In the midst of frigid weather, Aaron provided a fast service and worked around my schedule to fix a bad flame sensor. In the process he did a routine clean up and provided some best practice tips for future cleaning. I had a difficult problem with an intermittent leak in my HVAC unit. Trevor Collins took the time to diagnose the problem and then did extensive homework to find the best corrective action. The problem was immediately repaired. Excellent service and professionalism, I would recommend Mr Collins to any prospective customer.
While I was originally impressed and the install of our AC and furnace, the crew used an outlet that our sump pump was plugged into and didn't plug it back it. This is in our basement and we don't use it daily. We discovered about 4in of standing water under our raised floor as it soaked the flooring, padding and carpet. We plugged the sump back in and it still worked so it wasn't that it failed. It was that crew failed to plug it back in. The owner originally said he'd pay for materials when we said we'd try to do the work ourselves because he couldn't prove his guys didn't do it, but then as we were tearing things out discovered it was more than we were equipped to do. They pulled our sellers disclosure from when we bought the home less than 2yrs ago and decided since there had been previous water damage at some point before our time that that somehow negates their negligence. They claim our sump fails which it has never failed in the time we have lived there. I am not sure how you use previous owners history to decide you didn't mess up. We were not asking for anything that was old damage to be fixed. We weren't even asking for the raised floor to be put back. Simply clean up and replace the carpet. Interesting how tunes changed. In additon, they were 3hrs late to our appointment. They left a hammer on our water heater and never came back to get it so who's to say they didn’t leave these unplugged? They put the shelves back in front of the sump which was pulled out before I left the house that night.
