Capital Landscaping is great! We used them for our mowing needs. They showed up on time, was professional in appearance, and made sure to clean up after they left. I recommend Capital Landscaping for any mowing or landscaping needs to my friends and colleagues.

Waited 2 weeks for an appointment, took time off work to meet with them and they didn't show up. So I called them to see why and the lady said they decided this morning it was far to drive. A phone call would have been nice as a courtesy. Not even apologetic on the phone.

They are nice and professional, however, punctuality is lacking. We received a bid, accepted the bid and were put on a list. Utilities were located and flagged. I was asked to keep my yard below 2 inches with 50 flags to mow around for an amount of time that could not even be speculated. I did so for two weeks. When I expressed my frustration and asked if we could get an estimated timeframe. We were dropped from the list and told they don’t want work with us.

The entire team at Capital from design, to the workers, to the irrigation team took care of the landscape job at our home in a professional and timely manner. They communicated well when they had concerns and responded when I had concerns. We will work with them again in the future.

I have been a client of Capital Landscaping for nearly ten years. They did a magnificent job designing my landscaping around the plants I enjoyed - completely with me in mind. Many neighbors have made comments on how attractive my yard is. One neighbor said I had the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood! I had a very good experience with Capital Landscaping. I needed a fairly large retaining wall built along my driveway. Phil quoted what I thought was an honest price and his crew got the job done in a timely manner. All my neighbors have had nothing but good comments. This spring I decided to approach the next door neighbor's lawn care people (Capital Landscaping) to mow my lawn also.
The experience has been awesome. The team comes regularly, they do exactly what we agreed upon, and they immediately incorporated the feedback and requests I gave to them when I wanted things done differently.

We had such a great experience with Capital Landscaping, we hired them twice. First to do a backyard patio that Aaron., the landscape architect, came up with an attractive design that upgraded our backyard. Then we hired them back to redo the entry to our driveway with a boulder-wall edging, a rain garden to help with drainage, and new front bed design with a limestone terracing wall. Not only did they improve our curb appeal, but they were great to work with. They were professional, on time, and answered our neighbor’s concerns about the design with a thumbs up from him. We would hire them a third time.

My lawn used to have bare patches and plenty of weeds. Capital Landscaping has taken care of it for the past several years, and it now looks beautiful. (It has taken a while, because the lawn was in such bad shape before I hired Capital.) The cost is reasonable, the customer service has always been friendly and the results are terrific. I recommend this company.

UPDATE (November, 2020): I continue to be very happy with the responsiveness and quality of the work. They thoroughly cleaned the leaves from my property and accurately followed my directions regarding which areas to leave alone. I continue to recommend Capital Landscaping.

Was sick with the flu and needed help with snow removal on my property. Gave capital landscaping a call, and they had everything cleared within an hour after our conversation. Really appreciate the help, and getting everything cleared so quickly

Recently I had Capital Landscaping replace a very large deteriorating cedar bed under my front window. with stone. Lalo and crew were fabulous to work with!! They were focused on getting the job done professionally and were good to continuously check to with me to ensure it was what I wanted. Rachel the project designer was excellent to keep me updated, letting me know when they'd arrive. She even coordinated a small side project with Rene which I'd been trying to resolve for a couple years!!
Everything went as scheduled. Can't say enough positives about Capital.
I'll definitely go back to them on any future projects.

This company and its crew were excellent! I wish I could figure out how to post pictures for this. They were quick to get us a quote and reply to any questions throughout the job. Our old railroad tie retaining wall failed due to age and improper drainage. They installed a beautiful block wall with the proper drainage system. There was some rain during the job that caused a minor disruption due to some shifting ground, and it hardly delayed them. I can sleep comfortably now that I don't have to worry about my neighbor's driveway collapsing onto mine and knowing their craftsmanship will last for years. It's the company to use if you need any landscaping projects done. I will, without a doubt, use them for any future projects.

Capital Landscaping rebuilt a retaining wall in my back yard this spring. I was updated frequently by Harry Huang who did a great job letting me know what would be happening day to day. The Crew were professional and did a fantastic job building the wall and path. They left the site clean. This is the second time I've used Capital Landscaping for retaining wall construction. I have a few more landscaping projects and Capital Landscaping will get the job because I totally trust their work!

I highly recommend Capital Landscaping. We did a full yard project for a new build home... including multiple tiered retaining walls, a bocce ball court, 10+ new trees, prairie grass and low/no-mow grass, boulders and irrigation.

We worked closely with Cody and he was so helpful and patient during the process. He was very knowledgeable and took plenty of time with us to educate us on what to expect for growth over a 3 year period as well as seasonal maintenance. He was very thoughtful in the process and helped create spaces we love. The crew was friendly and enjoyable to have around as well.

Cody was thorough in overseeing the project and saw it through completion. We are so eager to see the growth over the next few years.

We just finished a major project with Capital Landscaping and I can't say enough good things about this crew. We needed a retaining wall around our corner lot property, new stone steps up to the front door, and a concrete patio—basically a complete overhaul of our outdoor space.

From the very beginning, the entire team impressed us. Every single person who showed up to work brought the same level of professionalism and positive energy. These guys worked hard, showed up ready to go, and you could tell they take pride in what they do. Every day they took the time to get it done right.

The attention to detail really set them apart. The retaining wall is perfectly level, the stone steps are gorgeous and fit the look of our house exactly, and the patio came together seamlessly with everything else. Nothing was rushed. They took their time to make sure every piece was placed correctly, even taking late changes (that’s on me!) in stride to make sure we were happy with the finished product.

They were just genuinely nice people to have around. Great attitudes and real problem solvers.

The finished product speaks for itself and our house has never looked better. I will definitely call again if we need any more work done in the future!
