Used to like it for years but recently saw b. s. charges showing up on my invoices.

Workers are rude and arrogant. Would never recommend them to anyone. Go down the street to Wright Outdoor Solutions.

Kinda cheats the small guy. $11 a ton for fill sand...cost ya $33...$30 minimum.

In my opinion they have the rich soil mix of black dirt, sand and manure. Great for planting and sod. Friendly very knowledgeable in landscape.

Went there in hopes of doing business. However, the woman at the counter was useless to me, every question I asked her....she did not know. So, I want to know, WHAT IS SHE DOING THERE? Never go there again.

I have relied on Lounsbury Landscaping for all my landscaping projects, large and small, for over twenty years at two residences. Frankly, I've never known a lot about plants and landscaping; I just know when something appears to have been done right. I quickly learned to just "turn Ben loose" after giving him an idea of what I was interested in accomplishing, and I have never been displeased with his recommendations or plans. The quality of the materials and workmanship is invariably topnotch. The crew is very good at what they do, and you'll appreciate the care and attention to detail that is obvious in their work and the meticulous way they clean up when they're done! Last fall I got 7 plants and 4 to 5 tons of river rock worth about 400 USD.
By this spring, out of 6 plants, 6 turn out well and one did not come up. I called up few times so that i can bring the one plant along with the pot it came up and receipt as well to replace it. I was assuming they have a one yr warranty. They rejected said that they will not replace it as they don't give warranty if they did not plant. I was disappointed they did not replace one plat with my purchase of 400 usd. I explained that i planted all next to each other so there is no way i made a mistake the way the planted.However he rejected after long conversation. When i went to home depot recently i found those plants are little cheaper at home depot, but not much.

These guys do a top notch job and their work holds upextremely well. Both owners hold engineering degrees and have been in business for decades servicing everything from basic jobs to the needs of the most exclusive homes in Iowa. We had them landscape around our whole house and replace a builder grade deck with a paver patio surrounded by boulders, unique rock, plants, and limestone steps and edging. Can’t tell you how pleased we have been, how well it has held up over the years, how it stands out amongst the run of the mill landscaping, and how many compliments we have received. They are worth every penny and their stellar, local word of mouth reputation keeps them busy year round.

We've used Lounsbury for a number of landscaping projects. They always perform excellent work at a reasonable price. They're now scheduled to rebuild a retaining wall for us this fall. Andy Lounsbury provided us with several good ideas for the project.

We stopped in on a road trip to Washington State to get some gravel for weight in the back of our pickup. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! It was honestly one of the highlights of our 3,225 mile trip.
