I wanted to have landscape fabric and pea gravel put down in my back yard playground area. Terence and his crew did this, but in addition, made the area more aesthetically appealing by making a design using a different size rock around plantings in that area. Terence has done snow removal for me as well. I highly recommend HNT!

Terrence did our retaining wall and some other work around the house and did a tremendous job. I highly recommend him. He is honest, hard-working, and delivers on his promises.

We needed a retaining wall rebuilt as it was falling over. In order to be cost effective, we asked if we could reuse the block we already head. Terence made that happen for us, even though this was more work. The wall turned out great and they did a few other smaller projects around the house as well. Very satisfied with the work and clean up.

Terence and his guys were great to work with! On schedule, quick and quality work, and completed my project in under two days. I do plan on using High N Tight again for other projects and would highly recomend them!

You never know the kind of referrals you can get from clients. Being responsive to potential clients is a must in the industry if you want to be successful and recommended. Understanding residential may not be where the immediate money lies, a simple text that you can no longer proceed with work goes a long way.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with this company. We hired Terence to backfill several areas in our back yard where plumbing work was done. Everything was great at first. We paid in full. Things didn't look quite even when the job was done, but Terence assured me if there are any issues once the grass is up--he would come back to take care of things. Several weeks later the dirt settled badly and we were back to huge holes in the areas that were backfilled. Basically, not enough dirt was brought in and it was not compacted properly. This was in back in April and we spent the next 5 months trying to get Terence to come back and complete the job we paid for. It was just one excuse after another, too busy with other projects, not having time, not showing up, etc. We are left with an unfinished project and have to hire someone else to do the work.

The landscaping job we had for Terrence was not a big one. His quote was very reasonable. When he arrived to start the project, I changed a few things. He graciously listened and did exactly what we asked for. He is extremely thorough and made sure everything was how we wanted it. Left our place looking awesome. Thanks, Terrence.

These guys are a great, hardworking, respectful company. They tore out an old brick patio and installed a beautiful new stone patio which will completely change the way we are now able to use that outdoor space. Very conscientious through the whole process and communicated what they were going to do and when they were going to do it, so we always knew how the project was coming along. They are fair and honest and we highly recommend them.

We hired High and Tight to add some rock borders to our existing design. They were able to identify the products used and match everything seamlessly. The owner was directly involved in the whole process and his team was tidy and courteous. Will definitely use again.

We hired High N Tight to renovate our lawn. For years we have fought a hard, patchy, lumpy, uneven yard. It was hard to walk on, hard for our kids to play on, and seemingly impossible to get grass to grow. We tried different diy treatments, fertilizers, overseeding, lawn patch, and nothing worked... so we decided to get help.

We knew our lawn needed a lot of help so we didn't want to hire one of the big box vendors to just come in and weed treat and fertilize. We needed more, much more. We got several quotes from smaller, local businesses. Terence gave us a competitive quote, but what set him apart was his rapport and comprehensive plan, which he took the time to discuss with us and tailor to our specific needs. He maintained good communication throughout the job, and addressed our concerns as they arose.

Our lawn care plan consisted of softening and raking out the existing lumps and high spots. Bringing in a couple loads of fertilized dirt to fill several significant low spots and level the rest of the yard. Rake in quality grass seed, and then top it with biodegradable straw mat. We had initially discussed having Terence back drag the entire back yard to level it, rather than just raking and top dressing. When the plan changed and he made the decision not to do this, we were concerned that it would effect the end result. However, Terence took the time to discuss his reasoning with us. He assured us that if the final product did not meet our expectations, he would stand by his work and make it right.

It is apparent that Terence truly cares about his customers and strives to deliver quality service and results. I will update this review with photos once the yard fills in and I have a before and after. Up to this point, I am very happy with High N Tight Lawn & Landscaping and would recommend them to anyone needing a yard renovation!

We have a large hill on our property that we have to mow over every year. Terrance was completing our neighbors hill with decorative rock and that was the first time we talked to him. He was very personable and kind. We reached out this past Spring to start our project. Terrance is very quick and good at communicating. He does great quality work at a great price, we would recommend him to anyone.

Terrance and his crew were professional, thorough, fast, responsive, prices are competitive, and our finished result is nothing short of amazing.
