Electrical reviews in Grimes, Iowa

Jacob and Kayden arrived to fix a mess with my inside wiring today. These two young men were knowledgeable, efficient and explained each step of what they were doing and showed me what the issues were as they were resolving them. Cannot say a big enough thank you guys!!

I’m a big fan of this entire team. I renovate old homes and keep them as high end rentals. That means I have jobs of all sizes and this team didn’t treat me like a job was too small and they didn’t overcharge for a smaller job when I was in a pinch. The opposite of my experience with other electricians in the area. Fast, friendly and reasonable priced!

Alex did a great job of installing our new charger. He communicated well and was very professional. Thank you!

Alex came out to diagnose what was going on with some lights and outlets within our home. It looked like it would be a big difficult and stressful task at the start of the diagnostic.
Alex's exceptional knowledge, experience, and perseverance provided a diagnosis and he was able to fix the issues quicker then I expected, and at a reasonable price.

Alex, you have no idea how truly thankful my family and I are for your kindness, expertise, and the services you provided on our home!

Arc, you have gained a new loyal customer, and you will be my referral for electric needs to friends and family!

Arc Electric was amazing to work with. They were professional, on time, and explained everything clearly. The quality of their work was excellent and the price was very fair. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for reliable electrical service. 10/10!!

Thank you Nick, Jacob and Kayden. Upon installation of our generac, you discovered we had a bad electrical panel. Replaced panel and have a new generac. So grateful for your hard work and dedication.

Alex R. installed a L2 charger in our garage and he did a great job! He was quick and listened to our preference on location. He had everything set up and ready to go in 3 hours!

Top notch service!

I called ARC to come hookup my new hottub and move an outlet/install a smurf tube in my basement. They sent Alex out to do the job and everything looks/works great!

The customer service was excellent and Alex is a pro. He answered all my general electrical questions, completed everything in a timely manor, and we came in under budget!

Nick came to our home to install a dimmer on our cab lights for our baby room and a surge protector for our electrical panel. He took his shoes off at the door, was quick, great communication and very clean.

I was a pleasure to work with Austin H and his crew on our office remodel project. Austin and his crew executed the rough-in and trim out process flawlessly. The exterior power connection was coordinated between the signage vendor and Arc Electric and looks great. I would recommend Rees and Arc Electric to any GC working on commercial projects in central Iowa. Thanks again Austin H for all your help!

AWESOME SERVICE! I am very biased as I work for this company, but I had one of our technicians come to do a few things throughout our house. He swapped out some light switches to be dimmable, swapped out a bunch of our disc lights, added a couple lights into closets that didn’t have any lights to begin eith, & replaced all of our tape-lighting under and above our cabinets.! So many little things that make a huge difference in our lives here at home! Thank you, Hugo and Brock!

Hugo installed a new outlet for us as we were switching from an electric range to a gas range. Hugo is extremely knowledgeable and addressed all of our concerns. Highly recommend.

Alex and Jackson installed and wired a heater in my garage. We discussed the installation and the best way to complete it. Everything was done as planned and looks and works great. I will definitely call ARC electric again for future projects.

Had ARC complete a job at my place. They were fast, courteous, professional and felt like they understood how to install an EV charger with my difficult panel placement. They also had a competitive price which is appreciated. When it came time for install, Hugo and Jackson did a great job and even wrapped up ahead of schedule. I am so pleased with the results and now have an EV charger in my garage. It was much easier than I expected. Will definitely use them again!

EXCELLENT service and response times! Hugo was professional, efficient, and went above and beyond when I locked myself out of the house in the cold and had to wait for a locksmith to come. Great work, timely, highly recommend!

I was very pleased with the service I received today by Jacob Wenck. He was personable, professional, and done the repairs in a timely manner. I will be happy to call upon your companies services in the future. Thank You

They got out here quickly. And Hugo did a very good job. Quick, very respectful and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them.

Alex was very professional and got everything installed quickly. He was open and honest about everything he was doing. Even replaced a dome on one of the fixtures that was broken. I was very pleased with the work both Alex and his assistant did for us. Took all of the boxes and fans away, too.

Hugo was amazing and troubleshooted my issue right away! He provided next steps if needed. Very happy with my service and will definitely call again if I ever need electrical service!!

Hugo Montiel installed an electric vehicle charger. He did a great job on the project. The installation went smooth and it was perfect in my garage. Additionally, he provided help with setting up the app and answered my questions. I would definitely recommend his services.

Customer service, communication, and work was 10/10 through the whole process. Jacob came out to install my Tesla wall connector and did exceptional work. He was friendly and quick.
