Capital Landscaping rebuilt a retaining wall in my back yard this spring. I was updated frequently by Harry Huang who did a great job letting me know what would be happening day to day. The Crew were professional and did a fantastic job building the wall and path. They left the site clean. This is the second time I've used Capital Landscaping for retaining wall construction. I have a few more landscaping projects and Capital Landscaping will get the job because I totally trust their work!

I highly recommend Capital Landscaping. We did a full yard project for a new build home... including multiple tiered retaining walls, a bocce ball court, 10+ new trees, prairie grass and low/no-mow grass, boulders and irrigation.

We worked closely with Cody and he was so helpful and patient during the process. He was very knowledgeable and took plenty of time with us to educate us on what to expect for growth over a 3 year period as well as seasonal maintenance. He was very thoughtful in the process and helped create spaces we love. The crew was friendly and enjoyable to have around as well.

Cody was thorough in overseeing the project and saw it through completion. We are so eager to see the growth over the next few years.

We just finished a major project with Capital Landscaping and I can't say enough good things about this crew. We needed a retaining wall around our corner lot property, new stone steps up to the front door, and a concrete patio—basically a complete overhaul of our outdoor space.

From the very beginning, the entire team impressed us. Every single person who showed up to work brought the same level of professionalism and positive energy. These guys worked hard, showed up ready to go, and you could tell they take pride in what they do. Every day they took the time to get it done right.

The attention to detail really set them apart. The retaining wall is perfectly level, the stone steps are gorgeous and fit the look of our house exactly, and the patio came together seamlessly with everything else. Nothing was rushed. They took their time to make sure every piece was placed correctly, even taking late changes (that’s on me!) in stride to make sure we were happy with the finished product.

They were just genuinely nice people to have around. Great attitudes and real problem solvers.

The finished product speaks for itself and our house has never looked better. I will definitely call again if we need any more work done in the future!

Tiffany, Greg, Alex and crew were wonderful to work with and did a great job on our paver patio. They were professional and were within the estimate they provided. Greg was very patient with all the questions I had during the project. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a landscaping project.

We have worked with Alex of Iowa Landscape Group for years on many different projects around our acreage & are very satisfied (& repeat) customers. Of all the contractors we have ever hired, he is by far the most-responsive & conscientious. The work they do is also top-notch, everything from simple grading & seeding to complex irrigation installs. I cannot say enough good things about the work they do, & Alex in particular.

Our existing landscape was beginning to lean after 17 years and needed some serious work to repair or completely replace the entire thing. We decided to replace it after discussions with Alex who is amazing to work with. He explains things very well and will provide ideas on the best approach to replacing from blocks to design. We decided we wanted it to look the same in design, just with new blocks and new accent blocks. They were pretty good pricing and tore out all the old block and replaced with all new. They did a great job at ensuring it had the same design and looks much more modern now. We added some additional lighting and a new timer that can be controlled via your phone. Overall they did a great job and I would recommend them if your looking for landscape work to be done.

Ryan.& Andrew did an excellent first time mowing and trimming job for me. They talked to me and ask me how I wanted things done. It turned out awesome. Thank you

Isaac did a professional and efficient job of aerating and seeding. Talked over where to aerate and cleaned up the sidewalk and driveway.

Had Excel help with moving our sprinkler heads after having a patio installed. Ryan did a great job and even identified that our neighbor had a leak in their system and that it wasn't ours!

We had our lawn aerated. Isaac was very personable and did a great job!

I have to say that excel has been doing an extremely good job at keeping my lawn looking good. As much as I enjoy mowing my own yard, I will definitely keep using them and enjoying the time I get not having to mow. I highly recommend giving excel a chance at making your lawn look fantastic. I will also enjoy not having to shovel this winter as I will let excel take care of that for me as well. Keep up the good work
