Larry's Window Service employs a person a block away from my house and right by a very active Elementary School. The fact that their trucks are bright red are a blessing in disguise as this individual fly's down our street well above the understood residential speed.
I wouldn't ever do business with this company as I have called about this 2 times now. Management apparently is quite apathetic to this concern.
Reading through the various complaints about this company there seems to be some deep seeded problems that go far beyond just speeding.
I would think twice before purchasing any services from this company, and keep your kids away from the streets as they pass by, or they will become speed bumps only marginally slowing them down as they pass by.

I called a week ago to get a quote for them to clean my windows. Was told the scheduler would call me back to set up an appointment. I never got a call back. I found someone else who responded immediately. Too bad...I'm in the Facility Management business. I have been in positions to hire window cleaners. I am not so sure I'll be really responsive either if they ever call me wanting my corporate business.

We had our windows cleaned today and they did a fantastic job. We were so pleased with the work and the courteous manner of the workers. I highly recommend this company, and especially the 2 workers who came to our house today. They were top notch!

We use Larrys Windows twice a year. Every time they come out, their personnel are polite, hard working, and our windows look awesome!
After they visit our home, the view through all windows is renewed, and our home is that much more enjoyable. Thank you.

Best window service company in Des Moines. As soon as I heard they dressed up as super hero’s and cleaned the windows at Blank Children’s Hospital and waved at the kids, we have been using them. They came out to our home in Winterset twice and did an amazing job. I am now getting ready to call them to do our new home in West Des Moines. Thank you

Larry's cleaned our oversized, second story windows about a month ago. The view has never been better. The only downside is they're so clean that we're averaging 1 dead bird per week from flying into them.

We just had our windows cleaned inside and out by Larry's Building Services. 2 young men Jas and Albert I believe was their names. Professional, Kind, respectful, and did an outstanding Job!! Not gonna lie... Our windows were bad.... They now sparkle!!! These professional young men did not cut any corners :-) Would hire your services and recommend you in a heart beat. Thank you

The two gentlemen who washed our windows were polite, friendly, conscientious, and did a great job. They were very careful and even went above and beyond by wiping down hard-to-reach ledges. They are a little pricier than smaller companies, but well worth the money. I totally trust their employees and work and will hire them again without hesitation.

Imagine being so rude and disrespectful to someone for no reason, due to a misunderstanding on the company’s part. Imagine telling a customer, “Awesome, bye!” When they say they are considering going with a different company because of how the customer is being treated. I’m appalled at the interaction I just had, 1/18/24 at 2:00pm. I cannot believe a local company would allow an employee to work for them, and treat business the way she just treated us. Do the community a favor and lose the negative and rude employee and get more business.

Great service. Crew did excellent job on my home. Inside and out. Showed up on time. Windows look great.

Was happy with previous service. But after scheduling them again for another cleaning, it was a no show. After 45 minutes after the scheduled time, I called the office to verify they had today on their schedule. All they said was that they were surprised that the crew hadn’t shown up, they must be running late and to just wait. Waited another 2 hrs which was after their business hrs and it ended up to be a no-show event. No call/text to say they couldn't make it, etc. Just a no-show that wasted my afternoon. Highly disappointed.

We've had the guys from Larry's Window Service doing our office windows since 2005. They always do a very complete and thorough job and are polite and easy to work with. Not to mention, their pricing is very reasonable! I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for window cleaning or any of the other services they provide.

Larry’s Window Service is the best window cleaning company. I first used them last year and their work was outstanding. Naturally, I called them again this year and will contact to do so. Very reasonably priced, prompt, accommodated my schedule. Very friendly on the phone. You won’t be disappointed.

I have not used their services, however I have had multiple issues with their driving. Again this morning, one of their trucks was racing around and cut between my car and the one in front of me. Slamming on my breaks to avoid your truck with my little ones in the car is not ok. This may not speak about their work, but definitely speaks to their lack of respect for others and professionalism.

Why is Larry's window service speeding 50 in a 35 this morning.

Indianola Ave. Down through 2nd Ave and up. Passed every single person weaving in and out. Seems reckless and unprofessional especially at 5:50am. No GPS or speed Monitoring? I value my life. Get him off the road

Are you kidding me, outstanding job Gunner and Cole! We had Wizard last year and they never left the ground on a walkout. These boys were up there scrubbing and did an outstanding job. Highly appreciated their services!

Do not do business here and please read this review!

This business is unprofessional, incompetent, and dishonest. No lower rating is available here, or I would have used it.

On September 15, they cleaned our windows and left an invoice on our front door. We had never ordered the service. A relative with the same last name had ordered a window cleaning for that day, but they never showed up there. Since we weren’t expecting them, we didn’t take the screens off the windows. They removed them, however, by prying them off and bending the frame on two of them. Rather than informing us, they just put the screens back and hoped we wouldn’t notice. Funny thing is, we had already decided we were not going to use them anymore after the last time they had been to our home, and had broken a big picture window in our dining room.

Initially, we spoke to a manager named Steve who picked up the screens and had them repaired. He stated the charges would be reversed since we had not ordered the work in the first place.

Long story short, every month since, we’ve gotten a bill. We’ve called every time we’ve received a bill, and been told by Tiesha and Kathy that it would be taken care of and charges would be reversed. Never received an invoice with a $0 balance despite requests. Never a return call from a manager or owner despite requests. Now February, received a notice we were being taken to collections. Again, we called and they said they would reverse charges, and then billed us. We ended up paying to avoid collections and more hassle.

You would be better off hiring a car full of clowns or the Three Stooges to clean your windows rather than dealing with these idiots.

I am on a condo board; we recently hired Larry’s to do the windows. The team was absolutely fantastic. They were thorough and professional. Our building is a bit tricky for several reasons, but the job was done well and the crew exceeded my expectations. Thanks to An, Duy, and the rest of the crew. We will call you again.
