Golden Rule Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical

If there is a zero star, I will put zero. Last Sunday, my furnace broke. The weather is too cold. I tested my furnace, learned from YouTube, and discovered my pressure switch is bad. I called the Golden Rule because I can not buy the part on Sunday, and if I buy it online, it will take at least 2 days. When the guy came, I told him I think it is the switch pressure. Before he started the diagnosis, he told me to come here without doing anything. I will charge you 75 dollar if it is a simple fix, I will charge you 150$ if it is a complicated fix, I will charge you 300$. I said OK. He stayed about 15 minutes do some tests and talk with a guy from his company because he did not know what he was doing. The 15 minutes include about 10 minutes of a phone call with his wife. He said we can not repair it today because the Lennox company is closed on Sunday!!!!!!! You need to change 3 parts (pressure switch not included), and it will cost you 4000$, but my advice is that your furnace is very old, so my advice is to replace it by new one, which will cost you between 7 thousands to 15 thousands. I told him I will think about it (I already decided to buy the switch on Monday). So what will charge me, he said 300$ but if I fix it tomorrow or after tomorrow, or you decide to replace it, we will give you the 300$ off. I said, but you did not fix it, and you did not tell me the 300$ is just for diagnosis, but he insists on taking the 300$ plus taxes 18$. I paid, but I will file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs to get my money back because I just bought the pressure switch on Monday and it is working perfect, they are scammers and wanted me to purchase new furnace from them because if i listened to the them and they will change the 3 parts it will not gonna work and they will say we need to replace it by new one.
