Incompetent electrician left an entire bedroom with an open ground after they failed to correctly hook up the ground when I had them add a junction box in the attic. Electrician had his helper up there who clearly didn’t know what he was doing. Had to hire some else to fix it.

Not a great experience. It cost $69 for them to visit, but nearly $400 for them to diagnose the problem. I don’t understand this business model. I will definitely call another company next time.

Jackson and Vincent were both on time for the calls and completed the project on-time and budget and clean up nicely. A job well done!

Our service included a Generac whole home backup generator installation and an addition of a outdoor outlet. Danny G and his apprentice came to give the initial estimate for the generator. I was impressed with Danny's knowledge and thoroughness of his review and listening to understand our questions and concerns. I was so impressed I requested that he complete the work. I highly recommend Danny as the technician and Custom Electrical Services for their services!

Had a very positive experience with Blake. We needed two tasks completed to comply with the inspection of our home before closing. Blake arrived on time, he checked out the two minor issues, showed me an estimate of cost, and then quickly made the repairs. He took before and after photos to go with the paid invoice which we could send to the buyers, so they could see the work was completed. He was very polite and professional. We will use your business again if we need electrical work done in the future.

Alec is friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll will have him back in the future as I continue to update my home.

Though our emergency appointment was simply a flip of a switch (literally...) Alec made sure to make use out of his time since our original problem was solved in just a few minutes. He went above and beyond to ask for further electrical problems he could help with.

Update: We had CES come a second time to install an outlet on a dedicated circuit in the basement for a new treadmill. The manufacturer’s recommendations were a bit complicated but the tech who came out found a solution and was very pleasant to work with.

We needed to have a Tesla charger installed and went with CES as they’re a certified installer. I had to follow up a few times on the appointment (perhaps the permits took longer than expected?) but we’re satisfied! Also had a whole-house surge protector installed (the membership saved us a lot on both projects) and plan to have them do our electrical when we finish the basement.

Vincent T was awesome. I appreciated his extra efforts to install a cascading light fixture with stained glass globes. He was assisted by Jason T

Alex was great! He came to do my estimate about a week ago and thoroughly explained everything to me, making it an easy choice. Danny came alone with Alex today to install my ceiling fan in my living room. The guys were courteous, respectful and very good natured. They cleaned very well after themselves too. Great guys and great representatives of their company.

Custom did a great job running electrical and installing lighting in an unfinished room in our basement. Alec showed up right on time, was professional, friendly, and communicated what he was doing throughout the project and when he was done. We have used custom in the past and will be calling them for any future needs!!! Thank you guys!!

We have used Custom Electrical Services several times and the ease of scheduling, communication, and service they provide are exceptional. Blake was efficient but also thorough, ensuring we were happy with the work before he left. We love the deck fan, front exterior light fixtures, and the Wiz V2 entrance light he educated me on and its use for security, but also aesthetics! 🟣🟢💡 🔴🟠

The electrician didn't seem to have the knowledge how to wire in an light sensor and a switch. He worked quite a while when I asked him how it was going he said that this was his third try and he was pretty sure it was going to work. As it ended up I need to leave the switch on all the time. This was the first time I had any difficulty with Custom Electrical Services. That's the reason I gave four stars was for past service

Custom Electric just called YEARS later after they did work at my property demanding a $120 membership fee due to a 'significant' discount that was given ($1600) on electric work they did. When in fact, the membership fee was paid and (because of the membership fee) they wired my parents brand new build. Everything was under one account even though it was two separate addresses.

They finely decided to 'waive' the $120 membership fee.

Great customer service and way to do business. We went with Custom because a friend worked with the owner years ago, so word of mouth. But this place is nothing but corporate money hungry people that cannot get their records straight. Would not recommend.

Both of our techs, Blake and Jackson, were very professional, kind and highly qualified. We felt very good having them in our home and taking their time to do good work.
