smoke/carbon alarms. Not long after we called them, they were on the job. First off, they discovered we had had a fire in our meter box. They called Mid-American Power to assist in the replacement. We were very fortunate to have that discovered. After that, installation, hook ups, inspections, and the final Ta-Dah on the day they promised. Our new, whole house, Generic generator, and smoke/carbon monoxide detectors are all working great. The whole team was outstanding, including Mattie, the operation dispatcher. We totally recommend this company for any job. They care. Thank you Custom Electric.

Vincent did a good job fixing what I asked to be fixed and I have future things in mind to be done. I felt they were a little pricey though.
